I Prayed have prayed
Lord, please protect our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world from this virus and from those who would attempt to blame its spread on them. May Your truth shine, Your shield defend, and Your bountiful storehouses bless them.

Our battle in the coronavirus pandemic is not against flesh and blood. We are fighting an unseen enemy. We need God’s mercy and a united front to stop it.

Sadly, there are individuals — even leaders — who are using this time to stoke flames of fear and anger against vulnerable “others,” like religious minorities. That could spell trouble for Christians and members of other faith groups around the world.

Last Tuesday, U.S. Ambassador for International Religious Freedom Sam Brownback took to Twitter to denounce using minority faiths as scapegoats during the coronavirus crisis.

“This is wrong,” he said. “This is a global pandemic — we must all work together and support one another. We call on host countries to step up and push back on these false narratives.”

One offender that likely won’t surprise you is China, ground zero for the outbreak. The authoritarian regime is well known already for harassing Christians, Uyghur Muslims, Tibetan Buddhists, and others who will not submit to the communist state as their ultimate allegiance. The pandemic has simply given authorities new cover for their attacks.

To China’s west, longtime foes Pakistan and India are also struggling with division. Pakistan is a primarily Sunni Muslim nation, and some in the majority are targeting the Shia Muslim minority during the crisis, even referring to the coronavirus as the “Shia virus.” There are fears stigmatization of the Shia could prevent them from receiving proper care.

In India, the world’s largest democracy, religious attacks are sadly not new. Muslims make up a sizable minority at 14 percent of the population (14 percent of 1.3 billion means more Muslims live in India than any other nation besides Indonesia). Given their growing ranks and India’s hostile relationship with Pakistan, Muslims have been viewed with suspicion by many in the Hindu majority. Extremists have been known to assault and murder Muslims, and government agents have been accused of ignoring or even fomenting such attacks.

Now the hashtag #CoronaJihad is reportedly being used to blame Muslims for the spread of the virus and stir up hate. This is concerning both for Indian Muslims and the 30 million Indian Christians who also regularly face persecution at the hands of Hindu extremists. Open Doors USA ranks India as the 10th most dangerous country in the world for believers (worse than China).

These are just a few examples, but the problem is growing — enough that the the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) issued a release on the broad challenge in recent days. USCIRF Chairman Tony Perkins said, “COVID-19 does not discriminate based on religion or creed… It is time to stop scapegoating religious minorities — as we have witnessed by the Chinese Communist Party — and instead unite against this pandemic.”

Will you pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world?

Please pray that they not be harmed by the virus or the hands of men. Pray that social stigmatization would not prevent them from fair access to food and medicine. Pray that those imprisoned for standing true to Christ may be released.

Would you pray, too, that governments would actually open themselves to the value of religious communities and their ministries? Now is the time for trust to be built so that, by God’s grace, as a team we may all be victorious in this struggle and beyond.

In you, Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; deliver me in your righteousness. Turn your ear to me, come quickly to my rescue; be my rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me. (Psalm 31:1-2)

I just saw a picture of a man standing in front of his home destroyed by a tornado. BUT HE HAD HIS MASK FIRMLY IN PLACE.
Proof of the enemy making inroads in this country is evident when thay kind of fear has so penetrated our society we do thinhs to obey regardless.
Point this man to Jesus and the Power of the Blood to heal, save, deliver and restore.Amen

Heavenly Father we decree Psalms 91 over your people and thank you that the angles of the Lord shall help them in Jesus name. Amen

Psalm 91 The Passion Translation (TPT)
Safe and Secure
91 When you sit enthroned[a] under the shadow of Shaddai,[b]
you are hidden[c] in the strength of God Most High.
2 He’s the hope that holds me and the Stronghold to shelter me,
the only God for me, and my great confidence.
3 He will rescue you from every hidden trap of the enemy,[d]
and he will protect you from false accusation
and any deadly curse.[e]
4 His massive arms[f] are wrapped around you, protecting you.
You can run under his covering of majesty and hide.
His arms of faithfulness are a shield keeping you from harm.
5 You will never worry about an attack of demonic forces at night
nor have to fear a spirit of darkness coming against you.
6 Don’t fear a thing!
Whether by night or by day, demonic danger will not trouble you,[g]
nor will the powers of evil launched against you.
7 Even in a time of disaster, with thousands and thousands being killed,
you will remain unscathed and unharmed.
8 you will be a spectator as the wicked perish in judgment,
for they will be paid back for what they have done!
9–10 When we live our lives within the shadow of God Most High,
our secret hiding place, we will always be shielded from harm.
How then could evil prevail against us or disease infect us?
11 God sends angels with special orders to protect you wherever you go,
defending you from all harm.
12 If you walk into a trap, they’ll be there for you
and keep you from stumbling.
13 You’ll even walk unharmed among the fiercest powers of darkness,[h]
trampling every one of them beneath your feet!
14 For here is what the Lord has spoken to me:
“Because you have delighted in me as my great lover,
I will greatly protect you.
I will set you in a high place, safe and secure before my face.
15 I will answer your cry for help every time you pray,
and you will find and feel my presence
even in your time of pressure and trouble.
I will be your glorious hero and give you a feast.
16 You will be satisfied with a full life and with all that I do for you.
For you will enjoy the fullness of my salvation!”

Lord have mercy on our brothers and sisters in Christ who are suffering because of persecution. Be their supernatural protector and provider, healer and deliverer, comforter and Keeper! Multiple their bread and water, do great and mighty miracles for them so all the world will know you are the God who saves. Glory to your holy name of Lord Jesus, Amen

Praying that wicked, self serving leaders in their deceptions, persecutions and harm be canceled in the powerful name of Jesus!

1 First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. 1 Timothy 2:1-2 NASB

Amen
