I Prayed have prayed
Lord, we ask You to guide the opinions of our justices and the verdicts of the Supreme Court. May they be informed by Your Truth and align with the Your highest Court. Amen.

The Supreme Court is made up of a majority of conservative justices, but this latest term has taught Americans that not all conservatives are created equally…

“I think the most conservative members are Justice Thomas and next Justice Gorsuch, and close by probably Justice Samuel Alito,” Josh Blackman, professor at South Texas College of Law…tells CBN News.

In the middle, making up a more centrist coalition, he says, are Chief Justice John Roberts, Justice Brett Kavanaugh, and…Justice Amy Coney Barrett…

[I]n Fulton vs. City of Philadelphia, the court ruled unanimously that the city was discriminating against a Catholic foster care agency…but stopped short of addressing the…issue of religious liberty.

That led a frustrated Justice Samuel Alito to write, “This decision might as well be written on the dissolving paper sold in magic shops.”…

…Gorsuch joined the three centrists to block hearing a transgender bathroom case out of Virginia.

“The court’s conservatives…do not want to get bogged down in the transgender issue…” adds Blackman.

Still, next term the court will tackle several…issues like New York’s handgun law, and an abortion case of out Mississippi that strikes at the heart of Roe versus Wade…

So how will this new alignment on the court play out? Blackman has a prediction.

“I don’t think there are enough judges with the backbone to do it.”

One day, these judges will stand before the King of Kings and be judged! I pray that they realize that when they make their “judgements!!” Let the fear of the Lord come to each one of them, in Jesus name.

This is what I have to say to the judges/all judges. “Consider what you are doing, for you do not judge for man but for the Lord who is with you when you render judgment. Now then let the fear of the Lord be upon you; be very careful what you do, for the Lord our God will have no part in unrighteousness, or partiality or the taking of a bribe.” Thus you shall do in the fear of the Lord, faithfully and wholeheartedly. “Whenever any dispute comes to you from your brethren who live in there cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and ordinances, you shall warn them so that they may not be guilty before the Lord, and wrath may not come on you and your brethren. Thus you shall do and you will not be guilty. 2 Chronicles 19: 6,7,9,10.

Father God—I pray for each of our Supreme Court Justices. Reveal Yourself to them…in dreams, in Word, through interactions in the courtroom and the specific cases You are bringing before them, and in ways we cannot see or think up. Let them feel the weight of the position You have placed them in. Let them FEAR YOU and make their rulings knowing that they are accountable to You for the decisions they make and the consequences of those decisions. Let them not be swayed by public opinion but by Your Truth and values.
God, bless them when they stand and make life-affirming rulings that align with who You are. Encourage them to do what is Right and Good—both in public and private life.

Our country is aching from the consequences of sin. We beg for Your forgiveness and for Your grace. Please encourage us as we work to do Your will. Let us see Your blessings as we obey You and as we stand for You and Your principles.
Encourage us as we live under the rulings that the Supreme Court makes.

We trust You and ask this in the all-powerful name of Jesus.

They may not have the backbone, who does? God Himself empowers and strengthens! Let us not give up praying for an end to abortion and every law that leads us far from God.
The Judges sit on the court because God has allowed it. May His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
