Father, we thank You for putting a peacemaker in the White House. We pray he would seek Your approval, not the approval of man, and that he would continue to push for peace around the globe.

On Friday, President Trump was passed over for the Nobel Peace Prize. The woman who did win, however, chose to dedicate her award to the President, citing his “decisive support.”

Pray for your fellow intercessor.

From the Daily Wire:

Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado, who was awarded the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize on Friday, said that she was dedicating the award to President Donald Trump “for his decisive support of our cause.”

Machado, who has been targeted by the Nicolás Maduro regime in socialist Venezuela, was named the winner of this year’s Nobel Peace Prize for her “tireless work promoting democratic rights for the people of Venezuela and … her struggle to achieve a just and peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy.” Machado said that the prize is a “recognition of the struggle of all Venezuelans,” adding that Venezuela is relying on Trump and the United States to help the country “achieve freedom and democracy.”

“I dedicate this prize to the suffering people of Venezuela and to President Trump for his decisive support of our cause!” Machado wrote.

According to the Daily Wire, Machado is currently in hiding. This follows the Venezuelan government’s announcement that reigning dictator Maduro won the 2024 election, despite evidence showing that Machado’s ally Edmundo González was victorious. Machado has been reportedly hiding since January, while González currently lives in exile in Spain.

President Trump, meanwhile, was seen as a strong contender to win the Nobel Peace Prize due to his efforts in ending conflicts around the world. The award came only one day after Israel voted in favor of the President’s peace plan and ceasefire. White House Communications Director Steven Cheung slammed the Nobel Committee, asserting that they “proved they place politics over peace” by passing over the President.

Since his inauguration, President Trump has been a strong supporter of Machado. He praised her and González shortly before he was sworn in, and he placed a $50 million bounty on Maduro earlier this year. He also increased sanctions on Venezuela following its fraudulent election.

Let’s thank God for giving us a President who supports peace and freedom around the world!

Lord Jesus,
We thank You for sending us a unifier and a peacemaker – President Trump. He is a fighter, and he fights boldly! He’s rescued America from a failed, corrupt political establishment and warmongers. His foreign policy strategy on wars and global conflicts is based on America First and Peace through Strength. He avoids war, but is not shy about force when U.S interest is damaged. From his first term as president, he did not start any new foreign wars. He advocated for an America First foreign policy emphasizing Negotiation over war. He pushed for troop withdrawals from Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria. His North Korea Diplomacy eased tensions and prevented conflict; his transactional diplomacy with NATO and Ukraine war helped restructure shared responsibility; he built the bridges for the peace agreement between Hamas and Israel … Frankly speaking, just his Abraham Accords agreement is enough for him to get the Nobel Peace Prize! Lord, We pray that he would seek Your approval, not the approval of man, and that he would continue to push for peace around the world. May his existence glorify You. Amen
