The New York Senate passed a radical pro-abortion bill Tuesday that would allow unborn babies to be aborted for basically any reason up to birth.
Metro reports the bill passed after abortion activists pushed it for more than a decade in New York. Until now, it failed to pass the state Senate because of Republican lawmakers, but the November election put pro-abortion Democrats in control of both houses.
The vote was 38-24.
UPDATE: Governor Andrew Cuomo has signed the bill into law.
A New York Public Radio reporter said she heard a voice shout, “May almighty God have mercy on this state!” in the Senate soon after the vote.
The legislation goes beyond Roe v. Wade, allowing abortions even when the Supreme Court has said states may regulate them, according to the pro-life leaders. . . .
The bill appears to restrict late-term abortions, but it adds a broad “health” exception for abortions after 24 weeks. The exception would allow women to abort unborn babies up to nine months of pregnancy for “age, economic, social and emotional factors, rather than the biological definition of ‘health’ that normally comes to mind,” according to New York Right to Life….
New York State Right to Life predicted that the bill will lead to the suppression of pro-lifers’ freedom of speech and conscience, as well. Doctors and nurses who refuse to help abort unborn babies could lose their jobs, and pro-life advocates could be persecuted for just speaking out for life.
Already one of the most pro-abortion states in America, New York would become even more pro-abortion if the law passes. In 2016, 82,189 unborn babies were aborted in New York, with about half being taxpayer-funded, according to the local news. Of those babies, 1,763 were at least 20 weeks, meaning they may have been viable outside the womb.
Meanwhile, a new poll indicates this radical pro-abortion legislation is not what Americans want. According to a national poll conducted by Marist University, three in four Americans (75 percent) say abortion should be limited to – at most – the first three months of pregnancy. This includes most of those who identify as Republicans (92 percent), Independents (78 percent) and a majority of Democrats (60 percent). It also includes more than six in 10 (61 percent) who identify as “pro-choice” on abortion.
The Marist Poll follows on the heels of a May 2018 Gallup poll which found that 53 percent of Americans oppose all or most abortions. (Excerpts from Micaiah Bilger on Life News)

Oh God, have mercy and give all believing Americans a call to have the courage to boldly take a stand and draw a line in the sand today, to speak out and take action! Satan would destroy our children and emasculate our boys and men.
As a nurse, I pray protection over our medical people who will be persecuted for taking a stand for life over partnering with this death culture. I feel led to work with pro life clinics saving lives. We must all do what we CAN do and fast and pray as our sisters above are saying (interesting these are all women responding). Men must stand at the gates and on the wall to surround this nation in the spiritual realm and fight with boldness, taking all the powerful tools of God’s weapons for the pulling down of strongholds (2 Cor 10:4-5:(amplified) For the weapons of our warfare are not physical, but they are MIGHTY for the pulling down, overthrow, and destruction of strongholds, to refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the true knowledge of God; and we lead every THOUGHT and PURPOSE AWAY CAPTIVE INTO THE OBEDIENCE OF CHRIST!) God help us all!
Father, I come in agreement with Jan Buuck’s prayer and all others here who ask for protection for all medical workers who stand for life. Father, Open the eyes of those who say it is okay to kill babies but we need to protect all animals from abuse. Rend their calloused hearts to see the TRUTH.
Father,show us how to use the weapons You have given us to fight this battle against satan’s lies and deceptions and pull down the stronghold abortion. Amen
I grieve. I sorrow. This pains me. This harm being done is tearing my heart.
But I am reminded, and it brings sober comfort to remember, GOD knows. He sees. And He is aware of WHO “did this,” and who is glad in heart that it has been done ~ this signing into “law” by Governor Andrew Cuomo.
God Knows. And God is Judge. This too sobers me and reminds me to humble myself and be on my face. The One and Only Judge of hearts determines what to DO about this offense and all the sins that brought our society to this point. If and when the LORD’s mighty arm swings in judgment over New York (and/or America) I want to be low to the ground first, praying:
“God! HELP us!!! God forgive me. Forgive us. Mercy, LORD!”
Lord God, this news has sickened all who love you throughout our nation. I plead for your continued mercy on America. 60 million of your image bearers have not been given their chance at life since Roe vs. Wade. We pray that you will strengthen the pro-life people in New York to continue to fight for life. Cause the church to rise up to speak out against this evil. Protect the precious unborn in New York and in every state. Help their mothers to see their unborn child as You do, precious and loved. In Jesus’ name,Amen

Dear ones,
“And don’t allow yourselves to be weary or disheartened in planting good seeds, for the season of reaping the wonderful harvest you’ve planted is coming!” Gal. 6
Forty six years ago on the Hebrew month of Shevat 19, 5733 (our Jan. 22, 1973) our Supreme Court issued a decision that made it legal to kill babies in the womb. 60 million babies have been brutally killed and God only knows how many women have been killed while others are severely wounded for life. Many are speaking forth agreement with this death plan. Why? Because it is the month of Shevat and they do not want the death plan to be change.
During the Hebrew month of Shevat we are told to develop a plan to sustain generations. The US develop a plan and it was for the death of the most innocent of all – infants in the womb. Since then the death plan for children has grown and grown. You know what I am talking about. We now have the highest infant mortality rate of all industrial nations, the opioid crisis, toxins in vaccines, breaking of covenants that hurt children with all kinds of unhealthy results and now even at birth children in NJ can be given a birth certificate that will not agree with the sex God gave them.
BUT…….WE DO NOT HAVE TO EMBRACE THAT DEATH PLAN. WE ARE A KINGDOM PEOPLE WHO ARE EQUIPPED TO RULE WHERE GOD HAS PLANTED US.
At our last monthly Rosh Chodesh, which welcomed the month of Shevat, we developed a new plan for SUSTAINING generations. It was a plan for future generations to be raise up with a foundation of righteousness by rivers of bliss. Children under this plan will grow to be strong poplars by rivers of living water. (Psalm 1 and Is. 44:3-4 ) They will bear the fruits of the Spirit, they will know God, the Word, they will live in obedience and be free of those things that come to lie, steal and destroy.
Now here is my request:
When you hear, read or see evidence of the plan for death – PLEASE renounce it, KILL it, RULE that the plan may no longer bear fruit. LOSE the plan that God has prepared – it has a future and a hope that will sustain generations. PLEASE STOP saying how evil things are going to be and instead speak a binding of the enemy plan and rule, walk, talk and live in God’s plan. The future of our children and grandchildren are depending on you to rule like you really are a Kingdom people! (Jer. 29:11)
Agree with you 100% we need to rise up and declare and decree God’s living Word over NY and all 50 States including Puerto Rico ..we ask for a great visitation of the Glory and His Mighty Presence among the Nations .Blesings
Oh Dear LORD God Almighty, the blood of the innocents is on our hands and cries out from the ground of America we have poisoned with it. Oh Father, please stop this madness. Protect little babies and help young women to stay pure. Oh Father, You are just and merciful, we know Your judgement is coming to New York and this country. We are unworthy of Your great love, please send a revival of love for You, it’s our only hope for a future without infanticide. In Jesus name we pray, Amen

Dear God, protect the unborn babies and our children from this gender abuse. How like the Egyptian declaration in Moses day and Herod’s declaration when Jesus was born to kill all the babies even up to three years old. Satan is fearful of babies and children. Make us bold to protect and stand by these young warriors. Psalm 8:2 ESV Out of the mouth of babies and infants, you have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger. Raise up our children and let them be a strong force for Jesus Christ.

Father, I pray for courage for those who in their hearts oppose abortion and in their minds know it is murder but are intimidated and fearful of reprisal if they are affiliated with pro-life message. Father, if the majority of Americans oppose abortion, how are these laws getting through?
Please have mercy on the babies and give us a loud voice to bring a political end to abortion and for the church to rise up and pray in unity against this holocaust. Forgive us our apathy while babies are slaughtered in the womb. Help us do what is good and right in your eyes. Give us wisdom, grace and mercy to act against this horror as you would have us. Turn the hearts of the Fathers (and Mothers) to their children … Malachi 4:6 Give us Your zeal to pray and to pull down the strongholds which are mercilessly killing generations of our children…Help us Lord do what we alone cannot do. In Jesus name and for His Sake. Amen
I think God will and is judging America. The believers will be martyred. But we should not fear those who would destroy the body but only Him that can send both body and soul into hell. What’s going on in America now would make Sodom and Gomorrah blush. Demon Democrats in Congress are running the country against the desire of Americans and their rightfully elected President. They want to eliminate the electoral college so they will win and become the only political party. They want to remove our Constitution and our Constitutional Rights. They attack, smear and eventually will kill anyone who exposes them for the demon possessed monsters they are. Pray for God to stop them and at least delay the global anti-Christ government these people are working for. For the sake of our children. Lord, I cannot stand to see these abominations going on. Take me in Your Mercy.
Brothers and sisters in Christ in New York, we know your hearts are grieved deeply by the law in your state. We are standing with you in prayer and holding fast to Christ with you. Thank you for following God faithfully!

I live in New York and so many Christians here are grieving. I have been weeping in prayer and have had to spend time in the word for 2 days to gain God’s higher perspective. It has been oppressive here. It is Satan rising up against God himself and what He is doing in this nation. Thank you for the encouragement. The church here and me need it. But God is on the Throne! In Christ, thank you.
Father forgive us as a nation for shedding innocent blood. Forgive us as a church for not heeding the call to fast and pray as we should. We please your blood Jesus over our sins, and the sins of our nation. God end abortion and send revival to America. We pray that nurses who perform the abortions would have a mother’s heart. That they would have the fear of the Lord as the midwives did in Exodus refusing to participate in the shedding of innocent blood. Father we pray for the women who go through those clinic doors confused, and hurt would encounter your love. I pray that we as the church would step up and open our hearts to these women. Father I pray that full term women would choose life and adoption over abortion.

What is wrong with New York, soooooo anti-God. This is what happens when you remove God from our schools. To abort a baby is murder and to kill a baby as it is being born is horrendous. These people are brutal murders, there is no other name for it. Speak out loudly about it and pray for God to change their minds. PRAY, PRAY, PRAY.
