Netanyahu Convinced Trump Not to Directly Strike Iran
According to a recent report, President Trump was dissuaded from striking Iran by a phone call from Prime Minister Netanyahu, who feared a strike would put his nation in danger.

From The Western Journal:
When reports began surfacing that Tehran was killing protesters and children, many predicted that U.S. military intervention was all but assured, based on Trump’s Truth Social post.
Trump further bolstered those concerns when he directly addressed the potential of the military conflict with reporters.
…
Now, despite all that, it reportedly just took a phone call from Netanyahu to quash those considerations.
According to the New York Times, the outlet that initially broke the story, Israel and other nations in the region pleaded with President Trump not to attack Iran. The nations feared that a U.S. strike would lead to a violent response against them.
President Trump has since taken action against Iran, albeit not in the form of a military strike. He announced tariffs against any country trading with Iran last week, including longtime U.S. adversaries Russia and China.
This story demonstrates the tight, positive relationship between President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu. It also, as the Western Journal notes, dispels some myths about Israel. Many have argued, as the Journal notes, that Israel is a power-hungry nation determined to drag America into a war with Iran. And yet, in this instance, Israel appears to have been the more measured of the two nations.
Though President Trump did not strike Iran this time, there’s no telling what may happen if the Islamic nation continues to attack it’s own people. Let’s pray for peace in Iran, and let’s ask God to give our President and Prime Minister Netanyahu wisdom as they deal with this oppressive dictatorship!
