I Prayed have prayed

Thursday, May 3, 2018 is the National Day of Prayer. We urge you to attend an observance and/or watch the Livestream and pray in unity and agreement with hundreds of thousands of believers across the country who will be praying the official prayer.

I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought. (1 Corinthians 1:10)

While Thursday, May 3, is our National Day of Prayer, we must be vigilant to pray for America consistently and even daily. These are our four major prayer priorities for America in the month of May. Oh, wouldn’t it be incredible if millions of Americans could unite in prayer this month for the Lord to move in these four major areas in America? Tell your friends, share these prayer points with them, with pastors, church leaders, business and educational leaders. Let’s join in clear agreement, visible union, and extraordinary prayer for these priorities during May.

  1. ASK GOD TO BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord—the people He has chosen to be His own possession!” Psalm 33:12

Ask God to bless America mercifully and give favor to the United States of America.

Ask God to bless America spiritually in a new and fresh way and move us to return to the Lord our God.

Ask God to bless America by raising up godly leaders in all areas of our nation: locally, regionally, statewide, and nationally.

Ask God to bless America economically so that all people in our nation will be blessed and so we can be a blessing to the entire world.

Ask God to bless America by securing our nation from all evil and harm from within our nation and from outside; please Lord, continue to bring resolve in the North Korea issue.

  1. PRAY FOR UNITY IN AMERICA

“Making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” Ephesians 4:3

The present spiritual crisis in America is calling us to pray for and take all necessary actions to come together as a nation.

God is the only One who can bring unity, harmony, and oneness in America; therefore, we look only to Him in prayer.

Call upon God to empower us to make every effort to live in unity, call for unity, and continually forward unity in America.

  1. PRAY FOR THE CENTERS OF INFLUENCE IN AMERICA

“First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone, for kings and all those who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.” 1 Timothy 2:1-2

Pray for the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of the United States government.

Pray for America’s military, its leaders, and all personnel to be protected by God, and for the courage to depend upon God.

Pray for the members of our media in America to be life-giving truth bearers and unity contributors.

Pray for America’s businesses to have leaders of integrity, be creators of economic blessing, and givers to the community.

Pray for America’s centers of education to be truth-centered, excellence-driven, and bearers of opportunities.

Pray for the churches of America to be gospel-centered in message, disciple-makers in mission, and Spirit-empowered to unity.

Pray for the families in America to return to the biblical model, reconcile with one another, and be restored to love and unity.

  1. ASK GOD FOR THE NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER ON THURSDAY, MAY 3, TO BECOME A CATALYTIC SPIRITUAL MOVEMENT ACROSS AMERICA

“They all were continually united in prayer.” Acts 1:14

Lord, we ask You to unify Your Church in America, so the Church can call our nation to unity on the National Day of Prayer and in the future.

Lord, we ask You to move each of us to make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit personally in our families, churches, workplaces, and communities.

Lord, we ask You to empower our National Day of Prayer volunteers who will lead and serve in thousands upon thousands of observances on May 3.

Lord, we ask You to use and anoint Dr. Ronnie Floyd, the President of the National Day of Prayer Task Force, as he provides leadership the entire week; but, most importantly the National Observance of the National Day of Prayer in historic Statuary Hall in the US Capitol Building in Washington, DC, on Thursday, May 3, at 7:30 p.m. EDT.

Lord, we ask You give to Dr. Floyd the exact words needed for every media interview related to the National Day of Prayer.

Lord, we ask You to use the thousands upon thousands of observances of the National Day of Prayer to be a catalytic spiritual movement across America, ushering in the revival of the Church and the next Great Spiritual Awakening in America. (Originally posted on the National Day of Prayer website.)

FATHER GOD, We repent for the many ways we grieve your Holy Spirit individually and collectively but we claim Your Son’s Blood in our defense and we ask for Your Holy Spirit’s POWER TO Cleanse and to Unite us under Your Banner of Love according to Your Mercy and Grace. May we remind YOU of 2Chronicles 7:14 and Joel 2:28 and even Malachi 4:6(NLT)

Asking Father God to convict of our sins…that He would show us our sins as He sees them, so that we could hate our sin as He hates them, and that we would turn away from our sins and turn to Him.

Heavenly Father and Jesus our Lord, I am coming to you in agreement with much of the Prayer Of Carolyn K (entered here yest. May 2). May WE come to you in unity as your people and as Brothers and Sisters in Christ. May WE, individuals and Nation, be a “beacon of light”, of hope and love, at home and around the world by expressing and sharing your mercy and grace, love and forgiveness. May WE be humble, loving and forgiving, may WE bless others, by your spirit and love in us. May WE be your people and your “witnesses” in all of our ways, our actions, our words. Oh Lord God, we repent we are weak and we are hammered by the world’s influences; Forgive us our sins and our failures. Holy Spirit, lead and guide us, strengthen us. Now Lord, I THANK YOU for all your mercies, your abundant BLESSINGS on us as a people and as a Nation. I will stop to Thank You, to Praise you for your goodness, your mercies, your patience, your love, your FAITHFULNESS to us, your continual Blessings.

I ask now Lord, for your guidance, your wisdom for our Leaders and people of influence and impact in Government (at all levels and positions), in the Law/Legal arena, in Religious arena, even in areas of Media, in education, in homes and families. I believe Lord that without you, we are helpless, hopeless, we wander from our purpose of life. With you, we have hope, joy, spirit of love and goodwill; we look forward to a time of peace and fulfillment in you. I believe Lord God that you can awaken and renew hearts and minds to true love and goodwill toward all mankind.

Thank you, oh God, for who you are, for the plans you have for your creation, for your plan of redemption and hope for us in your Son, Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and who rose again to Heaven to prepare and await for us, who accept and believe.

How great is our God and greatly to be praised! Please give our nation a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us. Thank you that we can offer up our prayers without the threat of persecution. Bring us together in a spirit of unity and heal our land. Open our hearts to your Word and your Word to our hearts. Remind us that we are in a state of sanctification, of learning and give each of us an extra measure of patience and grace to understand our fellow man. Show us how to love one another in Jesus’ name.

All of our prayers should begin with repentance for our sins and the sins of our nation. “If my people….would humble them selves and pray…and turn from their wicked ways…”

Father we do humble ourselves and pray for forgiveness. We strive to turn from our wicked ways and seek your help in doing so. We thank you for listening to us, for forgiving us and for healing our nation. Thank you Jesus for dying for us on the cross today we may be truly free. Amen.

I am hosting a National Day of Prayer as State Director for CWA of Hawaii in Hilo, Hawaii, with the help of my church Pastors and some members of my church. I am going to be praying for Unity for this Country, not Division, and for the hearts and minds of all the people to be turned to God through a mighty revival. This country needs a country-wide revival now!

LORD…the issues are so big and we feel so small sometimes, but you are the Creator and Sustainer of all….our merciful and forgiving Father who promises to hear the prayers of your people. We have been sinning as a nation and we desire to come back….like the prodigal son. Please forgive us and begin today to restore our nation to one that glorifies you. May your Spirit fall fresh on every gathering as we join in prayer as a nation.

Lord, may we stand in unity with one another as brothers and sisters in Christ. May our nation be the beacon of light and hope for the world, the young, the old,the lost, the hurting. May we not only declare you’re glory, but you’re mercy, love and forgiveness. May we be humble, loving, forgiving, and our words be life-giving. May we bless others, even those who curse us, may we always walk in you’re ways, for we are you’re people, you’re church who points the lost to you our Father of Heavenly Lights.
Thank you Jesus.

Lord I ask that you would bless the USA, unify our country, bless us with godly leaders that have the courage and strength to fully rely on you for guidance, for the media to be honest truth bearers and for this National Day of Prayer to be the catalyst to spark a spiritual movement across the USA and unify us personally, families, churches, our workplaces and in our communities. Amen
