A candidate for Attorney General in Ohio has gone viral for announcing proudly on X that he is “going to kill Donald Trump.” This comes as many have threatened the President’s life, prompting believers around the nation to pray.

Forhan clearly expresses his intention to kill the current democratically elected President of the United States. Although he clarifies that he wants to do so through capital punishment as opposed to assassination, this isn’t much better. It’s also unclear what crime he hopes to accuse the President of, as the Commander in Chief hasn’t done anything to warrant the death penalty.
While Forhan’s comments are shocking enough on their own, they are, unfortunately, part of a larger trend. Many have sought the President’s life over the past few years. Intercessors will remember July of 2024 when a gunman barely missed then-former President Trump’s skull, shooting his ear on live television. And earlier this week, a librarian in West Virginia was arrested after she attempted to recruit assassins to target President Trump.
This also comes as violence has been on the rise across America. From healthcare CEOs to podcast hosts, many seem to have decided that deadly violence is an appropriate response to personal disagreements. And as President Trump continues to serve the nation, many who oppose his America First agenda have come to see assassination as a morally acceptable way to impede that agenda’s progress.

The enemy of our souls clearly wants to remove President Trump at all costs. However, we saw God protect him in Butler, Pennsylvania, two years ago, and we believe through prayer and intercession we will see God protect him again. Oh Lord! I cry out to You, Father, in Jesus’ mighty name! Protect President Trump and his whole family from any and all harm! Just as You miraculously spared him at Butler, PA, do it again and again I pray. Thank You for how You have spared him continuously. Use him as long as possible we pray. Even find a way constitutionally for him to run another term. Did he not have a genuinely won election stolen from him in 2020? Does not that merit him another term? He should have been president then, but not only was it stolen from him, he was viciously and constantly attacked for four years in a completely lawless and criminal manner! Does he not deserve another four years? Oh Lord, give him that we pray. And while I’m at it, please, please, please, do not let the Democrats win the midterm elections – in either house! The Lord will keep you safe from secret traps and deadly diseases He will spread His wings over you and keep you secure.. His faithfulness is like a shield or a city wall. You don’t need to worry about dangers at night or arrows during the day. You won’t fear diseases that strike in the dark or sudden disaster at noon. You will not be harmed though thousands fall at your side. And with your eyes, you will see the punishment of the wicked. The Lord, most High, is your fortress, run to Him for safety and no terrible disasters will strike you or your home.

Heavenly Father,
We come before You in humility and faith, acknowledging that You alone are our refuge and our strength. We lift up President Donald J. Trump to You and ask for Your divine protection over his life.
Lord, we ask that You place a hedge of protection around him—body, mind, and spirit. Guard his food and water, that nothing harmful may come near him. Purify the air he breathes, and let every environment he enters be saturated with Your presence and peace.
We pray protection over Air Force One, every aircraft, motorcade, and all forms of transportation he uses—by land, air, and sea. Station Your angels at every point of travel, going before him and standing guard behind him.
Father, we declare and decree that every plot, plan, and scheme formed in secret to harm, attack, or assassinate our president is exposed, disrupted, and brought to nothing. What is conceived in darkness is revealed by Your light. Every hidden assignment of the enemy is uncovered, dismantled, and restrained before it can take form.
Father, expose the wolves in sheep’s clothing around President Trump.
Remove every individual who carries hidden agendas, deception, betrayal, or malice. Bring truth swiftly into the light, separate the faithful from the false, and establish only those who walk in integrity, loyalty, and righteousness in positions of access and influence.
Cover the White House, Mar-a-Lago, and every residence or location he occupies. Let no weapon formed against him prosper, and let every attempt against his life fail. Turn back all evil intentions so that they cannot advance, and let Your sovereign will stand firm.

By faith, we continue to thank our Father-God for His past protection & covering of President Trump and we decree that as our Father-God protected King David time & time & time again from King Saul’s murderous threats, He will provide every means necessary to bring to pass His word that says “No weapon that is formed against President Trump will prosper; And every tongue that accuses Him in judgment ‘You’, Father-God will condemn. Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up Donald Trump to You. Your Word says that “the king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord” (Proverbs 21:1), and we trust that You are sovereign over all authority. Please place Your hedge of protection around his life, as You promise in Psalm 91, guarding him from harm and violence.
Lord, expose and frustrate any plans formed against him, for “no weapon formed against him shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17). We ask that You restrain evil and bring light where there are hidden intentions.
Grant him wisdom, discernment, and humility to lead according to Your will, remembering that “there is no authority except from God” (Romans 13:1). May righteousness exalt our nation (Proverbs 14:34), and may Your peace rule over our land.

Matthew 5 says there is ONE way for Christians to pray. You are not to do it in public and you are to take no thought for tomorrow.
Douglas, I hope you will consider Jesus’s words in Matthew 18:19-20 (Aramaic Bible in Plain English) and I simply add, there is only One to whom we pray but we MUST pray. Blessings.

Apparently the Lord Jesus did not know this, as He prayed often IN PUBLIC.
What He did not do is make a big deal out of it, as it was as natural to Him as
breathing in and breathing out.
