New York City Mayor Eric Adams, reflecting on documented safety gains under his leadership, cautions that a Zohran Mamdani victory could dismantle hard‑fought progress.

Mamdani’s proposals include reducing Rikers Island population, swapping police for social workers during domestic violence calls, and defunding the NYPD – measures Adams calls dangerous. He points to the tragic deaths of Officers Mora and Rivera in 2022, asserting that social workers cannot replace police in high-risk situations.
Adams, a former NYPD captain, credits his administration with declining crime rates and improved public safety strategies – such as Q‑Teams and hotspot patrols – led by Police Commissioner Tisch, backed by major law enforcement unions.
He frames the mayoral race as a stark choice: responsible leadership rooted in proven crime fighting, or radical policy that could reverse progress.
Critics also warn Mamdani’s socialist agenda – entailing rent freezes, wealth taxes, grocery-store government takeovers, and business penalties – threatens economic vitality and may drive businesses out of the city. Law enforcement voices fear that an exodus of officers and reductions in force could render New York akin to “Gotham,” with rampant public danger.
Adams is countering Mamdani’s momentum by registering a million new voters, appealing to moderates, independents, immigrant communities, and religious groups to reject impractical socialism and preserve the city’s decades‑long revival. With Mamdani leading polls, the mayor emphasizes this November’s election as pivotal: NYC’s safety, economy, and future hang in the balance.

Heavenly Father, You perceive the hearts and minds of men and know them full well. Bring forward at this appointed time a servant after Your own heart. You do not look at numbers the same way as we do. Winnow out the representatives that will not bring honor to Your name, set Your face toward the one who will. I pray for the people in this city, let them hear Your voice and respond. Zohran Mamdani has benefitted from the freedoms in this nation, but is desiring to ensnare the citizens of NYC. Let this attempt at deceiving fail. As we enter Your courts with praise and thanksgiving, let Your wise counsel and mercy prevail in this election. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

I pray for the righteous remnant in NYC. Uphold them by Your mighty right arm! Mobilize them and provide them a platform from which to encounter the people of NYC with Truth, be it a street corner or media coverage. Spur them to pray, intercede, and act – all in obedience to Your leading. Deliver them from evil, from within and without – so that their lives proclaim Your righteousness and Your glory. Sometimes the leaders that we end up with are a blessing to the righteous, and sometimes they are a means to bring judgment. I don’t know any major city that doesn’t rightfully deserve Your judgment, and most any territory in between them, but in Your wrath, please remember mercy, Lord – and preserve the righteous.
And so, you’ll be praying for a righteous remnant that opposes DJT? And just so you’re clear!… Jesus Christ did die for our sins, He rose from the dead on a SATURDAY after spending three nights and three days in a tomb and gave us the power to become sons and daughters through Jesus by the mere invoking of His name (see, 1 Corinthians 12:3).

May The Lord Jesus intervene for His own Will and forgive those who are bound by evil spirits. May the Lord Jesus remove those evil spirits from *mamdani and give him peace and righteousness! In Jesus name I pray! Amen and thank you Lord Jesus!
I’m in agreement with the prophetic voices that have spoken messages from the Lord. That those who built their houses on sand shall have a fall. They have been given grace to turnaround and it’s still there but the window is closing. There will be death angels released. It’s for the children.
Father, as truth about Zohran Mamdani, may people wake up and believe in the destruction that will follow if he is elected. Give us righteous leaders that will clean up and bring true life to New York. Bring revival and reformation to this city in your name.
People, People wise up! Look and Listen! Christian, believer in the Lord Jesus Christ our battle is with EVIL and this is in our face EVIL in NYC. Pray mightily AND if you are a New York City resident push back by standing up and standing out. The Christian Church in Nazi Germany sang praises in there houses of worship while trains were passing to the concentration camps….Christ’s church must rise and be heard like a mighty army otherwise we are going to see soon other major cities falling to extreme liberal/evil ideologies (Social Controls) – don’t wait for it – I pray we see the riches of HIS Glory displayed in HIS Church….
Father, use this man’s agenda to completely reveal what the socialist/marxist agenda is. Open the eyes of the blind and deaf to see and hear the truth about socialism. It is not a democratic type of government. Save the man’s soul in all of this. Bring a revival to NYC. Let Your River of Life flow through her and bring life everywhere it flows. Let Your River of Life flow through her? It is not a democratic type of government?… Christianity isn’t a democratic type of government!… that fact made manifest in Romans Chapter 13: v. 1! In other words, your “democratic vote” NEVER counted!… and the reason God installed Trump, is the same reason God chose Hitler, Nero and Mussolini!… and we should recall what happened to those guys!

In this life, we will never have a righteous COMMUNity. Our government is not a theocracy, but a republic. It would be nice to have a government that worshipped God alone, but as we live in this culture, may God enable us to pray and live and talk so people will be brought to life in Jesus. For God so loved the W_O_R_L_D is a desire by God for a GLOBAL C_O_M_M_U_N_ity of believers! In other other words, God was a COMMUNist!… and NO, not a community inspired by man– but, inspired by Jesus Christ, His Agape Love, and His Holy Spirit! Sorry, but you make no sense in the natural or the spiritual realm. The only thing I can agree with is that Jesus is Lord. I’m unsure what the actual point of your rant is, or who you are ranting against – but it did not serve to clarify Biblical truth or to voice a Godly prayer.
John 18:36 “Jesus answered, ‘My Kingdom is not of this world . . .'” Just as those who have entered His Kingdom are not of this world, but we are in it. May we be salt and light in this fallen world, and as Allena said, contend for revival of the ekklesia and awakening of the lost in NYC.
