After losing an endorsement from President Trump, conservative firebrand Marjorie Taylor Greene announced on Friday that she will resign her seat in the House of Representatives.

In a lengthy statement posted to X, Greene cited her growing disillusionment with Washington politics, blasting what she called a corrupt “Political Industrial Complex” that she said uses Americans as “pawns in an endless game of division.”
“Americans are used by the Political Industrial Complex of both political parties, election cycle after election cycle, in order to elect whichever side can convince Americans to hate the other side more,” Greene wrote. “And the results are always the same — nothing ever gets better for the common American man or woman.”
Greene said she had “never fit in” in Washington and was leaving Congress to “fight for the people of this country in a different way.”

Representative Greene’s decision follows a public falling out between her and President Trump two weeks ago. On November 14, the President bashed the Representative on Truth Social, calling her “Far Left” and a “ranting Lunatic.” He vowed to support any conservative primary challenger in the midterms. Representative Greene responded on X, accusing the President of targeting her over her stance on the Epstein files and seeking to “make an example” of her.

In the statement announcing her resignation, Representative Greene highlighted her past efforts to get President Trump elected to power. She wrote that “loyalty should be a two war street,” lamenting that she was “called a traitor and threatened by the President of the United States, whom I fought for.”
In her statement, Representative Greene confirmed her last day in office will be January 5, 2026. Fox notes that her district is blood red, so she will almost certainly be replaced by another Republican. Let’s pray that whoever replaces her next year fears God and will fight for what is right!

IFA doesn’t mention the break on political polices. Greene supports America focusing on America only but Trump has more of a sense of the part we play in the world. Greene is anti-Israel and Trump is pro.
Trump followers tend to think that Trump supports what ever their viewpoint is and he clearly follows his own drum beat. Many who voted for him thought that he would follow the policies of his first term and during the election he lead people to believe that this was true but once in office, he went off in direct directions.

Heavenly Father, I ask if there is any way to see forgiveness between Marjorie Green, I do not understand that someone needs to go forward and state forgivness to each other. God I did not hear the words from President Trump (as traitor). Jesus in my thinking I feel that DJT could have called her to discuss her stress and sort out this mess. I do know Marjorie has been a dedicates worker for HIM, somehow I think there was a mis-read on what was said. Jesus speak to President Trump amd maybe they could sort things out. President Trump has possibly sorted out things with Mamdani, after he said incorrect things about Trump that was not acceptable. God if you think this settlement of words cannot be healed then come forth with a wrong does not prove a right. I know President Trump is under a lot of stress, maybe she caught him in a bad time. Speak to Your Davis’s (DJT) spirit if You see there is a forgiveness that can be done. Marjorie has been dilegent in her position to support, Jesus heal this moment in time. I place this turmoil in Your hands, Jes, speak to the Father. I thank you and Praise You for all of the great things You do. Praying for both side of this and Marjorie did give very high support to our President. I declare and bind the evilness that the devil presented at this time.
