I Prayed

In these recent times, many intercessors have become discouraged. If that’s you, beloved, I want to speak a word of strength, HOPE, and courage to you today.
First, it’s human to get discouraged when we don’t see God move the way we thought He would. Proverbs 13:12 says this can happen:
“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.”
However, just because it can happen doesn’t mean it’s the will of God.
Just because it’s the human thing to get discouraged or tired doesn’t mean we should. Why? Because, in Christ, we are not merely human anymore at all! We may live in a fleshly earth-suit that we call a body, but on the inside we are filled with Christ Jesus Himself! We are alive in Him; in Him we live, and move, and have our being; and the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead DWELLS IN YOU!
My friend, the power of the Lord is in you. And the word of the Lord is to you today:
- RISE UP and be healed.
- Rise up and be courageous.
- Don’t be discouraged anymore;
- PRAY and believe God more than you ever have prayed and believed Him before!
It is not God’s will for you to be discouraged—for you to be stripped of your courage. No, God says, “Be strong and courageous!” As He says in Joshua 1:9:
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
And in Deuteronomy 31:6:
“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”
As well as Jeremiah 1:8:
“’Do not be afraid of their faces, for I am with you to deliver you,’ says the Lord.”
Precious intercessor, take up your watch again:
- Fall back on your knees in strength!
- Lift up those prayers to Heaven with passion and power again!
- Be strong and of good courage, for the Lord your God is with you!
Our God hears, and our God answers—and He will not in any way let us down, now or ever!
The Spirit God is shouting His strength into your heart right now. I hear Him shouting Psalm 119:32 into you, which says:
“I will run the course of Your commandments, for You shall enlarge my heart.”
God is enlarging your heart right now. As you read these Scriptures right now, the precious power of God’s Holy Spirit is filling you once again. Times of refreshing in the presence of the Lord are falling into your heart and enveloping you right now.
My friend, God needs you as His intercessor on the earth. It is not His will that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
His Kingdom must still come, and His will must still be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Only He can do these things; only He can help us now—but only He has been able to help us ever.
Our position has not changed. Your prayer assignment has not changed. Your watchpost has not changed. You are still called by God to be an intercessor!
And God’s plans for America have not changed:
- Righteousness and justice are still the foundations of His throne. It is still His will to bring righteousness and justice.
- Righteous and lawful government is still His will for America.
- It is still His will for the plots of the wicked to return on their own heads.
- It is still His will for us to be able to worship Him freely, without fear of reprisal or persecution.
- It is still His will to bring peace and revival to this land!
But beloved, God needs you to fill your piece of His Kingdom plan:
- He needs you, praying on the rampart.
- He needs you, praying during your prayer watch.
- He needs you fasting and praying for America, as you have for so many years.
God is not finished with America. His plans are still the same; He alone knows the end from the beginning, and He alone knows what every step along the way will look like.
But through this journey, WE—all of the intercessors, including you—have to pray for our great nation; pray for all leaders and people in authority; and believe God that He, and He alone, will save America and bring revival again. It is our prayers that make the difference; our prayers that turn the tide and give God permission to move here in this world that He has delegated to mankind to steward (Psalm 115:16).
Will you pray with me today, asking the Lord to strengthen both your heart AND the hearts of the other intercessors for America around the world?
Let’s pray together:
“Father God, in Jesus’ name, I thank You for this opportunity to believe You. Your Word says that in everything we should give thanks, for this is the will of God for us. So I thank You today, Father:
- I thank You that You work everything out for the good of the righteous.
- I thank You that You are alive and doing well, and You are listening and moving even when we cannot see it.
- I thank You that You are still working in America, and that the nations exist for Your pleasure.
Father God, in Jesus’ name, I ask right now that You would command strength into the heart of every intercessor. Make us like the fire horses of old, Lord, who stood at their post next to the fire even when their skin got burned off. Make us that faithful, Lord. Even when we feel raw and uncertain, Lord, form Your faithfulness, Your steadfastness, and Your courage in us more than You ever have before.
Lord, we ask You to enlarge our hearts to run right now:
- We claim Your promise which says that we WILL run the course of Your commandments, for You SHALL enlarge our hearts.
- We pray in Jesus’ name that You would give every intercessor the courage to get up and pray.
- Give us the strength to pray with power.
- Give us wisdom to know what to pray, how to pray, and when to pray it.
- Pray through us the heart of the Father right now, precious Holy Spirit;
- and baptize us again in Your Spirit, Your power, Your fire, and Your glory.
Father, as Your first apostles prayed in agreement when they were persecuted, so we pray in agreement and in one accord with Acts 4:24-31 now:
“Lord, You are God, who made heaven and earth and the sea, and all that is in them, who by the mouth of Your servant David have said:
‘Why did the nations rage, and the people plot vain things? The kings of the earth took their stand, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord and against His Christ.’
“For truly against Your holy Servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose determined before to be done.
Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.”
And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.”
So Father, just as Your first apostles asked, we also ask today that You would give us this nation for Christ.
We ask that people everywhere would be convicted to pray and to preach Your gospel. And as we do, Father, we ask that You would work with us, confirming Your Word with signs and wonders and miracles; that Jesus Christ would be lifted up in America and on the earth, and that You would draw all men to Yourself.
Thank You, Father. Thank You for shaking us again. Thank You for shaking the places where we are praying. Thank You for filling us with Your power, boldness, and wisdom again. Thank You for bearing us up on eagle’s wings; for sitting in Your heavens and laughing at Your enemies; and for roaring over us like the Lion of Judah You are.
Thank You, Father. Thank You, Jesus; and thank You, precious Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ mighty, holy, and matchless name we pray, amen.”
Beloved intercessor, this is your finest hour. Rise up and pray. Be relentless in prayer, in fasting, and in the speaking of God’s Word over this nation. This land is God’s land, and it shall return to Him in Spirit and in truth.

Well, praise God! I have just prayed all the above, BELIEVING that God has heard our prayers and we had
better “batten down the hatches” because our heavenly Father loves America, and though we may be shaken by
what we see happening in so many cities, and in our capitol, God is till able to bring forth His justice,
His mercy, and His plans for America.
I am so very thankful for this article from Jamie, and it brought joy, comfort, peace and great hope in my

The Lord has not released me from my intercession position and station for the President and our nation. I have not been swayed nor moved by the outcome of the election. I will continue to pray. I will not be moved! My feet are on solid ground! June Toal
Thank you, June. This comment and your previous one (letter to Sen. Toomey) are strengthening my heart. I also received his letter, but my reaction was different from yours. Your reaction weeks to be based on a Kingdom calling to pray. My heart is not so pure. (I pause here to examine deep thoughts that express my heart condition.) I react to existential circumstances more than you. I conclude, for present purposes, that it is good to pray, whatever the motivation. My mental framework has been carried forward through more than five decades from four plus years in U.S. military. There we learned to salute the uniform, not the person wearing it, even if we knew the person to be unworthy. I am undergoing repentance from past things because all are new as we stand on the threshold of the Third Great Awakening.

Here is a response I sent to Senator Toomey today that may encourage you all.
I really appreciate the time and effort your office took to reply to my pleas to the Senators in the swing states for President Trump. God is the God of this nation and I will continue to pray for our President Biden as diligently as I did for President Trump. I am praying that our government does not fall into socialism and will still be one nation under God. I am praying for Biden and Harris to make personal commitments to serve God through the salvation of Jesus Christ so God can effectively turn Biden’s head this way and that for His good and His purposes. May the God of all peace rule in their hearts and their families as the Lord has called President Biden to this position as such a time as this. God is sovereign and His will be accomplished. So I am diligently praying for them. God is still in control and we as a nation need to come together and allow the plans of the Lord to unfold with this administration. God is the one who appoints leaders and the Lord has a plan for all of us. So we walk in faith praying for our leaders and legislators to rule with humility and grace as the Lord has called us to lead. May the love of God envelope the president and his administration, and may the Holy Spirit lead you all for all of us!! I will not be troubled or dismayed by the outcome of the election. It surely didn’t go as I expected, but God always has a plan and it’s never what we want. It’s always what He wants and ordains. I also am a patriot and will never stop praying for you all. May the Lord continue to lead me and pray effectively for you all. I appreciate your service and I pray for justice for those lives who were lost. What happened was an atrocity and a total disrespect of the office of the president and democrats who were targeted. I was grieved to hear what the mob mentality did. Dear Heavenly Father again I pray that you deliver this nation from the evil that has descended upon it. Expose the wicked who have hijacked this nation and destroy their network of lies and corruption. Open the eyes of those who would know the truth, and separate us from those who refuse to see the truth or who seek to suppress it. Let us suffer their lies, thievery, and bullying no more. Sandra, thank you for courage to address this abomination called abortion! My soul has been in agony knowing what was and is coming with America’s new administration. But we, who are called by His name, are accessories after the fact, for in accordance with 2 Chronicles 7:14, we have not turned from our wicked ways. Nature abhors a vacuum and as the Church withdrew, the dark satanic forces have filled the void. Yet I have not heard a call from the Church to repent. Jonathon Cahn held a one-day call for repentance in an event called The Return several weeks ago at the Capital Mall. Franklin Graham led a prayer march on the Capital Mall the same day. But apparently we still have not touched the heart of God for He has not healed our Land. The Holy Spirit is challenging me to truly repent, turn from my wicked, slothful way of sharing Him with my world. It is amazing how much wickedness the Spirit has illuminated in my heart the past few weeks. I have been pleading with Him in tears to “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” Psalms 51:10 To Him be glory, Amen.
Vindicate your servant oh God for in you we put our trust. Deliver us from our enemies from those who make a mockery of faith. Deal with us as you deem fitting but do not let those who hate us say where is their God? Have mercy and do what only you can do.

We know as we are told in Romans 8:28 that God works for the good of those who love Him. He has called us to be intercessors for our great country founded in faith and love for God. Stay the course knowing He keeps His promises and He hears us from Heaven! We can take Him at His word for He is good and He will heal our land!
As the word says we are commanded I pray and believe in answers…

The first day in office the new president signed into law more sweeping abortion money for other nations! This on the first day this is his sacrificial gift to the power of darkness for getting him elected. It’s starting again a billion baby’s have been aborted worldwide and we wonder why a plague is killing us worldwide. Please wake up and become not only prayer warriors but people who share this truth with others. Open eyes and ears. Jesus will heal this land when we repent.

Father God Almighty, we are discouraged, disappointed, and angered at the corruption in our nation. As we cry out, hear us Lord, and gently hold us and help us pray through our groaning just as you did with David.

Lord God Almighty, the Lord of the Armies of Heaven, I thank you for the power of the blood of Yeshua, Jesus, over all witchcraft and occult.
I thank you that here in Jerusalem, in 2004, after four years of suicide bombings killing hundreds of innocent victims… as we were crying out to you to bring that injustice to an end, You revealed that we should pray that the occult shield of protection would be taken away from the main Islamic leader calling for the suicide bombings.
After a dramatic answer, the voice of that Islamic terrorist leader was silenced. There were no more successful suicide bus bombings after that day.
So Lord God Almighty, the Lord of the Armies of Heaven, we come before You now covered by the blood of Yeshua, we and our families.
We proclaim over the worldwide systems of evil seeking to take control in America and in the nations:
Let the occult shields of protection be taken away from everyone involved in theft, fraud, and corruption. May their occult shields of protection no longer be able to hide them from being exposed by the light.
Let witchcraft manipulation be brought to an end in and over the Congress, Senate, the White House, the Supreme Court, the FBI, the CIA, the Department of Justice, and over state executives, courts and legislatures, and over election integrity.
As Joshua and Caleb proclaimed to the Hebrews intimidated by the giants, we say to all who are intimidated by today’s giants,

Thank you for the words of encouragement!! The enemy has not won!!! I truly believe that there is still corruption and fraud that has to be revealed before God will turn things around. Just because God doesn’t act on man’s timeline does not mean He isn’t going to act! I believe that God is going to answer our prayers for the truth to be known and the corruption to be uncovered. I believe He has heard our prayers! I believe He will honor the requests of those who love Israel, who detest the murder of our babies, who are pleading for a revival and to bring us back to “one nation under God”! Keep standing, keep praying, keep watching for His miracle, keep loving and encouraging! And don’t despair because Pence didn’t turn over the electoral college and Trump appears to have lost the election. I don’t think God wants us to put our hope in any man. I believe when God acts, and He will act, everyone will have to say that God and God alone has accomplished this!! Praise His Holy Name!!

to righteously believe;

on earth, as it is in heaven.
