LGBT ‘Pride’ Group Cancels Festival
LGBT ‘Pride’ Group Cancels Festival
Following several anti-grooming bills signed by Gov. DeSantis, a Florida group has canceled its planned “Pride” festival.
From Breitbart. The Tampa Pride on the River event has been canceled due to the series of anti-groomer bills passed by the Florida legislature and signed into law by Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), which in part imposes penalties on establishments that expose children to sexually explicit drag shows and similar adult performances.

DeSantis recently signed a series of anti-groomer legislation designed to protect children from the radical left’s woke gender agenda, which includes pushing transgender ideology and gender confusion on minors. One of the pieces of legislation signed is titled the “Protection of Children,” or HB 1438, which imposes fines on establishments that allow children to attend sexually explicit adult shows, such as drag shows. …
As a result, Tampa Pride President Carrie West recently told outlets that their festival has been canceled, apologizing for the series of events that led to that decision, as there would be drag queens performing at the public event, which children would be easily exposed to as last year’s event occurred along the river walk. As a result, participating businesses could face penalties. …
The legislation itself authorizes the Division of Hotels and Restaurants of the Department of Business and Professional Regulation to “fine, suspend, or revoke the license of any public lodging establishment or public food service establishment if the establishment admits a child to an adult live performance,” per the bill’s text. The DeSantis administration has identified drag shows as falling into the adult show category. …

Yes I am truly encouraged by this news and decision of Ron DeSantis. I am so glad he is the governor of Florida because my grandson lives there. Thank you , thank you Lord , for Governor DeSantis making these decisions to protect the children from sexually explicit events. I praise
you Lord for answering this prayer
to cancel this Tampa Pride event. ✝️✝️✝️
I stopped shopping at Target when their adds depicted families with same sex partners. I celebrate how God created us.
Praise to God that he is using intelligent men and women to proclaim God’s presence and purpose in his creation.
I’ll just say, if there was no reprobate behavior going on, there would have been no need to cancel the event. I don’t think i need to say more.
Lord, thank You for the canceling of this “Pride” event! Keep children from exposure to these diabolical drag shows, God!
Lord, thank you for raising up a political leader who is able to get legislation passed which pauses the cultural take over of this country of dark forces!
Thank You Jesus! Amen.
Yes!
Hallelujah! Thank you, Jesus, for this victory & for the courage of Florida legislators & DeSantis!!
Yes I am encouraged by this news and I applaud Governor DeSantis for passing this bill. He is a blessing to Florida! I pray for him to continue to honor the Lord in his decision making. Thank you Lord!!! I pray and believe that Florida continues to need him and his policy making and governing. Protect him and his family and his leadership, and the people who are helping him to lead. Let the people of Florida rise up to help and support him. In Jesus’ name I pray. And I pray for the ones who were devastated by the last hurricane and still need help to get back on their feet, the ones who lost their homes and cars. Help them to rebuild, restore, replace, and start anew.🙏✝️
Thank you LORD for everything, protecting the young children’s they minds and heart, and they’re seeing, thinking this is right, before they get Up to adults ages, We will continue to fight on Our knees and Heart for Your truesome and Just and righteousness heart in Jesus name Amen
We praise and thank our Great God for this outcome in Florida, the passage of legislation to protect children from adult predators and all who prayed that this event would be canceled.
This is an answer to prayer! We all need the courage to do what is right and not be afraid to say and act against evil! Protect our children and our families and our culture! Florida needs to be duplicated in every state!
AMEN!!! Yes, bring it to Georgia!!!
Thank you Lord God Almighty ! May your perfect justice prevails not only in America but also in the world.
Praise God!! So encouraged. Keep on praying. They can’t hide from God’s glory!!
Praise you, Jesus! We pray for protection and continued courage and wisdom on Governor DeSantis and other state leaders who are not afraid of standing against the evil one and his tactics. Thank you for all the victories and answered prayers of the remnant who are faithful to your word.
This is wonderful news!! Praise God for brave men and women who fight for protection of our children!
I pray that IFA and all who know The Lord our God, shall come to address our Lord God as “Lord our God”, or similar, rather than beginning prayers with “God”, which seems inappropriate to me, since we KNOW that “God” seems to be more of a description of what our Lord is, rather than than His name. With all the Names of God, in Scripture, should we not, at very least, begin our prayers with “Lord our God”, or “Father God”, etc.? To begin a prayer with “God,” – seems to be akin to calling a person by their “description”, rather than by their name, as in “man” instead of, say – David, or “woman” instead of, say – Mary, or “God”, instead of Father God, or Jesus our Lord God, etc. Just a thought.
Actually God is His title. He has many names. Yahweh is his real name. But I don’t think He minds it if we call Him God. He has never corrected me. Oh what love.
Praise God! Now all other states will follow Desantis lead of these parades that are full of perversion, confusion, mind control and demonic activity released in the atmosphere.
Lord I pray that other states follow in canceling Pride and Transgender anything. Lord protect our children in Jesus name. I’m here in Massachusetts and our Governor is a lesbian God help her and help her turn from her wicked ways and turn to You in Jesus name. Nothing is impossible for You oh Lord.

Psalm 143:1
A Psalm of David.
Hear my prayer, O Lord,
Give ear to my supplications!
Answer me in Your faithfulness, in Your righteousness!
Dear Heavenly Father, this perverse “festival” has been cancelled because of man’s law, this is good. But I am praying You WILL cancel the celebration of perversity in America, this is best. I pray what we see in Florida is a preview of what WILL BE in this nation. Please open eyes Lord. Please cover this sin with shame. Please draw all the confused and corrupt to cry out to You in distress. Only You can heal hearts such as these. I pray in the Name of Jesus Christ, our Perfect Savior. Amen
Lord, thank you for the boldness of Governor DeSantis to stand for your kingdom and righteousness. Let the enemy go running as ALL BELIEVERS stand boldly and lift up your standard and your word!
Thank you Lord Jesus that this evil is being exposed!
Lord, thank you answering prayer in the Tampa area. Now we ask that the boldness of God-fearing men and women, and Godly leadership will spread throughout our country. We pray for souls to repent and turn from their wicked ways. In Jesus name, Amen!
