Planned Parenthood receives millions from taxpayers every year, despite killing countless babies and endangering vulnerable women. With Republicans in control of the House, Senate, and White House, will this subsidization of evil finally come to an end?
From Daily Caller. Pro-life lawmakers from across the country are demanding that Congress put an end to federal funding for Planned Parenthood, calling on Republicans to use their ātrifectaā in Washington.
Who is praying on the wall?
TheĀ letter, sent to Senate Majority Leader John Thune, House Speaker Mike Johnson, Idaho Senator Mike Crapo and Kentucky Rep. Brett Guthrie and signed by 183 legislators, urges Republican leadership to include a measure toĀ defundĀ āBig Abortionā in the budget reconciliation bill, which is scheduled for markups on Tuesday. Planned ParenthoodĀ rakes inĀ tens of millions from taxpayers every year, according to its annual reports, while performing about 400,000 abortions between 2021 and 2022.
āAs pro-life state legislators from across the country who are members of the National Pro-Life Leaders Network, we are deeply concerned with the way that big abortion businesses like Planned Parenthood prey on unborn children and hurt women, all while receiving hundreds of millions of dollars from American taxpayers,ā the letter, first shared with the Daily Caller News Foundation, reads. āWith a Republican trifecta in Washington, it is time to use the budget reconciliation process to defund big abortion providers like Planned Parenthood.ā
The letter also cites several cases of botched abortions that have occurred at Planned Parenthood and deteriorating conditions at the clinics that hadĀ disastrous results. In one case, a baby was never removed from a womanās womb, and the woman later gave birth to the child who quickly passed away,Ā according to The New York Times. …

I worked at PP when I was a kid. Young and unknowing, I asked God to forgive me for the time i spent doing “intake”. I know He has forgiven me. I am in constant prayer for the total and complete end to this organization.

It is about time for this con game that is Planned P – that they claim to want to help pregnant women, but only give them the grief of their unborn dead children. Oh, and what about the concern of fathers? In our society, they do not get a say in this matter. Because of this, my childhood friend wanted to marry his beloved, came together with her prior to their wedding, and his beloved went and had an abortion without my friend’s consent. He was SO VERY grieved about the murder of his child that he took his life!

You bring up some very important points. Additionally, among women who have had abortions, studies show 35% of them had attempted suicide.
Women have been lied to so egregiously by Planned Parenthood and the Left, the tragedies just multiply exponentially.
Thankfully, we now finally have a President and a Republican leadership that understands the killing must stop.

This is an encouraging development indeed! It is high time that our government discontinues giving millions of dollars to an evil group that encourages women to have abortions. Lord Jesus, You know the outcome of this proposed legislation before it even happens. I pray that the legislators who will vote on this will be sensitive to the leading of Holy Spirit in their voting upon this bill. Thank you Jesus.
I agree with the prayers of the intercessors below. NO more taxpayer funded abortion clinics! Lord, we know that abortions were done before the establishment of Planned Parenthood. “Safety” was one of the big reasons touted for bringing it out of seedy back alley “clinics” and making it easily available. So much for that pipe dream! If you place yourself under the “care” of someone willing to murder your baby, why would you assume they “care” about your life? You cannot disobey Torah – thou shall not murder – and be safe. So, YHVH, please continue to transform lives and replace that spirit of death with a Spirit of Life through salvation and deliverance. Heart and mind change as well as defunding is necessary.

No one should ever be forced to support financially something that they do not agree with or choose to enable. Government should not coerce individuals into financially giving to things they do not wish to support. If legal, which is questionable and recently deemed illegal, but many things even if legal, should be privately funded by people who choose to spend their money in that way. Again, it should be illegal to force us as individuals to pay for things we do not want to pay for. American freedom – we support the causes we choose to support through our own funds – not taxes which should “provide for the common defense and secure our borders.” very little should be the purview of government. We (our country) was founded on the right of the individual for self determination – our God given inalienable rights. Dear LORD, I believe as funding is stopped, Planned Parenthood will be filled with dread. And just as they have filled this nation with decay, I believe any memory of them will rot away because they will be no more. I believe Jesusās words and praise His Name over every prayer and effort offered in defense of the unborn and for the mothers who are considering abortion as well.
