Senator Alex Padilla (D-CA) was arrested recently for, according to The National Pulse, interrupting a news conference. In this conference, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was addressing the recent anti-ICE riots when Senator Padilla interrupted with shouts. The Senator was eventually dragged out of the room by Secret Service agents before being arrested.
Brad Lander, New York City Comptroller and Democratic mayoral candidate, was likewise arrested for holding on to an illegal immigrant that federal agents were actively attempting to arrest.
Ras J. Baraka, Mayor of Newark, was arrested at a what The National Pulse calls a “disorderly protest” outside of an ICE detention center. He was reportedly released only five hours after his arrest.
New Jersey Representative LaMonica R. McIver was arrested and subsequently indicted for assaulting federal agents at the same protest Baraka was arrested at. Interestingly, Representative McIver reportedly assaulted the agents while trying to block the arrest of Baraka.
Lastly, Milwaukee County Judge Hannah Dugan was arrested for and charged with felony obstruction of justice. As IFA covered at the time, she allegedly helped a man avoid being arrested by immigration authorities.
These are just a few of the high-profile arrests of officials and lawmakers we’ve seen. As protests continue around the nation, however, we’re bound to see more. Let’s pray for an end to lawlessness in our nation!

I pray that the Trump administration would have wisdom regarding deportation of immigrants. Help them k ow who needs to go and who deserves a chance or needs to stay. Help us as a country discern Those who would be harmed by returning to their native countries who are here legally. If Trump and ICE are not giving people their rights please fix that and help us follow the laws and be compassionate towards people. I don’t want Criminals or terrorists here so Lord please help our country do the right thing and treat people right. I pray for the pastors wife who was deported to Mexico that she could come back and be with her family and for any others who have been mistakenly deported or mistreated. Lord we need your discernment and wisdom. You have given the Trump administration wisdom and grace in many situations so please help them with this.
God protect the ICE agents as they carry out their duty. May those who resist like the lawmakers get godly conviction that what they are doing is wrong. In Jesus’ name.
The opening prayer above by IFA referred to our “elected officials”. I believe many of these people were fraudulently and corruptly voted in through all kinds of cheating. Therefore, Heavenly Father of all truth and honor, reveal and remove more and more of these wicked people from our government. I pray they have divine visitation from Your Holy Spirit and repent, calling on the name of the Lord unto salvation. Amen
