Violence against law enforcement has ramped up. ICE Agents in Los Angeles have been targeted over the last months. In Idaho, firefighters were killed, and several were injured while responding to a fire, later revealed as arson, set up to ambush them. Three deputies were killed in California during an explosion last week that is under investigation. Most recently in Idaho, three officers were shot while they were parked and eating on a lunch break. Those who have accepted the call to keep order in our nation are under attack. Let’s come together and shield our law enforcement. (These prayers can also be applied to firefighters and ICE agents.)
Join others crying out to the Lord day and night.
- Pray for a hedge of protection around all law enforcement.
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, “You are my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust (Psalm 91:1-2)
- Pray for angelic assistance and deliverance from all evil, and that every plan to kill, steal, and destroy be foiled.
For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.
They will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone (Psalm 91:11-12).
- Pray for wisdom for all law enforcement. Whatever they do, wherever they go, they will be led by the Lord before acting.
Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it.”
Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left (Isaiah 30:21).
- Pray against a spirit of fear that would try to paralyze officers from fulfilling their duty and release the peace of God over them.
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27).
- Pray and break off heaviness and anxiety over all law enforcement and ICE agents.
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls (Matthew 11:28-29).
- Pray for the protection of families and homes of law enforcement and agents.
If you make the LORD your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter,
No evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home (Psalm 91:9-10).
- Pray that law enforcement will be reminded of their purpose. What they do is not just helpful to us but pleasing to God.
For the LORD is righteous; He loves justice. The upright will see His face (Psalm 11:7).
We are commanded in scripture to pray for all in authority (see 1 Timothy 2:1-4). He asks us to submit to human authority and honor them. Submission and honoring those in authority are not popular in today’s society. Younger generations are being taught to dishonor all authority, especially those who enforce the law.
- Pray that the spiritual blindness of the younger generations may be removed. They need an encounter with Jesus.
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26).
A nation without law and order will descend into greater darkness and lawlessness.
- Pray there will be no shortage of law enforcement. Ask God to multiply the righteous.
When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan (Proverbs 29:2)

Democrats are egging on attacks against law enforcement as well as their families. They know that a couple killed officers would rev up their malignant base and want it to happen. This is a party that endorses the death by torture of babies via saline solutions and vacuuming devices so to them, what’s a couple dead cops if it’s fits their narrative. The subhuman vileness of this democrat party, including ALL in the Senate and House is a stain on the soul of this nation. And a vote for them is a vote for
pure evil. I fear the judgement of God on this nation for allowing these people to hold political office. There is no way around it. The democrats are modern day nazis.
Gloria, we stand in agreement with your excellent prayer points – you covered the bases well! YHVH, please be The shield our first responders need in this evil day! Our land has become Torah-less – lawlessness has taken root, sprouted, produced and spread – and we are eating the bitter fruit. Of course, those targeted first would be those who uphold the civil “law” of the land, but the righteous will also be targeted, and already have been. May this spur them to seek You diligently, so that their eternal destiny will be everlasting life through Yeshua Your Son. May the wicked and rebellious see their sin, and repent, or receive the just reward for their deeds.
1Timothy 1:8-11a We know that the Torah is good, provided one uses it in the way the Torah itself intends. We are aware that Torah is not for a person who is righteous, but for those who are heedless of Torah and rebellious, ungodly and sinful, wicked and worldly, for people who kill their fathers and mothers, for murderers, the sexually immoral—both heterosexual and homosexual—slave dealers, liars, perjurers, and anyone who acts contrary to the sound teaching that accords with the Good News of the glorious and blessed God.
There were three officers killed this week in Lorain Ohio. One officer died leaving a wife and three small children under five. It was an ambush. He knew Jesus, yet the heartbreak for his lovely wife has to be almost unbearable (but God)! Pray a protection covering around our military, first responders, police, sheriffs, highway patrol, etc. May God give them the peace they need and the wisdom and knowledge to do their jobs.
Our trustworthy Father in heaven, great is your faithfulness, we feed on your faithfulness!! Today we lift up our agents for immigration, our first responders and all keepers of the Peace. We plead the blood of Jesus over those who are our defenders and our peacekeepers. We recognize that it’s not by might nor by power but by your spirit that you have said so father we declare that the truth of these things become manifest in America because you watch over your word to perform it we declare your word boldly especially in the presence of our enemies. We commit every single immigration agent peacekeeper first responder to your care and protection. We call for the angelic army assigned to America to assist in these matters we call for their Divine assistance protection and provision to be made manifest. Father were asking that there would be sightings of these highly sophisticated dually equipped agents to be seen and reported sightings. Cause the enemies of God to recognize that they need to stop and respect the law of our land. In Jesus name, amen.

I will hold you up with My victorious right hand.” You instruct us to come boldly to Your throne because You are our gracious God and we will receive Your mercy… we will find grace to help us when we need it most. In the Name of Jesus Christ, I am asking for You to look upon our law enforcement officers and their families and not only to protect them but draw each one into a loving relationship with You. You say, “trust Me and I will help you.” They desperately need Your help LORD and I am praying Your words of truth. Lord Father thank you for protecting these men and women who walk willingly into this profession to help and save lives! Keep them Oh God from hurt, harm and danger. Bless all family members of those who were loss!
Dearest Heavenly Father: We pray for all of our First Responders Police, Fire, EMS, Doctors and Nurses, Military and even 911 Call center Operators. People that rush in when others run away, that witness horribleness and the inhumanity of man every day, and that take up their cross daily and attempt to do your will and your work. Bless them and all their family members. Keep them Strong and Courageous. Give them your Favor and Strength to keep doing what is right and good in your sight. Help America to understand that it is a plan of the devil to impose lawlessness on our society, but we know Father that you ALONE are in charge. We pray YOUR WILL over our nation, over every situation that presents itself and over all of our First Responders. Help our youth to be troubled in their sleep even as they envision what it would truly be like to not have laws or rules and help them turn away from seeking that for their futures. You are a God of Love but also of order not chaos. We know you are faithful and that your word and your will WILL PREVAIL. We thank you Savior for every protection and blessing. We give you all Glory, Honor, Power and PRAISE for you alone are WORTHY TO BE PRAISED.

Lord, we bind the spirits of violence & disrespect that cover our land. We lose PEACE & a change of hearts & minds to one of honor, respect & restraint, in Jesus’ name! AMEN!
