As the controversial Ketanji Brown Jackson confirmation hearing continue, the Supreme Court nominee has faced scrutiny for her support of CRT. Some have called this a conflict of interests of sorts, as one cannot support both the U.S. Constitution and a theory that abhors it.
From Breitbart. Keisha Toni Russell, a constitutional lawyer at First Liberty Institute, testified Thursday in opposition of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s nomination for the Supreme Court, arguing that her support of critical race theory means she would not be able to uphold the Constitution if she believes it is racist.
“Every lawyer and judge promises to defend and protect the U.S. Constitution, but she cannot uphold this oath if she believes that the Constitution and the principles of America’s foundation are racist and inherently flawed. Neither can a judge remain impartial and administer justice independently if she holds a philosophy that correcting racism requires affording privileged classes less justice than oppressed classes,” Russell said in her opening statement.
She continued, “Ultimately, a judge should consider America’s history as a lesson and a blueprint for why and how we must constantly seek to uphold and protect America’s founding promises. For these reasons First Liberty has concerns about Judge Jackson’s jurisprudence and First Liberty cannot support her nomination.”
Jackson is a member of the Board of Trustees for Georgetown Day School, which has embraced critical race theory (CRT), as reported by Breitbart News’s Emma-Jo Morris and Breccan Thies….
“CRT proponents claim that America was founded—and the Constitution was drafted—to promote racism and slavery,” she argued. “Ultimately, we cannot expect a critical race theorist to defend and protect the Constitution, because CRT asserts that the Constitution is not worth defending….”
“CRT does not consider how cultural upbringing, mindsets, or family and community involvement can change the trajectory of people’s lives and ultimately address the racial disparities that exist in our society. CRT does not acknowledge that regardless of the struggles that people face in life, we are all individually responsible for the lives we live and the success we attain. Instead, CRT makes race the predominant relevant factor,” she said.
“A judge must maintain independence and the integrity of the law. To do so, she must acknowledge that people are responsible for their actions, despite the racism or setbacks they may have experienced, and that people deserve justice even if CRT defines them as ‘privileged,’” she said.

This canidate is grossly anti-American and I am totally against her becoming a Supreme Court Justice.
That liberal-socialist, beast of the earth MUST be kept out of the SCOTUS At all costs ! Her so-called “track record” is a testimony of how she will endeavor to make sure individuals of her genre’ will be given special considerations and leniencies. Like Hawkins who received a virtual
“slap on the wrist” by Jackson for his transgressions. Plus she supports “CRT” which is absolutely anti-constitutional.

You cannot serve two masters, and CRT is anti-Christian, anti-God, and would invalidate the Constitutional beliefs of the U.S. How could she judge fairly if her belief system is so flawed? My concern also is letting people out of prison’s early who killed so many Americans in the 9-ll attacks and who are now running Afghanistan. What about her belief and support of killing babies up to birth? She, like all of us, will have to answer to these accusations on Judgment Day, but do we really want someone who has these anti-American beliefs serving on the Supreme Court of the land and judging others? Judge Jackson should not be nominated as a Supreme Court justice. I listen to the Senate hearings and I thought she wasn’t Transparent at all. Her sentencing records on child pornography and pedophilia should be an outrage to every single American. Her beliefs in CRT undermines our Constitution. She can’t even define what a woman is and she was unprepared. She should not be on the Supreme Court and I hope and pray that her confirmation is denied.

I pray that IFA and others would lead an ACTION email effort to send calls and letters to the Senate to vote against Ms. Jackson. I agree with First Liberty Institute lawyer Ms. Russell that any candidate, such as Ms. Jackson, who thinks the Constitution is racist is unfit for service on ANY court and should be opposed. I thank God that IFA has provided, in its Jackson Prayer Resource, the names of the Judiciary Committee who will vote on this before it goes to the full Senate. I pray that people will use that resource to pray and to send letters. God bless America!
As a person of color, I do acknowledge there is a history of racism in the United States and some other countries. BUT… CRT isn’t the way to go. In fact, it only further widens the divide between us Christians and citizens of the the United States. It isn’t just at the law school level. Right this very moment, in Wisconsin there is a public school policy that eliminates White kids from being able to file a report on being discriminated against. They aren’t a “protected” group, in CRT. I’m interacially married. I have relatives who are actually a minority in their school as White kids, and the school system’s adopted CRT policy excludes them from something that is actually happening to them.
This also means if a person on the Supreme Court who believes firmly in CRT, that means there will also be a strong bias against White people and other nonprotected parties (straight people, White men and women when the other party is “protected”, Christians of ALL races when the other party is “protected”).
And because CRT is as slippery a slope as it gets, when will they move to the next level once precedent is set?
I’m not even talking about her protecting terrorists and pedophiles… just her not protecting the Constitution.

We are supposed to pray for those in authority that we may live a peaceful life! If you’re bias then how can one judge on the side of justice? She’s also light on criminals that are pedophiles. Who is protecting our children, if you are more for the criminal concerning our children!!! This is not about color! I believe Judge Jackson could not be a fair representative. Mainly because she gave no clear answers for the majority of the questions she was asked. I also find it wrong that the democrats got information they withheld from the republicans. I believe she should not be the next Supreme Court Judge. It would be a travesty for the United States.

Her statement about what history can and does affect can be misleading about her agreement with CRT. Could we pray that no slanted or half truth be said, but what she really believes so the public knows the real truth, with no compromise, of what she believes?

I heard this woman’s argument at the hearings and agree wholeheartedly, but my question is did anyone of the senators question Judge Brown about CRT? I did not see all of the hearings and what I did see CRT was not mentioned by the senators. If that is true, why didn’t anyone of the senators raise the question on her position on CRT? Could our senators be so afraid or ignorant of her position on CRT? This seems to me a very significant question that needs to be asked.

There are too many people that claim CRT. History (which is not taught in our schools today) states the constitution was written with God’s guidance by our Founding Fathers. The constitution has been amended and changed so nothing is as it was originally written.
Who in their right mind would say they cannot give a definition of Woman? What definition does she give for herself? If Jackson cannot recognize gender, how could she possibly know what issues are important?
Personally I don’t think Jackson is a good choice or fit for the Supreme Court. I am praying God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
That question to define a woman, in my opinion was a trap. With Congress pretending to be gender neutral and laws allowing men to identify as women, it would have created even more controversy had she answered the question. Although, she could easily define a woman using positive adjectives rather than body parts.
It is my sincere prayer that Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson WILL NOT be nominated for the next Supreme Court Justice. It has been obvious from the Senate hearings that she is Anti-Constitution of the United States, Anti-Woman (since she does not know how to define a woman), Anti-Life (she is clueless as to when life begins), and surely Anti-Christ. It’s time for the righteous to be in authority — as the Word proclaims, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked bears rule, the people mourn” (Proverbs 29:2).

I agree with Keisha Toni Russell that I can’t back Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s nomination to the Supreme Court because she is very lenient on pornographers and on child pornographers, along with her stance on critical race theory. This country was founded on religious liberty not on slavery or racism.

How can a Supreme Court Justice serve the most high court of our land and not believe in the Constitution of the United States of America? This is so absurd that it has even gotten to this level. I feel that Jackson’s support of CRT is a negative no matter who she is judging. Most of her answers to simple questions are troublesome but she sure fits in with Biden’s agenda. I thought the Constitution protected all people no matter what culture they are. If you mix CRT in, then there is some stereotyping involved. People will be judged more on their culture rather than what actually happened in their case.
The Constitution not only should, but does protect the rights of blacks just as it protects the rights of whites. The details of every case don’t have to be spelled out in the text for the principles to be there. The Constitution has been a great basis for law. We dare not dispense with it or change it.

I do see the issue of the people in government following party lines and not voting for the will of the people they represent. Let God arise and our enemies be scattered. This shows me we need to vote righteous people into government as so many are corrupt. I think we need to call and send emails to our representative as well as declare and decree DC is the district of Christ not the district of devils. There is a territorial taker climate in America. The truckers presently seem to be the ones crying out for justice and commonn DC . This is a war season like David running at Goliath, hitting him in the third eye area and cutting off his head. I declare and decree the new age demonic devils of the one world order are bound and the ecclesia will cut off the communication network of the demonic devils controlling many of our elected official. I most definitely agree that Jackson’s support of CRT is another dooming factor for her candidacy. But there’s a couple other major problems with her answers to her interviewers’ questions — answers that are equally disturbing.
She’s very soft on child pornography crimes. She doesn’t know when life begins. She doesn’t know when an unborn child can feel pain. She can’t even define what a woman is. She can’t even answer whether someone can change their race because they suddenly ‘identify’ with that other race, such as during her evasion of Sen. Cruz’s question about whether he could choose to identify as an Asian man in order to have sufficient standing to bring a racial discrimination case against Harvard University. She is the most confused and ignorant applicant for an open seat on the US Supreme Court that there has ever been. She has absolutely, absolutely no business being placed as a judge in the highest court in the land.

Everything Jackson stands for is contrary to what this country and our Constitution stand for and as such she cannot possible hold to her beliefs and also take the oath of office, which she has already done to secure her current position. Many people who have argued against CRT have not studied it to speak about it. We are going based on heresay. We as a nation have avoided all discussions of race and its place in history. It is sad that only persons of color get criticized on questions and responses about race but no one ask other candidates those questions or ask them palns to address issues of division.
Critical race theory is a real issue if you believe that the word of God is truth. Critical race theory is Marxist and is an antichrist teaching in nature and goes against the scripture of 2 Corinthians 10:3 and 4. Any theory that exalts itself against the knowledge of God is worthy of opposition. Critical race theory and the doctrines of BLM both are Marxist is origin. Hope you find this informative. CRT is not a good thing and probably one of the most damaging challenges to freedom and democracy the world has seen. Look up Ibram X Kendi, one of the strongest, loudest proponents of CRT to see what he believes. To teach 3-year-olds they’re racist because they were born white is no different than the rational that led to the Holocaust. We must pray fervently that such a thing never happens again against any group.
I did not like her explanations of why she gave less time in jail than suggested by the courts for child pornography. I also don’t like her CRT ideology. I pray she isn’t confirmed. If confirmed is she added as another female to the court or not since she couldn’t answer that question?

The CRT issue is important in evaluating Judge Jackson. But what gives me even greater pause is the child pornography case-sentencing leniency. To allow less than minimum sentencing for those involved in Child pornography only exacerbates the crime. Leniency from the court says to the abused children, the crimes committed against them were not that consequential. In addition the court is giving far too little value to the lives and far to little appreciation to the life long scars of those abused and victimized by child pornography. And unfortunately, the more children being victimized results in more perpetrators becoming part of our society. Because those who become victims often become the victimizers. President Biden is nominating someone for the Supreme Court who will fight more for child abusers and than for the abused. He would not say such, but the implication is apparent to me. Also, placing someone with her views on The SCOTUS will give more influence than just the cases before her. Lawyers from law schools to federal courts will be influenced by her views.
In addition, why would law officers spend the time investigating such cases, if only to have those who are convicted given less than minimum sentences? The incentive for all the time and effort to bring these cases is diminished.
What gives Judge Jackson the right to set aside Federal sentencing guidelines? Is she above Federal law?
Both in the issue of CRT and Child pornography cases, Judge Jackson has set aside the Constitution and the laws made under it’s authority. How can she take the vow to protect and defend without, at the same time, some reservations or redefinitions present in her mind, which were not in those of the framers?
My prayer is that our Senators will pray for guidance and think deeply about the implications of placing someone with Judge Jackson’s views on the bench. They have a grave decision to make and we pray for them to make the correct one.

WE must have justices that uphold the Constitution. I feel that she is not able to do this. If she can not even define the word “woman” she is not able to define the law. The Bible does teach us to hate evil (Psalm 97:10). The Word of God clearly teaches in Romans 1:26-32 that homosexuality is a horrible sin. According to 1st Corinthians 6:9-10, homosexuals will not be allowed into Heaven.
I believe the Constitution and added amendments to which all are created equal. I am now retired, but when I was employed, the person most qualified was promoted. No person should be denied a position because of race, color, creed, or natural origin. On the other hand, no person should be given a job for the same reason. It is reverse discrimination!
When I was employed, we were given a CBT (Computer Based Test). The Company was in favor of Affirmative Action ( the Gov’t’s first attempt to wrong a wrong). On this exam I was asked the question if I was in favor of Affirmative Action? and I answered no. I was called into a meeting to explain my answer. I proposed a hypothetical situation. If I was in charge of hiring or promotions and I had two individuals who were equally qualified in all areas for a position and they were of two different persuasions white/black, male/ female, whatever; I would call both parties into my office and explain, ” You are equally qualified in all areas, here is MY problem. If I pick one person, the other is going to be resentful. So I am going to let YOU pick who gets the job. You can flip a coin, cut cards, or whatever means you choose, but you make the choice so there will be no ramifications. The other person is first alternate.” The committee I was facing mumbled between themselves then dismissed me. I heard no more ramifications after that.

Any person, man or woman, who hesitates to an answer as cut and dry question about what a woman is, is too political for this position. Her correct and scientific answer to that question would’ve brought out all the progressives to attack her. If you listen to the questions asked, she kept dodging the questions and she seemed afraid to answer directly. She would not answer “yes or no” to “yes or no’ questions.

Her defensive manner of not wanting to answer certain questions and or lack of integrity caused me to question her ability to function in a role as a Justice on the Supreme Court , the highest office of the land.

At the present time Judge Brown is not someone I would like to see on the Supreme Court because of her strong support for abortion, her opposition to sidewalk counseling in the vicinity of abortion clinics, her leniency in sentencing persons guilty of child pornography, and the very valid objection to her support of CRT that could weaken her ability to render decisions consistent with the Constitution.
I remember that prior to her nomination one of your intercessors had a vision during prayer of a Black woman who had dust blocking her vision & then the dust being removed from her eyes. If the woman in this prayer warrior’s vision was indeed Judge Brown & if this vision is a true & accurate prophetic vision it would be a great victory for the Gospel of life over the culture of death and the attacks of the enemy if Judge Brown, who is hailed for her leftist views & is on the side of the enemy, experiences conversion as soon as she begins serving on the Supreme Court. It would be like GOD tricking the devil! The selection of Ms Jackson was not based on merit, integrity, justice, or character, but only on the qualifications being female & black. Race & gender should never determine a “Yes” vote. I say this because you can look at a law and say it has flaws without ignoring that it is the law and you have to go buy it. We as a society have to acknowledge that there are a lot of old laws on the books there are prejudicial against people but we obey the laws that are written. It is possible be able to disagree with aspects of the Constitution or think there are flaws that disagree with a modern day Society, so there can be an improvement in it but it is the Constitution so therefore until any changes are done that is what we will respect and uphold when it comes to making decisions even if I believe that there are instances in it that need to be corrected. I Believe Miss Jackson didn’t get to where she is well being an intelligent woman who most definitely will uphold the law and will not sit on the bench and make decisions according to her personal beliefs . When we hold such high-ranking positions we have to make decisions based on law come she does not seem to me to be ignorant woman , she understands this to the fullest and I think with the help of the Lord she can do anything but fail. I really do not care if our next Supreme court justice is Black, Hispanic, Asian, male or female. My only concern is that they support our Constitution and treat citizens equally and fairly under our governing laws. Should we erase all history because of the sins and flaws of our past lives? The point of history is to know what happened in the past not to judge it. Learning history should be an impartial act.
