I Prayed have prayed
Lord, we ask You to stop the rogue judiciary from usurping the authority of the President. We pray for Senator Mike Lee as he seeks to protect the President's constitutional power with his proposed legislation.

As President of the United States, Donald J. Trump has the authority to select U.S. to serve around the nation. Recently, however, rogue courts and lawmakers have been usurping that authority.

Post a prayer for your state!

The Federalist explains:

U.S. attorneys hold authority to enforce the law on behalf of the executive branch within 94 judicial districts throughout the United States. U.S. attorneys are political appointees, selected by the president to ensure those charged with enforcing the law follow his policy priorities, but they are subject to the advice and consent of the Senate. So, unless and until the Senate confirms the president’s choice, the U.S. attorney position remains vacant.

To account for this delay, Congress authorized the attorney general to appoint, for up to 120 days, an interim U.S. attorney. That same statute provides that if the presidential appointee is not confirmed within that 120-day period, “the district court for such district may appoint a United States attorney to serve until the vacancy is filled.”

Senators have already run out the clock on some of the Trump administration’s U.S. Attorney picks. In two separate cases, after the 120-day period ended, district courts in New York and New Jersey disregarded the presidential picks, choosing others to fill the role of U.S. attorney.

In response to these two instances, Attorney General Pam Bondi used built-in loopholes to dismiss the district courts picks and return her picks to power. According to The Federalist, she announced her decision on X, writing that the DOJ “does not tolerate rogue judges.”

The Attorney General is absolutely right. The judges refusing to select the Trump administration’s picks are flagrantly denying the President’s right to select who works for him. Luckily, one senator, Senator Mike Lee from Utah, is introducing legislation to address this problem:

Sen. Lee’s proposed legislation recognizes that reality and provides a direct solution that avoids the machinations currently required, with the bill removing the statutory provision that directs the district courts to name an acting U.S. attorney. The draft bill replaces that provision with language authorizing a U.S. attorney appointed by the attorney general to serve until the individual appointed by the president is confirmed by the Senate.

The Utah senator told The Federalist that “President Trump deserves to pick the people working for him.” Lee added that Congress had previously removed the provision allowing district courts to name acting U.S. attorneys, but then “Democrats revived it to hamper the Bush administration almost 20 years ago.”

If this bill were to pass, it would restrict bad actors in the judicial branch and allow President Trump to exercise his constitutional powers. However, in the currently polarized Congress, it’s unclear whether such a measure could pass or not.

As President Trump and his administration battle these rogue justices, let’s pray for him and for Senator Lee’s legislation!

Why does a Christian website engage in such propaganda? Judges restrict Trump??? How about Trump again tries to break the law. Trump is not a dictator, he is a president and has to follow the laws of the country. For good reasons, our government has checks and balances and restrictions on power that Trump is clearly trying to ignore. To disregard the fact that Trump is immoral one has to be blind at this point. Aside from the adultery, the assault, the repeated lies, now we see him firing someone for being honest about the jobs report. How can you trust anything the man does and yet Christians continue to ignore the clearly sinful behavior and the assault on our country’s institutions? How is this Christian?

Hey Chuck, thanks for the comment. This IS a Christian website and what you are seeing is a Biblical story played out for us in real time. Jesus was offered all the kingdoms of this world if he would bow down and worship Satan. Today, you get the kingdom of the world, the US, you get what you want on abortion if you just bow down and accept anything from Trump. Its the media, its the judges, its deep state, its not the guy who is good friends with the most notorious pedophile ever, its not the guy who cheated on all 3 of his wives and paid to cover his affairs, its not the guy who was found guilty of 30+ felonies, the guy found responsible for sexual assault. Sure, all of this looks like a consistent pattern of evil, but we give in to all of that to get our way for kingdoms of this world. It is truly a Biblical story played out for us today, only in the reverse where Christians give in to the temptation presented in the Biblical story.

Actually, you are wrong. Christians are ‘not getting the kingdom of this world’ by supporting Trump. Christians may support Trump on the issue of abortion and pretty much all Christians may agree that we would like abortions to disappear or at least be reduced but Jesus was pretty clear that the law is not the best way to change behavior. What Christians are getting from Trump is making abortion illegal but studies across countries have shown that countries that reduce abortions do not do so by making it illegal but by giving inducements to families to be able to better afford children and helping low income families. So Christians supporting Trump are actually bowing to Satan and then not even getting ‘the kingdoms of this world’ in the bargain. It really is a sad situation, particularly as Trump’s tariffs hurt the economy and make things even worse for low income families. Christians really are misinformed on this issue.

“If this bill were to pass, it would restrict bad actors in the judicial branch…”

God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be satisfied. Matthew 5:6

Dear Heavenly Father, You are God Almighty, YOU authored justice. We do not need any more laws, Your 10 are perfect. I simply ask for YOU to restrict and remove all the justices who fail to do their work. These rebellious ones need to be rebalanced in YOUR scales of justice. I ask this and so much more in the Name of Jesus Christ, who tells us we who serve Him, will be satisfied. Amen

Amen! May God protect us from a judiciary that doesn’t want President Trump to succeed and will stand in his way.

Heavenly Father, we appeal to you in this matter. We the people,Your people believe that you chose President Trump to lead this nation. Having established that fact, we intercede through declaration and decree that regardless of the tactics the enemy try’s, President Trump‘s nominees will occupy the seats of power and authority that Trump has chosen for them. Our trust is not in Donald Trump, but in the one who chose him, our Father in heaven.
