Johnson Promises to Fast Track Epstein File Release
After months of confusion and distraction, Speaker Mike Johnson announced on Wednesday that the House would vote to release all files related to Jeffrey Epstein next week.
Find out when your state prays.
From the Daily Wire:
Johnson said on Wednesday that a discharge petition to bypass leadership and force a vote on the bill hit the benchmark for needed signatures. He has decided to expedite the vote for the bill, which under current rules could have been delayed until at least early December, according to The Hill.
The discharge petition received the final signature it needed after Johnson swore in Democrat Adelita Grijalva on Wednesday evening. Grijalva won a special election in Arizona seven weeks ago to fill the seat of her father, Rep. Raul Grijalva, who died in March from complications of treatment he was undergoing for cancer.
“As soon as the discharge petition received the 218th signature, we brought it up on unanimous consent, and that would, as you know, make it — would get it through the process immediately. The Democrats shockingly opposed it,” said the speaker. “It was a staggering level of hypocrisy. I think some of them regretted it, because within about a half hour of that, there was a lot of confusion, and some of them claim that they did not object, but they did, and that’s what happened on the floor.”
Speaker Johnson put off the swearing in of Representative Grijalva for weeks, claiming he would do so after the government shutdown was resolved. According to the Daily Wire, this decision prompted a lawsuit from the Attorney General of Arizona. Representative Grijalva’s introduction to the House brings the Republican-Democrat split to 219-214.
The Daily Wire notes that four Republicans joined every Democrat to force a vote to release the Epstein files: Representative Thomas Massie, Representative Lauren Boebert, Representative Nancy Mace, and Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene. White House officials reportedly met with Representative Boebert on Wednesday, allegedly pressuring her to help block the release of the Epstein files. After the meeting, however, the Representative said that both she and the White House are committed to transparency, denying the accusation that the President pressured her to vote any which way.
The Epstein files have been a thorn in the side for Republicans for months now, with many accusing President Trump of seeking to hide any past involvement with the notorious sex predator. Let’s pray for full transparency that will cut through all lies and rumors!

So am I crazy or weren’t the epstein flight logs released during biden’s time in office? However I don’t recall all of this insistence on releasing files that a democrat installed judge blocked the release of. Let
me clarify that President Trump is not one of the Epstein pedophiles. However Obama was in a photo on Epstein Island with a man and a little boy in a boat. Or Chuck Schumer in a sleeveless t-shirt on the island. If I saw this, many others saw it. Where is the outrage? Bill Clinton was on the wall reclining in a portrait wearing a blue dress and red high heels. Where were the cries “release the files?” No where! Bill Gates wife divorced him because of his many visits to Epstein
Island. Where were the
questions about why Bill
Gates spent so much time
on an island with a known
convicted pedophile?
There has been silence!
Oprah’s plane made at least
about 17 trips to Epstein
island which was on the
flight logs. Any outrage
and questions about her. No! FATHER GOD I pray a hedge of protection over President Trump and his family and administration.
FATHER GOD please release the Epstein files intact with everyone involved exposed. Please
allow our President to do
what our Constitution says
for the Executive Office to
do without all of these
distractions in JESUS
MIGHTY NAME! Amen!
who cares about the files what about election fraud. sounds like a distraction to me.
There is absolutely no evidence that will convince someone like you that Trump is a horrible person. They could show videos of him doing horrible things and you’d still deny it. 8 months after Epstein was registered as a sex offender, Trump hosted him for Thanksgiving dinner. This is no distraction. At the beginning of his run for president, there is video of him boasting about grabbing women and moving on married women…. He cheats on all 3! of his wives, and gets compared to King David though he not only shows no signs of repentance, he cheats repeatedly. He is held financially responsible for sexual assault. This is his character and he gets defended on a Christian web site. This is NO distraction, it is who he is and that should undeniable. Election fraud… you have NO credible evidence, none, zero. And this passes as honest Christianity.
Dan, you are simply wrong!
Release of the full police and FBI files will need the approval of the President – how likely is that?
That is not true. The doj tried to release the files and a democrat judge blocked the release. Do some research please and learn the truth before you speak.
Yes, Lord may your will be done with the Epstein file exposure. Protect President Trump against the lies of the enemy. In Jesus’ name.
