Three corrections to the above post with apologies: First, at the time of His birth, Jesus had been promised to the world as messiah for roughly 4,000 years, not 6000. Second, although some have said that Mary had three or four non-Jewish-blood ancestors (Ruth, Rahab, Tamar, and according to a certain Jewish legality, Bathsheba), I found in my bible only one of those that is for certain (in my opinion), and that would be Ruth. Also, John Hagee is more into Israel tours whereas Kenneth Hagin is more into eschatology, at least according to my research.

TR is mostly if not all right. Sure, there have always been individuals who believed the “doctrine” which Darby popularized, but Schofield (a scoundrel) and Graham (a misled preacher with serious doctrinal errors) made His (Darby’s) false teaching all a part of American evangelicalism ( I said American “evangelicalism,” not American “Christianity.” ) The truth is that the book of Revelation was written to the 7 churches that existed after the crucifixion of Christ and before the destruction of the temple of Jerusalem in 70 AD. Yet the false prophets (such as Darby, Scofield, and Graham) attribute that book (Revelation) to our modern day of works-righteous Christianity, and they even can’t agree among themselves how to twist it for that purpose. John says right at the beginning of that book that he was writing it (Revelation) to those seven churches, not to “western” Christians. Meanwhile, Jesus said during his last supper with the disciples that He was replacing the old covenant with the new covenant. The old covenant, of course, is the Jewish sacrificial system that ended when the temple was destroyed in 70 AD, or rather when the curtain that separated its courtyard from the holy of hollies was split from top to bottom at the second Jesus died on the cross when darkness fell upon the earth, even as pagan civilizations also testify in their own historical records. Yet the false teachers of today cling to the old work-based-system of salvation for the sake of patronizing the Jews and Israel which are in effect their (little?) gods, all in violation of the first commandment of the old covenant, much less in violation of Jesus commandment to “love God with all of your heart and soul.” Jesus, the Christian’s God, said Himself that the (old-covenant) temple would be permanently destroyed (which happened in 70AD as He promised) and would be replaced with the new-covenant temple which He would build in 3 days, which is exactly what happened when He rose from the dead 3 days after He was crucified and which was when the old covenant died when He died only to be resurrected and replaced 3 days later. So to (supposedly) see the “Jews” (or rather the zionists) rebuild the temple, bring back the sacrificial system (such as the “red heifer), and establish an earthly kingdom in Jerusalem to honor and observe that old covenant is to not only trash the New Covenant (which is salvation through faith in Christ alone) but it (in my opinion) is to blaspheme God. After all, if you came to abolish the old covenant by being crucified, how would you feel if you had to come back to the same planet for a thousand years to see it all thrown back in your face? He told the Jews plainly, “My kingdom is not of this world.” (They also wanted Him to rule from Jerusalem and usher in a “thousand years” of Communist utopianism). Meanwhile, Paul instructed Christians to not be yoked with unbelievers, even as are most Jews of today and even as are most of the people who live in Israel (according to TR). After all, the Jewish geneology was observed and recorded (both in the temple and in the bible) for the purpose of documenting the coming of Jesus and confirming His arrival, Him (Jesus) being the last “descendant of Abraham” that would matter and who had been promised for 6,000 years. But wait! Jesus’ geneology was not only through Mary (a Jew), but it was half through the Holy Spirit (since she was a virgin when she conceived Jesus). Even worse, she (Mary) was not even a full blooded Jew because she had a non-Jewish cross bred ancestry (such as through Rahab the harlot, David’s live-ins, and Ruth the Moabite). Furthermore, the “Jews” at the time of Jesus birth were technically only from the southern kingdom of Israelites, namely only of the tribe of Judah and not including the northern kingdom of Israelites, such as the tribes of Zebulun, Issachar,, Gad, Manasseh, etc.,. Thus, all of today’s discussion about “Jews” and “antisemitism” could not even apply any more to the old covenant, even if the old covenant could still be possible, because it couldn’t possibly include all of the northern kingdom of the “seed of Abraham” which were of the other decendants of Jacob but which hated the descendants of Judah, the “Jews,” but were equally “God’s chosen people” at the time He delivered to Abraham and his descendants the old covenant. And all of that just said does not even give consideriation to the other descendants of Abraham which were of the geneology of his other son (Ismael, the son of his concubine) and which became the God-hated enemies of Israel, and later, became the enemies of Christians, most notably today’s Muslims and, yes, today’s Palestinian Jews. Thus, all of the discussion today about so-called “Jews,” “anti-semitism,” and the “promised land of Israel” is all a red herring because it can only apply to ethnic “Jews” and not to Abrahamic “Jews.” Of course anybody can be an ethnic Jew or a citizen of Israel even as anybody can be a Muslim or a citizen of Samaria, which is included in the land of the old covenant. In other words, at this late day in the earth’s gene pool, probably most people on the planet have at least some Jewish heritage, so who exactly can be biblically entitled to “God’s promised land”? To claim that biblical “right” would be to start a conflict, even as is happening right now in “Palestine,” Samaria, and Lebanon. And even the false teachers show their lack of biblical intelligence in this matter by saying there will be 144,000 Jews to rule the planet during the (supposed) millineum, and that those “144,000” will consist of 12,000 Jews from each of the twelve tribes of Israel. Well duh!, all of those “twelve tribes” (Judah, Zebulun, Issachar,, Gad, Manasseh, etc.) have been so interbred by now that it would be impossible to seperate them by tribe as was specified 2000 years ago in Revelation. Meanwhile, all of the Jewish geneology records were destroyed in 70 AD when the temple was destroyed, so who is going to honor any “Jew in Name Only” (JINO) who claims he or she should be considered a member of one of the twelve tribes who gets to help boss everybody else around from the so-called “holier than thou” headquarters in Jerusalem? So its all just ignorant fantasy that JINOs use to get attention and be treated special, and CINOs (Christians in name only) do the same in order to act out their mothering instinct to “needy” infants whom they presume to need their protection, or rather their idolatrous worship (or maybe only their tourism dollars, such as through the likes of Kenneth Hagan).
Or at least that is my opinion, and I welcome anyone who disputes it. But give it your best shot, because I have had this opinion for many decades, and the more anyone tries to convince me that I am wrong, the more I feel that I am right.
