As conflict between Israel and Hezbollah continues to intensify, the IDF attacked the terrorists in what is “the deadliest day” since Oct. 7.

From The Wall Street Journal. Israeli strikes the military says targeted Hezbollah killed more than 270 people, including dozens of women and children, and wounded 1,000 across Lebanon on Monday, according to Lebanese authorities, in the deadliest day of conflict there since October and as the two sides edge toward full-blown war.

The Israeli military said it launched strikes against more than 800 targets in Lebanon targeting Hezbollah’s military infrastructure including missiles, launchers and unmanned aerial vehicles. Israel also targeted Ali Karaki, a Hezbollah leader under U.S. counterterrorism sanctions, in an airstrike in Beirut on Monday, according to an Israeli official familiar with the matter.

The Pentagon said Monday that it was sending additional forces to the Middle East, but wouldn’t say how many, for how long or what mission the forces would be conducting. …

Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari said the airstrikes would continue in the near term, and told residents in part of Lebanon to stay away from areas that would be targeted but didn’t identify those exact locations.

“We advise civilians from Lebanese villages located in and next to buildings and areas used by Hezbollah for military purposes, such as those used to store weapons, to immediately move out of harm’s way for their own safety,” Hagari said.

Some residents and government officials in Lebanon reported receiving voice calls and text messages telling them to evacuate, including the minister of information, who said he received an evacuation call at his office. …

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Monday that Israel was operating to “change the balance of power in the north.”

“We are destroying thousands of missiles and rockets that are pointed towards cities in Israel and Israeli citizens,” Netanyahu said.

Hezbollah has fired some 150 projectiles at northern Israel in the past 24 hours, according to the Israeli military. More than 8,800 rockets, missiles and drones have been fired by Hezbollah into Israel since Oct. 8, according to Israel. The Israeli military has also struck Lebanon more than 8,000 times by air, drone, missile and artillery in the same period, according to the nonprofit Armed Conflict Location and Event Data.

Tensions between Israel and Hezbollah have escalated after a series of severe blows to the U.S.-designated terrorist group last week. An Israeli strike on Friday killed the head of Hezbollah’s elite Radwan Force and other commanders, days after explosions of walkie-talkies and pagers killed dozens and injured thousands in an Israeli attack. The escalation has raised concerns of all-out war between the two sides, which had previously engaged in tit-for-tat strikes across the border. …

Israel recently added a new official war goal: ensuring that some 60,000 evacuated residents of northern Israel can return to their homes. It says it is trying to do so by pushing Hezbollah back from the border and degrading Hezbollah’s military capabilities, which include long-range missiles.

“We will do whatever is needed to return the residents of the north home safely,” Hagari, the Israeli military spokesman, said Monday. …

Hezbollah says that its attacks against Israel since Oct. 8 are in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza and that it will stop firing on Israel when the conflict ends in Gaza, where tens of thousands of Palestinians have been killed. …

Remember the Heart for Lebanon organization in your prayers. This amazing Christ centered organization is leading Druze, Shiite and Sunni Muslims along with Maronite Lebanese to Jesus like few others before it. Their presence in the south of Lebanon is in the direct line of Israeli fire, so pray that God’s angel armies will cover them with His divine shield.
Lord, how good it is when brothers live together in unity. Ps. 133. May the love of Christ penetrate the bitter hatred that has been brewing for millennia so that indeed, brothers can live together in peace.

Yes, praying for those precious souls. This is exactly why we should not be applauding Israel’s trust in deadly weapons. Pray they will put their faith in Yeshua – recognizing that only those who do are His truly chosen people.

Thank You, Lord for keeping Your promises. You are drawing Your chosen people back to the Land, and restoring them. You are revealing Your Son, Yeshua, to them as their Messiah. We trust You to accomplish Your plans and purposes, even in the midst of war.

Perpetuating war will never bring peace, only more destruction of hell-bound humanity. Pray for the Middle East to receive the Prince of Peace, Yeshua HaMashiach!

Dearest Heavenly Father. Thank you for loving Israel and keep affording them your guidance and protection. I love how you love them. I know some get upset when we say your chosen ones but it is because of your love and faithfulness to them that helped draw me to you so I could be adopted into your chosen and have that love, faithfulness, and protection as well. I ask that you keep helping them be victorious through you and your Son. To you be all Glory, Honor, Power, and PRAISE for you alone are Worthy to be PRAISED. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ we pray. AMEN

Lord, thank you for your assurance in your Word that Israel will survive the armies that surround their nation. We proclaim Psalm 27 over her people, that they trust in You and seek your presence, as their enemies stumble and fall.
Lord Yeshua, you wept over your people as you entered Jerusalem because you are Love, and there is forgiveness without condemnation for all who look to you for their hope. We praise you for your amazing grace. Amen.

Since it has been found that Iran and Hezbollah are basically one Israel has every right to protect itself. It is doing an amazing job with its intelligence operations.

You should choose better news sources than the Wall Street Journal to do your quotes from as they will always skew wording to anti-Israel and propagate the data/information derived from Hamas/Hezbollah sources.
