The special committee discussing the dissolution of the Knesset determined on Monday evening that the elections for the 22nd Knesset will take place on Tuesday, September 17, 2019.
The date, however, is not final and is expected to change ahead of the final vote in the Knesset plenum. Committee chairman MK Miki Zohar (Likud) said at the start of the discussion, “Anyone who votes against the bill helps Benny Gantz form a government.”
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is continuing his efforts to prevent elections and establish a right-wing government. The businessman who is conducting the coalition negotiations on behalf of MK Avigdor Liberman, Shmuel Hayek, is expected to return to Israel overnight Monday and continue with the talks.
Earlier on Monday, Netanyahu instructed Likud ministers and Knesset members to launch an attack against Liberman over his decision to oppose the establishment of a right-wing government.
“I’ve now informed the Likud ministers and Knesset members: After evaluating a new situation – open season on Liberman,” Netanyahu said.
The Prime Minister earlier said that there was still time to form a coalition and avert new elections.
“There’s no reason to drag the country to unnecessary elections that will cost a fortune and paralyze us all for another half a year,” Netanyahu said. (Excerpted from Israel National News article by Hezki Baruch)

Lord God, if Prime Minister Netanyahu is your man for the hour, then I pray that you propel him forward and all obstacles fall and kneel at your will to be done here on earth as it is in heaven. If you have another plan, may it be done in peace and justice. Amen.
Lord God I pray we would love you so much that obeying you would be more important then any sacrifice we would need to make to do 2nd Chronicles 7: 14 because only obeying you can save us from the insane being in charge of deciding what is Mental Health

Father, I ask that You give PM Netanyahu wisdom in how to proceed. I ask that You bless him and that You will show him what and how things need to be done. I ask that You will be with him as you are with our President Trump, for PM Netanyahu appears to have the same sort of forces working against him as is working against our President. I pray LORD that You will send Your mighty angels to strengthen and help the PM just as You have for our President.
I pray that You will scatter and confuse the ones who are trying to cause division in Israel. That the truth will be brought to the light and all evil intentions will be exposed and dealt with.
No matter what happens in Israel, LORD I pray that Your kingdom will come and that Your will will be done in Israel as it is in heaven.
