Director of National Intelligence has since responded, highlighting that the President, after viewing all available intelligence, determined that Iran was an “imminent threat.”

Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard issued a statement on X hours after the Director of the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) resigned over war with Iran.
Joe Kent posted on X that he was resigning from his situation effective immediately because he couldn’t support Trump’s conflict with Iran. Following the resignation, reports swirled on social media speculating about what led to Kent’s resignation.
Gabbard posted on X about the conflict, writing that her job is to present the president with all the best information to inform his decisions. Trump had decided that Iran posed “an imminent threat,” according to her statement.
Director Gabbard highlighted that President Trump was “overwhelmingly elected by the American people,” and that it is his responsibility to determine “what is and is not an imminent threat,” as well as “whether or not to take action he deems necessary.” You can read her full statement below.

In his X post announcing his resignation, Kent claimed “Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation” and that the conflict was started “due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.”
Kent is not the first conservative to criticize Operation Epic Fury. Representative Thomas Massive has staunchly opposed the operation since the beginning. Meanwhile, conservative commentator Matt Walsh has not outright opposed the operation, but he has repeatedly questioned its necessity. And of course, more controversial voices on the right like Tucker Carlson and Nick Fuentes have not been shy about condemning President Trump. Kent’s resignation, however, shows that opposition to intervention in Iran has entered the administration itself. The question now is how far that opposition will spread and how much division it will create.
Many on the right fail to understand just how dangerous Iran is. They also fail to see just how important Israel is, both to the Lord and to the United States. This puts President Trump in a precarious position. Not only is he hated by the left, but now many in his own party are turning on him. And as the midterms draw closer, disagreements and division in both the Trump administration and the conservative movement threaten to collapse the powerful MAGA coalition that created a Republican trifecta in Washington.
As Operation Epic Fury continues, let’s pray for Americans to be unified behind the Trump administration. Let’s ask God to open people’s eyes to the truth about Iran, Israel, and the Middle East!

of people in Congress in regards to Operation Epic Fury. I just ask that you

The Democrats are completely unhinged with their lack of regard for the Middle

Kent may have another reason for resigning having to do with his being investigated for actions that would have removed him from his position. This investigation began long before Epic Fury and he was being excluded from high level sensitive meetings because of it. Of course the media doesn’t report that. It seems all they are interested in is slandering and demeaning President Trump. I pray the American people will wake up and pray for our country and our President and his administration, and for our troops and for Israel, too. Scripture is clear that no nation that stands against Israel will escape God’s judgment. God help America.
One of the things that was not brought up in the article is that Walsh was being investigated for leaking sensitive information. And that he had been excluded from high level meetings months before his resignation. So it appears that there is more going on than just his resignation.
We should be praying for unity and that God is leading Trump. That Trump is listening to God and following His will.
Actually Jesus is using the USA. government and ALL our intelligence, Computers, etc. , men in our US Services to destroy Iran. I think Iran was Persia in tge Bible. Actually, the Iranian controllers, killed 200,000 people in the last 10 yr. A person would be stupid to believe anything that the Iranian controllers say. My quick response to this article is that I completely agree with Alweesa Gurll and his post immediately below. This article is riddled with typos and simple errors that should be fixed, but in general has a tone that is divisive and does not represent what I can see of the actual people in President Trump’s administration. SPECULATION is the order of the day, and leaving things subject to the public court and judgement is a stupid error, promoted by polls and media. Simply put, just be careful in who and what you believe. I believe God and that our country is getting back to what God did through our founding fathers. We ARE a Christian country. Is your intent to say that agreeing with everything the government does is serving the Lord? If so, does that apply to those in Iran? I am very concerned with what appears to be comparing governments to God.

I believe that articles like this will only lead to more division. The world already highlights problems within Trump’s Administration. How about reporting how CNN actually declared that Trump has 100% support of his MAGA base for the war against Iran, instead of making more people aware of division within Trump’s administration. Second guessing is a favorite past time in DC….especially from even the best media sources, because it creates news for them. They’re really not as concerned with the why as they are news stories.
Joe Kents reasons are personal. Perhaps he doesn’t like DC, politics or his position. But I do know this. It seems President Trump is having to do hard things that even appear to conflict with what he stood for. He seems strange to many. But it seems to me he is striking at the heart of evil. He’s risking possibly his own reputation, livelihood, and security for the sake of America. I read all the headlines on IFA today and they all point to the same thing: Will evil overrun us and win? Nobody resigns and then immediately begins a massive same-day media and pervasive podcast circuit campaign without it being planned well in advance — with message consulting and coaching — to detract from the real agenda of the puppet masters that you never see.
Years ago, the Lord thrust me into Christian pro-life political statewide activism, elected to the Congressional District Republican Committee and the State Republican Committee, for a season. And I had learned two very important things by the time the Lord ultimately released me from it: 1) It became ever increasingly difficult to tell who the good guys were. Everyone who talks the talk aren’t as they project themselves to be. And, 2) NOTHING in the political arena is as it appears to be.
Both are certainly being manifest in the current Joe Kent news cycle and media blitz.
Sadly a rat got into the mix. I’ve watched this man and he is not to be trusted since his first appearance on the political stage in WA state!
Pray that the Holy Spirit convicts every person and no one is able to use or abuse their positions to harm our administration!
God of Angel Armies watch over and direct our leaders. Weed out self-serving and enemy assets and watch over the rear guard as you did The Hebrew children coming out of Egypt. Bring our true allies up and continue to enforce the prayer shield!
This! Washington state says it all. we are becoming a Communist state with Dictators. Wish I could move because it is scary here.
