At the beginning of Operation Epic Fury, the United States military killed Ali Khamenei, the former totalitarian leader of Iran. Now, however, the Islamic nation has selected Khamenei’s successor.

Iran’s Assembly of Experts has elected Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of the late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as the country’s new supreme leader, according to Iranian state television.
Mojtaba Khamenei, 56, is the second-eldest son of Ali Khamenei and was born in Mashhad in 1969.
His early childhood coincided with his father’s rise as a revolutionary figurehead opposing the monarchy of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi.
The younger Khamenei reportedly attended Alavi High School, a school for Iran’s political and religious elite. Fox notes he was seen constantly with his father and was considered an “influential figure behind the scenes.” Reports also say he is considered to be the most powerful and politically influential of his father’s sons.
The U.S. has previously sanctioned Mojtaba Khamenei. President Trump also criticized the new leader, saying, “Khamenei’s son is unacceptable to me. We want someone who will bring harmony and peace to Iran. … I have to be involved in the appointment, like with Delcy [Rodriguez] in Venezuela.”
As the former Supreme Leader’s son, it seems likely that Mojtaba Khamenei will be just as oppressive as his father, if not worse. Let’s pray for a leader who will protect his people and honor God, not one who will uphold the existing Islamic regime!

So the world can expect him to be pretty much like his father and now adding vengeance for the death of his father to his list of faults, perhaps even worse.
I am VERY CONSCERNED IF Iran’s new supreme leader is the correct choice? He is still like his father, so how can he be any different than his father? This is extremely difficult time in our lives in America and in the whole world!!! I WILL PRAY AND PRAY Iran’s supreme leader will allow the people of Iran to be FREE from THE OLD WAYS in their country!!!!! The WOMAN, MEN AND CHILDREN!!!! YAHWEH BLESS AMERICA!!!
