I Prayed have prayed
Lord, as this election year heats up we pray that foreign adversaries would cool down. We pray for our leaders to seek and find wisdom from You as they face threats of all kinds.

President Trump has multiple options to deal with the two defining foreign policy crises of his first term as tensions rise with North Korea and Iran, but it’s unclear whether he has the will to escalate on either front as his political future hangs in the balance.

Mr. Trump heads into 2020 with one eye on his reelection campaign and another on the high-stakes challenges posed by Tehran and Pyongyang, each of which in recent days has publicly tested the resolve of the commander in chief. For the president, the new year brings the need to walk an increasingly precarious line of projecting strength on the global stage while not jeopardizing his chances for a second term by drawing the U.S. deeper into conflict and perhaps even all-out war.

The crosscurrents were on display on New Year’s Eve when Mr. Trump was asked about the near breaching of the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad that the administration quickly blamed on Iran and Iranian proxies.

“I want to have peace,” Mr. Trump said when asked about a possible military escalation of the crisis. “I like peace. And Iran should want to have peace more than anybody. So I don’t see that happening.”

But in a sign that events on the ground are clashing with the president’s inclinations, the State Department announced Wednesday that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was calling off a long-planned trip to Ukraine and other countries in the region this week.

Having spent most of his first three years in office vowing to strike an elusive denuclearization deal with North Korea and issuing fiery warnings to Iran, Mr. Trump finds the two countries remain the biggest international flashpoints confronting U.S. policy.

How Mr. Trump deals with the crises may ultimately decide whether he returns to the White House for a second term.

“When it comes to foreign policy, the most significant feature of 2019 was the persistence of the status quo,” Stephen M. Walt, a professor of international relations at Harvard University, wrote in a piece for Foreign Policy magazine this week. The president’s provocative rhetoric and unconventional diplomacy “continued to alarm and kept the chattering classes busy, but 2019 was a potential turning point where most aspects of world politics failed to turn.”

Father, You said that where there is no vision the people perish. I pray that You would place in our president’s heart an overwhelming desire to seek and know and implement Your visions for his presidency.

You also said that unless You build the house, we labor in vain. Father, cause President Trump to not build or do or take any action that You are not in.

Father, You said that as Zerubbabel undertook the rebuilding of the temple that it would not be accomplished by human might nor power but by the power of the Holy Spirit of the LORD of Heaven’s Armies. Father, as President Trump seeks to do everything in his might and power to restore America to it founding, Biblical principles and roots, and to protect this nation and perform his constitutional duties, that You will honor his efforts by the Power of Your Holy Spirit that no man or obstacle can resist.

Father, thank You that You promised that those who honor You, You will honor. Father, honor President Trump in everything he does to honor You and give Him a heart and ever-increasing desire to honor You in every way he possibly can.

Father, the enemy is coming in with a flood of attacks from Iran, North Korea and the Democrat Party and all their innumerable allies. Father, I thank You for making President Trump the man he is today, remarkably able to stand and work for righteousness inspite of everything Satan is throwing at him. Give him a powerful, overwhelming sense of Your hand and favor on his life which further instills a desire in him to honor You in everything he says and does that he may have confidence that You will raise a Standard against these enemies.

Father, You said that in the multitude of counselors there is safety. Thank You for all the godly counsel he is supported with, including all the intercessors standing in the gap for him whether in his office or unknown but to You. Father, keep him surrounded by godly advisors and remove those who are against him and You and give President Trump the wisdom and Holy Spirit discernment to know what counsel is from You and what is not.

Father, I ask You for supernatural protection over President Trump’s life and that of all his family and administration and bless and work with his security detail to thwart all dangers.

In Jesus’s Name, I pray, — for Your Glory throughout this awesome world You created. Amen

I pray God would send angels to strengthen president Trump and that he would seek God’s strategies in all issues he’s facing and we are facing as a country. I pray godly men and women surround him and the American people would honor, respect and pray for him and our leaders.

I pray president Trump is given the wisdom of king Solomon the
warrior like spirit of king David and the leading of the
Holy Spirit.
President Trump is G-D’s wild card.
