Our economy is hurting the youngest of us and preventing them from starting their adult lives. What is happening?

From Fox Business. A poll released Tuesday conducted by The Harris Poll and commissioned by DailyPay found 54% of Gen Zers ages 18-25 are living with their folks, with 80% of respondents saying they expect the economy will either remain that same or decline over the next year. …

“Between COVID, inflation and a looming recession, Gen Z has kicked off adulthood in the most uncertain of times,” said Jeanniey Walden, chief innovation and marketing officer at DailyPay. …

A mere 28% of respondents in early adulthood said they are typically able to pay all their bills on time, and 41% said they are worried that paying their bills will become even more difficult …

The squeeze on young adults’ wallets is also impacting their ability to save, according to the study.

“Potentially most concerning is that Gen Z does not feel they are able to save for the future,” Walden told FOX Business. …

These young people have been lied to and propagandized through the educational system for years.
They have been ministered to to receive the god of this world (money, power, control, popularity). This hurts my heart. They not only think being cut throat, and dog eat dog is acceptable behavior with the goal of getting ahead but it is like a god to them. They don’t know ‘the father of lies’ is lying to them. It’s easy to judge them and hate them but we know satan’s trap. It starts out ok but ends in misery, shame and defeat. They need our prayers.

We need to show them Jesus and his love and mercy. We all need the Gospel and God’s grace. Maybe then, most of gen-z will not vote for democrats just to get easy access to abortion while their policies lead only to high inflation.

Our only hope is Jesus!! We cannot expect politicians to save us. Israel asked for a king and a king could not save them. I will be praying for the salvation of these young people.

Praying for many adult Christians to pray and reach out to the Gen Z. Holy Spirit touch many of these young people to know Jesus as Lord and Savior! Jesus has the answer. Lord of the harvest please send forth workers to the harvest field. (Matthew 9:37-39). My husband and I released our story of faith and mission to inspire the young people to answer the call of Jesus to His harvest field- Jesus’ Call To His Harvest Field- Adventures in the Mission Field.

Father, use this inflation as a wake up call to Gen z, so they may turn to you and cry out for help from you, Lord, and also from the older generation. Use it to humble them and teach them what socialism is really like. Use it, Lord, to turn the hearts of fathers to children and children to fathers, as young people look for help and answers to a more conservative generation. In Jesus name!

Amen and amen. There is no help if they do not come to the Lord and make him Lord of their lives.
