Far-left Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has reportedly split from her second husband and is headed for divorce as questions continue to mount about her marital history, according to the exclusive reporting of The Daily Mail.
“The bust-up comes just as critics are demanding answers as to whether she married her own brother in a successful bid to get him into the United States,” The Daily Mail reported. “Omar has now dumped her current husband Ahmed Hirsi – who she first married in a religious ceremony in 2002 and divorced in 2008 – and moved into a penthouse apartment in one of Minneapolis’s trendiest neighborhoods, DailyMail.com has learned exclusively.”
When approached by the Daily Mail, Hirsi said: “Wow, I can’t comment on that. I’m sorry, I just can’t say anything.”
The Daily Mail says that they were told by a family friend that Hirsi only goes to Omar’s home “when Ilhan is in DC.”
“When she’s in Minneapolis he sleeps at his house,” the source said.
Earlier this week Judicial Watch filed an ethics complaint to David Skaggs, Chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives Office of Congressional Ethics, “calling for a full investigation into potential crimes tied to allegations that Rep. Ilhan Omar may have married her biological brother.”
President Donald Trump recently brought the allegations against Omar into the national spotlight, forcing the mainstream media to start covering the story they have long avoided.
The allegations recently resurfaced and have started to gain traction in the media after the Minnesota Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board ordered Omar “to repay her state House campaign committee nearly $3,500 in funds used in violation of law, as well as pay to the state a $500 civil penalty,” The Hill reported. “But the report issued by the board also revealed that Omar and her current husband Ahmed Hirsi filed joint tax returns in 2014 and 2015, while Omar was still legally married to another man, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi.”
Late last month, The Star Tribune reported that “new investigative documents released by a state agency have given fresh life to lingering questions about the marital history of Rep. Ilhan Omar and whether she once married a man — possibly her own brother — to skirt immigration laws.”

The fool says in his heart there is no God. I pray Lord Jesus that You would reveal Yourself to Ilhan. That her eyes would be open to the only true God. That her conscience would prick her. Give her no peace and no rest until she turns to You in total submission. For the way of peace they do not know; there is no justice in their paths. They have turned them into crooked roads; no one who walks in them will know peace.
And the way of peace they do not know. There is no fear of God before their eyes.
We thank you that you are revealing the hidden secrets in these people who would represent us, but only represent themselves and their lifestyles. Please continue to expose and eradicate the hypocrisy, evil and malcontent in every level of our government: local, city, county, state, and federal. This land was founded on Your concepts and principals. May we return to You and repent.
Father in Heaven, You are not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance! By Your grace and powerful Holy Spirit, please awaken your people and draw us to walk with you in righteous living that You may bring revival to our country and change the minds and hearts of these so lost in darkness! Prepare the way in their hearts and minds and let Your servants be willing to be used by you. Nevertheless, “He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still” as Jesus compels us, “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to everyone according to His work…” Rev 22:11-12! Oh, Lord Jesus, only by You can this be fulfilled before You return! Be a Mighty Savior for Your Holy Name’ sake!
May God reveal Truth and may His Truth and purpose prevail to the extent of removing from public office all who come against His people in Jesus Name, Amen.
