One year ago, Intercessors for America had a tremendously huge “reach” on Facebook. This means that our posts went to many people outside of our Facebook group. Back in January of 2019, we reached nearly 8 million people in the course of a couple of months. Many individual posts went to tens of thousands of people, with some posts regularly reaching 100k, 200k or more! In fact, in January of 2019, we reached 2.5 million people with our posts, and our posts made 4.5M impressions on Facebook.
Then, something changed. Almost at once, around April of 2019, our Facebook page went from an average of 152k impressions per day to just 68k–and today we are at even less, with only 39k impressions daily. Our posts started going to an average of less than 10% of our Facebook friends–people who had already made the effort to “LIKE” our IFA page. Some posts struggle to get out of the hundreds. We had heard about suppressing pages, views, and reach, but we had been blessed to have “flown under the radar” for years and still experienced tremendous growth and reach on social media. We were thankful then that we were not being affected!

We joined the ranks of conservative groups who have seen their Facebook reach dry up overnight. It wasn’t unusual for us to see millions of people reached per month, now we were struggling to have our posts for prayer reach 1,000. We have tried many different things to try to restore the reach we once had–posting differently, posting more often. posting from different sources–all without a marked difference.
What IFA is finally experiencing–let’s call it what it is–censorship–is happening to many conservative organizations and it is definitely strategic. Facebook is constantly changing algorithms to stay ahead of the pros who are trying to find the sweet spot for posts. And don’t forget the “fact-checking” going on by liberal groups that remove posts or place disclaimers on posts when the partisan “fact-checker” chooses. Registering for “political posts” is another way of keeping a leash on conservative groups–ads Facebook deems as political have to be registered and marked as such. They are trying everything they can to squelch the voice of those they disagree with.
Will you pray for a release of the stranglehold of censorship in the media that is being felt by many conservatives? If you have noticed that you haven’t seen a Facebook post by IFA in a while, will you check your settings and be sure to add IFA to your preferred-sender list again? Pray that we would again be able to share far and wide those issues that our nation needs to be in prayer about–and to enjoy the community of believers and their comments without the interference of “big brother.”

Years ago (about six maybe), my husband who does not profess to be a Christian but is a conservative, told me that he thought Facebook was evil and asked me to close my account with them. In some ways it was good since I caught up with old high school friends etc. But I honored his wishes and closed my account permanently. I am glad I did.
Why can’t we start a Christian Facebook? Someone out there must know how to set it up. I think it would be a great idea. No one can censor Christians if we control the website.

We all have choices. We can either continue to “do business” with — and thus support — corporations who intentionally oppose Christians, or we can tell them goodbye.
I was advised over a year ago that if i commented on a fb post it could be changed by anyone once posted and i would never know nor would i know the material forwarded in my name didn’t resemble what i said. Even hitting the like button gives numerous a profile.I rarely use fb. Laugh, call me names but im not confident with someone whose profit is 5 billion a month and has a history of deniability.
Father, God, I pray for warring angels to fight against principalities and powers giving a stranglehold to the people of God and the kingdom of God in this nation! Set us free, Lord, do not let us be captives in the land with no voice! In Jesus Name, I pray. Amen

I have had The IFA page deemed HATE SPEECH-wonder if this has happened to anyone else?
My page Prayer Changes Things has been a target also. I share many of IFA articles and pray live every Tuesday night at 7:30pm
We pray for many national issues brought to my attention by IFA and other conservative people.
FB slice my group in half refused to add new member requests (at time 144 new members went to a black hole after I approved them) they will not reply to my inquiries and straight out told one member that posting Psalm 23 was spam that no one will read it and it was against their community policy.
I have been very frustrated about but as an Intercessor, will continue to stand in prayer for IFA and for Prayer Changes Things.
There are times when I have been unable to pull up an article that is conservative, Pro-Life or anything revealing the corruption of the Deep State. Facebook obviously has its political bias. Father, we thank You that we are a country founded on Freedom of Speech and we ask YOU to reinstate that privilege, in Jesus Name. Break the hold of the enemy over social media, Lord, and over every corrupt, lying TV news broadcast. Let Your Truth reign over our nation again, in Jesus Name. We decree and declare that the spirit of political correctness must fall and we cover our beloved nation with the blood of Jesus. Only You can heal our country. LET IT BE SO, by the POWER OF YOUR NAME! THANK YOU JESUS!
I too have experienced the political correctness blocking access to conservative or Christian issues.
I have my email setup through aol and they blocked a newsletter “The Elijah List” where I can no longer receive their newsletter!
This kind of censorship isreal and happening on every social platform.
It’s all out war in the heavenlies and is being shown in the natural. The devil is working overtime to oppose and overthrow God’s work on earth and to silence the Christian voice! We must wake up and pray!!! And be active in our faith and in this world!

As we walk in silence like the people who obeyed the Lord in surrounding Jericho. It’s not by our might or our power, but it’s by God’s Spirit that we have the victory. As we shout the shout of the Lord, even if from our prayer closet, the walls come down. The enemy is defeated. We just shout the triumph of our God! We praise Him for the victory!
Have you seen USALife (USA.life)? It’s an alternative to Facebook. Small, but growing.
I’m sure it’s a great platform. Another FB alternative, Xapit.com is emerging-this is better than FB in that posts will NEVER be censored.
I too am being censored by gmail, Twitter, and Facebook. Repub political emails are being sent to the spam folder. Yesterday on Twitter my weekly teaching, shared as an article from LinkedIn, would land and disappear! When I post to My Story on Facebook, it is deleted. We definitely need Father’s intervention so our tongues are not cut out!!! KingdomofLightTruth.org
Lord, we forgive those that have censored the conservative voice and ask that you release your conviction to them. Give them dreams and warnings of their unjust behavior. Create momentum against the censorship so they relent. Release judgements from courts that enforce freedom of speech! Do it, God! Remove every gag over the Christian voice in America, in Jesus’ name!
Amen. Please dear Father, raise up righteous men and women inside these organizations to be a light and a voice of conviction. May the wicked be warned and respond by receiving grace and repentance. You said your Word will go forth and accomplish your end….may we, your people bless those who curse us and pray for those who spitefully use us. May we be faithful to continue to post your truth and stand up for our right of free speech while it is still day. In Jesus’ most holy name, so be it.
This does not surprise me when I share something from IFA on Facebook I generally have difficultly. Once I got a notice that my post had to be reviewed because of its content. The title was “strategic prayer for America”. Or if I post my friends tell me the message will not open. And when I ask about a post they say they never saw it or can’t find it. Looks as if IFA is being targeted a great deal. I am just one person with little influence so I find it amazing that FB is concerned so much of what I want to share. I have been praying about this type of censorship for several years. I know congress has had a number of hearings regarding it. However I see no action taken just talk. So in prayer I am asking you Father God to shake congress up and help them see that our first amendment rights are being violated and that they need to investigate and put a stop to these unfair practices. Father I ask you to raise up whistle blowers inside Facebook, Google Twitter and You Tube which can prove that such actions are taking place and need to be stopped. And the people who are commenting these crimes be held accountable.
As intercessors we need to share this information one on one. The enemy has a hold on all of the media and I see how their propaganda has brainwashed many good Christians. Last week in a church group conversation about politics vs scripture, one person stated people can get scripture to justify ones agenda. My comment was Satan used scripture to tempt Jesus and we need to read and understand the full context of scripture. We have many lazy Christians. These Christians are more of the world and have had chosen the easy way to get along with the world rather than follow God’s law. I am now sharing posts from this site. With a prayer that the Holy Spirit opens the eyes of his people to the truth. God wants us to have contact with people and this site is a good tool for us to use. Thanks be to God!

Ephesians 2:2 refers to satan as the prince of the power of the air (airwaves?). I have meditated on the enemies realm of authority there. However, we who serve the King of Kings know that the authority of a prince is surpassed by that of a King. In His name and by the power of the blood of Jesus, we declare the sovereignty of our God over the airwaves and as His heirs, assume our place of authority over the airwaves
Our wrestling is against spiritual darkness but Christ has won! We thank You, Father, for the Truth. We thank You that You are greater than all that is against us. We thank You for carrying us in these turbulent times. We know that You are against the proud and the wicked are reserved for destruction. We ask for an explosion of Your Word in this nation in spite of the enemy’s tactics. We ask for massive repentance in the Body of Christ and righteousness to flow. We give You glory. We do not shrink in fear but We bow in Your presence asking You to be glorified. Make the enemy a laughingstock. . . Again.

This is insidious. We know the enemy does not play fair but God is bigger! Father, in the name of Jesus we ask for You to send Your waring angels to fight this battle for fairness and truth! We command the enemy satan to lose his grip on social media and all media!! Thank You Lord that You are Truth and truth will prevail.
