On-site prayer reveals demonic strongholds you may not realize otherwise. Learn from this powerful testimony and intercede TODAY for an important event for youth.

Last month IFA shared the story of Pastor Jimn Kyles, of Richmond, Texas, who began feeling a burden to win Generation Z for Christ. To pursue that mission, he joined intercessor and business owner Barbara Greenfield in organizing an outreach they’ve called God’s Encounter 2023 (July 29–30). They hope to fill two stadiums and see Gen Z saved, delivered, and activated. You can read about that event here.

While Pastor Jimn was planning the event, the Holy Spirit led him to study the history of freemasonry in Fort Bend County. As the pastor researched, the Holy Spirit began revealing some of the demonic principalities and dark spiritual strongholds over the region. God was calling for action, and it became clear to Pastor Jimn and a team of intercessors that God wanted them to go to strategic locations and pray on-site. These were places God wanted to redeem and set apart as holy.

This is a valuable lesson. We are all called to pray, but sometimes God requires a bit more. If He asked you to, would you be willing to actually confront the evil that is over your city? Would you be ready, for instance, to go mobile and pray on-site at any places God would show you? More and more Christians are embracing the call to go beyond the prayer closet to the open exercise of their spiritual authority. They are being invited into another dimension of prayer, called on-site prayers.

Pastor Jimn’s launch of an initiative he called 70 Days of Prayer for Gen Z, in May, led to this God’s Encounter 23 event. The hope is that members of Gen Z will experience God’s freedom, power, and deliverance. He has mobilized a group of intercessors to pray over the two locations for the God’s Encounter 23 event: Constellation Field and Smart Financial Center, both in Sugar Land, Texas. The intercessors who went to pray at Constellation Field noticed a freemasonry plaque there stating that the building site had been “Leveled by the Grand Lodge of Texas.”

Imagine! One of the very sites at which God intends to see Gen Z members saved, freed, and delivered was originally dedicated to freemasonry. Surely, this is no coincidence. Though Pastor Jimn had heard about Freemasons, he had not known much about freemasonry. It wasn’t something he had ever encountered before. The Holy Spirit led him down a path of addressing demonic strongholds over Fort Bend County, in which his home city of Richmond is located.

Seek and You Will Find

Pastor Jimn began researching Masonic connections and soon discovered that the first monument ever erected in Texas to honor freemasonry was in Richmond, at Morton Cemetery. It “just so happens” that Richmond is where his church is located. Coincidence? Hardly.

“We also discovered that the oldest Masonic lodge in Texas is in Houston,” Pastor Jimn said. “Also, in Brazoria, less than an hour away, is where six Freemasons met underneath an oak tree and made a pact to bring freemasonry into Texas, in the spring of 1835. That oak tree now stands as a symbol of freemasonry and is called the ‘Masonic Oak.’ Freemasonry has its roots firmly established in the foundation and framework of Texas.”

In preparation for the God’s Encounter 23 event, Pastor Jimn and his intercessors felt led to pray on-site at every Masonic lodge and historical marker in Fort Bend County. Every Friday for the six weeks leading up to the God’s Encounter weekend, they went out and prayed over those locations, anointing them with oil and committing the land to God. They also drove stakes into the ground to mark off the properties spiritually. At the site of one of the lodges, there stands a cell phone tower; while the intercessors were praying there, they sensed God say that He was reclaiming his airways and that the devil and demonic principalities were being bound, muzzled, and gagged — while His angels were being released to open and establish the gates of heaven over the community.

The prayer stakes the intercessors are using come from a ministry called Active Faith, and they have scriptures written on them. Each stake is anointed with oil and then driven into the ground at the four corners of every location. Any “legal right” the Enemy has to operate at these locations, the intercessors believe God to be saying, has been canceled — and any demonic strongholds there are now uprooted and destroyed. They are declaring that any blood covenants or demonic rites upon that land are now broken, binding the devil and every dark power from operating. They then loose the power of God upon his people and the land, and they declare prophetically that the gates of heaven are now opened and established in that region. By faith they pray that God will loose angels to fulfill His will and to establish His kingdom on earth as in heaven.

Because the Masonic oak tree in Brazoria is essentially a monument to freemasonry, the intercessors staked out that ground and are praying that God would strike and destroy the tree from its roots, as a supernatural sign of His victory over demonic strongholds. (God’s people should understand that it is permissible to ask Him for a sign when they are in pursuit of His will: “Ask a sign for yourself from the LORD your God; ask it either in the depth or in the height above” [Isaiah 7:11 NKJV]).

“What we are doing is bigger than Fort Bend County and Richmond,” Pastor Jimn said. “We believe it’s just the beginning, and that the enemy’s power will be broken over Houston, and the U.S.” The pastor has received confirmation of this from other intercessory groups, such as the Texas Apostolic Prayer Network.

A Gathering of Pastors Before the Encounter With God

On Saturday, July 29, at 10:30 a.m., there is to be a gathering of pastors throughout Fort Bend County. This will be co-led by the Rev. Dave Welch, founder and president of the U.S. Pastor Council, and is to be a time of public repentance and renunciation of freemasonry. The pastors will be engaging in “identificational” repentance (see Daniel 9), repenting of and renouncing the blood covenants made to the devil, which surrendered legal authority to demons. As long as the devil and his demons have human partnerships they can thus exploit, they are on some level permitted to run rampant. “The occultists understand the legal access they are granted when rituals happen,” said Pastor Jimn. “It gives them rights to build, operate, and establish strongholds. They rule and are protected by demonic principalities.”

He says he believes that this is also a time of separating the wheat from the tares. This nation does have a godly foundation, he notes, but we cannot deny the fact that freemasonry was, unfortunately, a part of this nation’s history as well. God is exposing all of this to intercessors for their strategic prayers.

Then, at 6 p.m. on July 29, the God’s Encounter weekend starts off. “We are believing God for a supernatural outpouring of His freedom, power, and deliverance,” said Pastor Jimn. “We believe God is going to save, deliver, and fill Gen Z with the power of the Holy Spirit. We must break the strongholds of our forefathers and their involvement in freemasonry as we reach Gen Z with the power of the Gospel. It’s all connected.

“Gen Z is a big part of God’s end-time strategy. They are hungry for something real and are willing to give up everything when they find it. And because they are hungry and willing to forsake all, God will use them as a catalyst for revival. God is redeeming Gen Z while simultaneously redeeming the land. He wants it all back. It’s all a part of his divine strategy. We are in the middle of what is the greatest spiritual revolution/awakening the world has ever seen, and I just want to be a part of it. If this is going to happen, then it’s going to take radical obedience, and I told God I am all in. I will do whatever You want me to do; no matter what, I’ll do it, even when it doesn’t make sense; even when others criticize or think what we are doing is unnecessary or weird. I want to bring heaven to earth. I want to see the gates of heaven established and people saved, delivered, and set free. It breaks my heart to see people bound by demons when we have the answer. It breaks my heart to see churches be defeated by an enemy. God has already paid the price for our victory. Make no mistake about it: The devil is running rampant in our nation and is in an all-out assault against humanity. What will we do?”

I want to leave you with that very question. What will you do? Do you sense God’s call to “pray on-site”? Is God revealing things to you? Because if He is, that’s a call to prayer. It often begins with a call to prayer, but when you seek Him and are obedient, He will call you to action. One pastor humbly submitted to God and said: “I’ll do anything”; and God provided the strategy. He will do this for anyone who is willing. Are you?

Father, we bless You and thank You for the revival that has already begun. Thank You for the pastors, leaders, and ordinary people who are obediently stepping out in faith and taking action. Lord, here I am too; send me too. We pray and ask for Your blessing and manifest presence over the God’s Encounter weekend. We pray for heavenly signs and wonders, as You please, beginning with the weather, so that there would be no hindrances to what You are about to do.

We pray in agreement with the thousands of intercessors who have locked arms to win Gen Z for Christ. Let every demonic stronghold be broken — over Fort Bend County, and Houston, and throughout Texas. Bind, muzzle, and gag every demonic entity trying to curse the work of God. Loose your warring angels, and bind the ruling principality behind freemasonry. When he is dethroned, we pray that the heavens will reveal a supernatural miraculous sign: that the Masonic oak tree that has become a pillar of idolatry would be destroyed in such a way that even freemasons must acknowledge: “This is the finger of God.” 

You are a redeeming God. Redeem the land, and teach us to redeem the time, because the days are evil. We pray for a mighty outpouring of Your Spirit, a “spirit of Elijah” that will turn the hearts of the children back to the Father. We praise You, Lord, because Gen Z belongs to Jesus! You are redeeming your sons and daughters, and they will prophesy. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
