The Christmas season is very busy and cluttered up with activities like
1. Getting a Christmas tree
2 Decorating the Christmas tree
3. Christmas decorating the house outside.
4. Christmas shopping for gifts at the shopping mall., and the for the Christmas wrappings. The traffic jams and congestion at near these malls is very cumbersome and time consuming.
5. Wrapping Christmas girts before they get put under the Christmas tree.
6. Hosting Christmas parties.

As the Christmas to do list continues to grow in time and resources, activities at the church tends to be put on the back burner..

Worse yet many of these Christmas activities have no basis in the Word of God.

Songs like Rudolph the red nosed raindeer, Silver Bells, Santa Claus is coming to town have no basis in Scripture..

We need to put Jesus Christ at the forefront of Christmas.

Father, give people in our nation the desire to worship you, the object of Christmas celebration, and go to church. May we be ready to invite others to the Christmas services. May our hearts be for those who are lost as your heart is for them.
