The Democrat-controlled House Judiciary Committee is set to vote next week on a resolution laying out the procedures that it will use for its investigation as they are reportedly considering moving to impeach President Donald Trump.

“The vote, which is expected to occur on Wednesday, will lay out the ground rules for conducting hearings now that the committee has publicly announced it is considering recommending articles of impeachment against Trump,” CNN reported. “It is expected to follow the precedent set in 1974 over the committee’s procedures during then-President Richard Nixon’s impeachment proceedings.” . . .
In May, American University professor Allan Lichtman, who has correctly predicted the last nine presidential elections, said that Trump would win re-election unless Democrats impeached him.

Lichtman noted that the real damage from an impeachment inquiry comes from “public hearings” and “a public trial in the Senate in which House prosecutors present evidence, present documents, make opening and closing statements.” . . .
A source told Politico that the move was intended to increase the “officialness” of Democrats’ investigations into the president, most of which have hit significant roadblocks and have been stalled.

I stand in agreement with all the prayers and comments that this direct assault from the Democratic Party will boomerang and put them in a bad light and expose their motives. Father God, as you miraculously protected the Israelites over and over again in the Old Testament by frustrating, annihilating and sending confusion into the enemy’s camps resulting in their defeat, we pray this effort will fizzle out quickly and as the song says: “May God arise and His enemies be scattered”. All this for Your Honor, Glory and the good of all your saints who profess your Son, Jesus Christ, as Lord and Savior. Victory over Satan and his destructive schemes and the canceling of all curses (especially during Halloween season) against our President and his family and all professing followers of Jesus Christ in elected office. I will pray daily and lift up our President, Donald Trump, that no weapon formed against him shall prosper and that the Lord will stop anyone who comes against him in their tracks! No impeachment!

Agree and concur with Mark Vice. May it be your Will Lord to put a block against the forces of evil in our government and among the people. May your Spirit be at work in all the halls/buildings of government and drive back the plans and schemes of the evil one/satan.

Foil every plan put forth for impeachment and thwart ever evil purpose of men. Protect and lift up Donald Trump, this unlikely Cyrus of our generation. We believe and declare that no one can undo what You have done and no one can snatch anyone out of Your powerful hands. God knows who the president of 2020 will be – I suspect it will be Trump. Evil men and nations make plans and God laughs at their attempts because with one word He could destroy them. We need to get back to fearing the LORD as a nation. Instill Lord your fear (respect, honor, allegiance) back into Your people. Make them bold as a lion, but gentle as doves. Protect President Trump from false allegations and mayhem in the spiritual realm. By the authority of Jesus and His mighty powerful Name above all Names, I bind a spirit of deceit in our government.
