Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth ordered his department to convene a “special review panel” to further probe the Biden administration’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.

The Federalist has the story:
In his directive, Hegseth disclosed that the Defense Department has been conducting “a review” throughout the past three months of what the secretary described as a “catastrophic event in our military’s history.” Based on the probe’s findings, Hegseth “concluded that we need to conduct a comprehensive review to ensure that accountability for this event is met and that the complete picture is provided to the American people.”
The memo tasks Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs and Senior Advisor Sean Parnell to “convene a Special Review Panel (SRP) for the Department who will thoroughly examine previous investigations.” As noted in a Defense Department press release, Parnell spent 485 days stationed in Afghanistan and was “wounded in action” along with many of his fellow soldiers.
According to the directive, the agency’s Parnell-led investigation will “include but [is] not limited to, findings of fact, sources, witnesses, and analyz[ing] the decision making that led to one of America’s darkest and deadliest international moments.”
Secretary Hegseth wrote that the panel will “ensure ACCOUNTABILITY to the American people.”
Shortly after he was confirmed, Secretary Hegseth promised his department would investigate the Afghanistan withdrawal. Now, months later, this investigation is evolving. Clearly, the Department of Defense has found a great deal of concerning information!
Throughout this entire process, even all the way back in February, Secretary Hegseth has promised that accountability is coming. Let’s pray in agreement with him!

Father, we thank You for the creation of this special review panel. We ask You to give its members wisdom, and we pray they would bring accountability where it is needed.
For some reason, I watched a documentary on Osama Bin Laden & at the end wondered how in the world, we could have abandoned the country & left MILLIONS, if not BILLIONS, of dollars in equipment behind, only to find it circulating through Islamic nations!
Father, we ask for EXPOSURE to the truth of this highly suspicious matter. We declare the Spirit of Truth will be in charge of this investigation & that there will be reparations for this waste & possible hidden support of the terrorist world!

How we need accountability in our federal government!! An investigation of what happened in Afghanistan is overdue but now God has given us the best men to deal with it in a timely manner. May the Lord provide more accountability in all the compromised areas that have leaders or former leaders that so far have had to face no accountability for their disastrous actions that have deeply harmed the U. S. A. Also let us praise God as He works to help our country get back to our core values, founding fathers and founding paperwork that established our unique and Godly country originally. Through our Lord and Savior we have the victory over all evil. Pray and act dear people of God !!
YHVH, please grant this investigative review panel insight, wisdom, accurate intel, discernment, truth – everything they need to get an accurate picture of what happened – and the courage to demand accountability and justice. I can still feel the anger, shame, incredulity, shock, and the plethora of emotions I experienced when I heard about this fiasco. I want exposure of the truth.
