From the Daily Wire:

According to the BBC, the head of Hamas’ military wing in Gaza told mediators from Egypt and Qatar that Hamas will not agree to the peace deal put forth by President Trump.

“Izz al-Din al-Haddad is thought to believe the plan was designed to finish Hamas, whether the group accepts it or not, and so is determined to fight on,” the BBC reported, adding that Hamas know that if they release the Israeli hostages, they will lose any leverage they have.

Hamas’ military wing “holds greater sway over proceedings given that it holds the 48 hostages remaining in Gaza, only 20 of whom are thought to be alive,” Arab News acknowledged.

The Daily Wire notes that Izz al-Din al-Haddad is a key leader in Hamas, having led guerrilla warfare in northern Gaza. According to the Daily Wire, he is also seen as the successor to Mohammad Deif, a key figure in the October 7 attacks that killed over a thousand Jews and started this yearslong conflict.

This is not the first time Hamas has rejected a U.S.-proposed peace deal, but it will hopefully be the last. President Trump and Netanyahu stressed during their joint press conference that this peace deal does not require Hamas’ agreement, and the President even said that Netanyahu would have his full support to wipe our the terrorist group entirely if it did not agree.

This was is not closer to ending than ever before. Even though Hamas has voiced its disagreement, let’s pray for an end to the war against terror in Gaza, and let’s pray for victory for Israel!

Lord I pray that Hamas not accepting the deal will lead to their obliteration. I celebrate the chance this gives Israel to free both Israel and Gaza from the hold of this terrorist group. Please Lord I ask for your favor here. Free the middle east of these terror groups! Hezbollah as well! Let there be peace among the peoples. Victory against Iranian terror as well. Praying for all the Islamic States and Israel to accept Chriat as their savior. Amen

Heavenly Father, we look to Your word for wisdom and understanding at this time. Israel did not seek war, they sought peace. This war was thrust upon them by Hamas. Hamas in the Bible means “violence”. We seek an end to this war and against the terror in Gaza. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and the nation of Israel. Psalm 52:3-11 reminds us war against Your people is not new. We speak to the evil “Why do you boast of your evil, brave fellow? God’s faithfulness never ceases. Your tongue devises mischief, like a sharpened razor that works treacherously. You prefer evil to good, the lie, to speaking truthfully. Selah. You love all pernicious words, treacherous speech. So God will tear you down for good, will break you and pluck you from your tent, and root you out of the land of the living. Selah. The righteous, seeing it, will be awestruck; they will jibe at him, saying, “here was a fellow who did not make God his refuge, but trusted in his great wealth, relied upon his mischief.” But I am like a thriving olive tree in God’s house; I trust in the faithfulness of God forever and ever. I praise You forever, for You have acted, I declare that Your name is good in the presence of Your faithful ones.

To any whom would call upon Your name and seek Your will, You will answer them. Thank You LORD! We speak salvation and everlasting life. Return and reunite those taken hostage to their families in Israel. Watch over the decisions of President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu, grant them wisdom from Your throne. Send Your ministering angels to the IDF and surround them with supernatural protection. Change the hearts of Israel’s enemies, that they might desire the presence of You and seek a better way forward. All these things we pray in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Lord, I pray for President Trump and Netanyahu that no room would be given to Hamas to divide Israel. Since Israel land belongs to you almighty God. Netanyahu needs to go in and eliminate Hamas altogether. Let President Trump support these efforts. In Jesus’ name.

Father, I do ask for peace in Israel. Guide Netanyahu to do what needs doing. I pray for the hostages that remain alive in Gaza that they would know you and find grace to help in their need. I pray for their families to have your comfort and to find you in all their pain. May Hamas’s decision not to accept the peace proposal bring favor to Israel. I pray the defeat of Hamas would be soon and that you would draw both Israel and Gaza to you.
