What do you think about the Church, the blood-bought Bride of Christ, called to be without spot or blemish? Do you have a sense that something might be missing? Does she resemble the early Church that turned the world upside down (or right side up!), and does she love people as Jesus does? Most important, if her Bridegroom were to return right now, would she be ready to receive Him? My prayerful purpose in writing this is for each of us to humbly examine ourselves before the Lord.

In December 2018, during a time of prayer, I sensed the Lord say: “I’m hitting the reset button. I’m resetting My churches. They have become programmed. They are loyal to leaders, denominations, and ministries, but not to Me. They have lost their focus. I long to cut the strings and bring freedom. There will be fire, but the fire of My holiness. My remnant cannot be bought. They are marked by obedience to Me and My holiness.”
This was directed specifically to the Church. The Lord was calling for His Church to return to her first love and her former ways. We had drifted and were blissfully unaware.
Right before COVID hit, the Lord kept giving me dreams directed at His Church. These dreams were filled with themes of pride, greed, lust, and the idolatry of spiritual leaders, and even of empty altars. I know the Lord was calling for intercession for the Church because the Bride was unprepared. Not only were we unprepared concerning the pandemic, but we were also spiritually unprepared as the Bride of Christ.
When 2020 came, the pandemic exposed the Church. We were not loving one another. Instead, we were divided against and fighting each other over anything and everything. Many abandoned fellowship, even after the restrictions were lifted. We were unrecognizable.
I hadn’t thought much else of what the Lord spoke about the reset, until recently, while enjoying a late dinner with two dear friends. I heard three different stories that grieved my heart about Christians just like us.
First, one friend was waiting for a Christian concert to begin at a church. An elderly man came in and sat down in a row in front of her. He began scrolling nude pictures on his phone. Yes, while sitting in a church. In shock, the woman tapped him, and he put his phone away. Throughout the concert, this same man lifted his hands in worship as if nothing had ever happened.
Second, a friend went to a restaurant on a Sunday. The waiter began to tell her that he and the other staff dreaded serving Christians after church. “They are the worst,” he said. “They are rude, and they don’t tip.” (She humbly apologized for the way he and his coworkers had been treated by Christians.)
Finally, another friend shared that a prominent female minister held a conference in her city. Normally, the minister is bombarded by people afterwards, those who want something from her. (My friend, who attended the conference, brought the woman water without expecting anything in return. The woman was moved by that simple act of service, with no motives.)
These were just a few stories, imagine how many more there are like this. These stories reveal the condition of the Bride of Christ. Impure. Rude. Self-seeking. Oblivious.
So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” (2 Corinthians 5:20 NLT).
As Christians we bear the name of Christ. We are His representatives. How was Christ represented in those three stories? And before we get extra judgy, as we might tend to do, let’s ask ourselves, “How am I presenting Jesus to those who know me and those who don’t?”
Some may think the things that happen in church are a trivial matter, but this should matter to us, because it matters to Jesus.
Seven churches in Asia received letters from the Lord. Six of those churches received both commendation and rebuke, except for the church of Philadelphia.
Ephesus abandoned her first love. Pergamum allowed the teaching of Balaam into her church. Balaam was a soothsayer parading as a prophet. Balaam was a stumbling block to God’s people — when he couldn’t curse them, he enticed them to commit sexual sins. Thyatira was rebuked for letting Jezebel lead people astray into idolatry and sexual immorality. Sardis was guilty of being a great pretender. She had a reputation for being alive, but the Lord said she was dead. Wake up Sardis! Laodicea was the lukewarm church who couldn’t make up her mind if she was in or out for Jesus (see Revelation 2 and 3).
Does any of this sound like modern-day churches? These issues that plagued the first-century churches are present among the Body today. Are we lukewarm? We love Jesus, but we love what the world offers too. Are we doing lip service on Sundays and living fruitless, disobedient lives all the other days? Have we been deceived by Jezebel and her prophets? Have we gone the way of Balaam’s greed, idolatry, and immorality? Have we abandoned our first love? Do we honestly love Jesus and people as we used to?
IFA readers know about the globalist “Great Reset” and draconian plans for our nation and the world. Our attention has been completely drawn to the idea of a reset in connection to governmental tyranny. But what if the Lord wants a reset for His Church so that we repent and return to our first love, becoming the Church in words and deed?
My son and I love to read the book of Acts together. When he reads about these wild miracles and stories of 3,000 people saved as a result of one man’s preaching, he says, “I wish I could do that.” I’ve told him, just as I’m telling you, “You can do everything that’s written in that book, because the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead, the same Spirit that the disciples received, is in You.”
It’s that simple, but we tend to complicate things by adding our own formulas and theories of how the Church should be.
Jesus only said what He heard His Father say, and did what He saw His Father do. The apostles never had programs or formulas, they only did what they saw Jesus do. If we are willing to lay down our ways and notions and do it His way, then we can do it too. We can have the same impact as the early Church.
God wants to “reset” the Church and let the fire of His holiness transform us. Why not let Him have His way?

I feel this is an excellent article for all Christians. I count myself as one and fully agree that we need to choose to emulate Christ’s life and teachings as much as we can to be ready for him individually and as Christians. I believe that our being ready to meet him depends on us making improvement everyday to become more like him in our character and how we treat others. I do believe however that a lot of the organization of his church he set up was lost. For example, apostles, Prophets, the priesthood and so forth. I believe those things that were lost were restored later on by Christ with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Whether or not you agree with me, I rejoice to be with fellow Christians and like minded in our quest to become more like him in an ever darkening world. God can turn evil things to wise purposes if we choose to turn to him and allow the opposition to strengthen us with his support as we change to become more like him. I look forward to the day of his second coming!
The problem with the LDS church is they don’t believe that both Jesus and the Father are eternally God. Going forward, yes, but going back in time, no. They achieved their deity status sequentially rather than being God in essence for all time and eternity. This allows for their belief that Satan and Jesus were spirit brothers, something that absolutely can’t be true if Jesus is co-eternally deity. There’s a lot more I could address about your church’s beliefs, but until you get that one right there isn’t any point.
During prayer today I heard: My Church was like a violin played by a master musician. The sound went forth and many responded to the sweet music. The Church today is one of discordant notes and broken strings in the bow. It’s sound repels. But I am tuning up the strings and cutting off the loose ends and bringing a bow full of strings to sound a new note. In these last days shall go forth a sweet sound once again as I fine tune my Glorious Church without spot or wrinkle to send forth the sweet message that Jesus saves those who hear Him and receive Him as Savior.
For the first time in 3 years, this article and the comments addressed my confusion and lead me to pray accordingly.
I knew the Sunday morning when I woke up and learned the “government” was closing the churches that this was not as it appeared.
The Holy Spirit pierced my heart and I knew there was something very wrong.
I emailed my former pastor to beg him not to close the church.
I have borrowed a prayer from one of the intercessors to commit to everyday,
Praying the remnant’s light will shine so bright that others will be given full sight and led away from their darkness and know the truth which is the only way to freedom,

May we, the Body of Messiah in North America embrace Him who is the Truth and the Truth of His Word to us: Return to Me and I will return to you! I was reading this in Amos today: chapter 4 Come to Bethel, and transgress; at Gilgal multiply transgression; and bring your sacrifices every morning, and your tithes after three years: And offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, and proclaim and publish the free offerings: for this liketh you, O ye children of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.
And this in Chapter 5: For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live: But seek not Bethel, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beersheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Bethel shall come to nought. Seek the LORD, and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Bethel.
And I know God speaks through the OT prophets in symbolism, and Jesus also spoke in parables which his disciples asked him to interpret.
I wondered what God was saying in these passages, and Gloria Robles, it is what your article is talking about as well!
When Gilgal is first mentioned it just after Joshua and tge Isrealites crossed the Jordan, God told them to set up a memorial of 12 rocks from the river to mark the spot for future generations, the men were also circumcised there, but as it is with people, it may have became like a pilgrimage, a spiritual place to visit, a religious experience or thing to do, tge NT teaches us that God wants our hearts circumcised more than bodies…circumcision had also become religious…as fir Bethel, it means House of God..How many equate attending church as seeking God? Or reading commentaries and spiritual books? It isn’t the same as SEEKING HIM…He exhorts us in Amos to SEEK HIM, not pilgrimages, not churches…which teach ABOUT HIM…He wants us to SEEK HIM the person intimately. BEERSHEBA, that’s the place where Hagar was visited by the angel after she was cast out with her son by Abraham and Sarah. GOD promised to make Ishmeal a nation because he was Abraham’s seed, although not the heir of promise. It was also the location of a well that Ambibilacs men tried to steal from Abraham until Abraham and Ambiblac made a covenant over it stating that Abraham dug it.
God dug the spiritual well for us through Christ, Jesus is the living water. He is even faithful to those who have some seed of the word but who aren’t necessarily the true heirs (yet) but are still being tutored by the law, He wants to get us IN HIM (the WORD IS Christ, John teaches us that,) IN CHRIST out of religion, into truth. Free in DEED. There are spiritual gifts of teachers and prophets to edify the church but we are supposed to seek HIM above them…evidence that we are off course are the things mentioned in your article. GOD counsels through Amos to seek HIM before a fire breaks out in our life that is so bad that even the church is no help. When we have no where else to turn for a word or miracle God will be there faithfully waiting with open arms but why wait until it comes to that. Why take this precious love of our creator for granted. Seek HIM now and live.

Very convicting, and some answers to some of my recent prayers and questions. Thank you for posting this. I now have some more direction for seeking the Lord.
I was grateful for the Black Robe Regiment pastors-,that stood against the tyrant globalists..during the onset of the LIE of the covid debacle.. that most were deceived by. ..the majority of those churches that stayed closed-, when they reopened ..were only too happy to comply by wearing masks.. those churches have gone back to doing the same old thing. Tragically the churches that required their members to get the poison jab.. are responsible for weakening those persons resolve-, and the harm and death that have come to their families.
Lord please forgive the Christian church in America that is unaware of American history and how the founders gave their lives their fortunes and their sacred honor to bring Christianity to this continent..as we made a covenant with God which he honored in the beginning..and although we HAD broken that Covenant- we are in the throes of repentance ..and Revival- ( asbury and more) has begun.. remembering that Revival is usually not that noticeable at the time it is happening.
but in hindsight over the years of History ..we can see Lord that this is the third Great Awakening.. and revival. Thank you for that Lord.. in Jesus mighty name-, Amen

Yes indeed. A Church reset is still necessary.
We have moved a considerable distance closer to God and to cleanliness than where we were 3 years ago, but we each still have cleaning that needs done in us.
I have prayed for something in particular for over 30 years and just today “GOT” why I have not received it yet.
I have been focused on the experience I crave and not on THE ONE from Whom it will come!
I know scripture and I know and have experienced His answers in other things. I know in my head to “Seek first the Kingdom of God and all these THINGS will be added to you.”, but it finally JUST clicked into my heart.
I feel by sharing this others may have that “Ah hah” moment in their own heart and mind.

NOTE: The verse in Peter specifically tells us that our Lord will 1st deal with His people before everyone else. As for Chron., it clearly states: “If MY PEOPLE”. For some reason, many seemingly skip this part. They seem to think that God’s referring to ‘the other guy’.
Lord, we pray that we do not displease You or misrepresent You. Help us Lord to obey You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
Its true we allowed our love to grow cold and lost our devotion to the Lord . we need to get on our knee’s and ask Him to restore us to our first love
This is so important to me that I have printed it and will see that it is read every Thursday night that my Life group meets. We know that Christ told three of His disciples that there would be a falling away from the church and that has certainly happened. That in its self gives us reason to reset, and start living for Jesus. We must become more like Him. My prayer is that we do that.
Jesus says 34 times: “It is written” and as the New Testament did not exist at that time, WHERE was it written?? Jesus celebrated Passover (like the last supper), Hanukkah, the Sabbath, etc. If we are to be more like Jesus, shouldn’t we follow what is written, as Jesus did?? Shouldn’t we follow God’s commandments: In Leviticus 23:2 God says: “These are MY sacred mo∙a∙dim and you shall keep them” and then enumerates them in 23:3-43. If Jesus kept them, shouldn’t we?? (BTW, as stated in the catholic doctrines, the catholic church changed the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday on its own authority.)
Father, let revival start with me and my house. And let Your Church in this nation return to you! Help us, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

The church has made it “all about” the church and in the process we’ve lost sight of the kingdom of God on earth. It is all about the kingdom! The church is a product of the kingdom, not the other way around. Lord, help we who make up your church return to You and Your kingdom on earth. Through Jesus our Lord; may it so be.
Father forgive us for loving other things besides you . May you take first place in our hearts . Remove from us the things that pull us from that place . Oh how we need you . More than anything else .

Amen and Amen! This article is so spot on and what I feel the Spirit of the Lord is saying right now, to the church. I believe God has placed this on the hearts of His people to persevere in fervent prayer for the reset of His church. I have put it at the top of my prayer list and weep for the repentance and return of the church. God is good. His word is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword. If we pray God’s word over His church, He will move on the power of unity within the remnants and the church will rise up again. Holy Father, I agree with my sisters and brothers in faith, that You are now performing the great reset of the church! You are not coming back for a defeated, sinful broken church. You are coming back for a beautiful Bride, radiant with the love of Jesus shining through. Set us on fire Lord, like in the day of Pentecost! Let Your Spirit and fire fall upon the church so that we can go out like the disciples did and bring in the final harvest. Thank You Abba for Your patience, mercy and grace You give us over and over. So not a new concept, but thankfully, TODAHs Forever Lord! For this, our, generation’s ‘new’ thing YOU are doing!
I believe the Lord wants revival in our churches. Our current issue in our country stems from the church refusing to take a stand on moral truth questions. We have decided to accept everyone which is what the Lord wants but along with that we have not taught God’s moral laws through is word. No longer do we hear about while God is a loving God he also is going to pass judgement on the sin and evil we do here. WE can love gays, trans, adultors, idolitors, addicts but we no longer work at trying to move them lovingly away from a sinful lifestyle. We have compromised God’s word and truth. We must learn to separate the the person from the sin. Love them but not condone the sin. I worry we have become as the German church of the 30s. God’s truth must be spoken. There is a hell and a heaven and we must not compromise His word.. My prayer is for the church to stand as God has called us. For too long we have remained silent as
a silent majority, unfortunately we now are going to become the silent minority if there is not revival and repentance of all of us who call ourselves by Christ name. God please help America
Amen Jackie, forgive us LORD for going silent, or just getting mad at sinners….we repent and seek Your face, we ask You to wash us of our own sinful thoughts, feelings and fill us with YOUR love, really enjoy Your love, for us and others and then find ways to pour out Your love in this world when we get ‘jostled’. Do Your will Your way.
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your word of truth and the wisdom found in it. In Jeremiah 35 You tested the Recabites to drink wine. They declined because they followed the command given by Jonadab (their forefather) on how to live, even when they had to move, They chose not to turn away from the teachings. God then spoke to Judah “Each of you must turn from your wicked ways and reform your actions; do not follow other gods to serve them. Then you will live in the land I have given to you and your fathers.” Lord we take the teaching and promises that You give today on returning to the covenant with You and the one made with our forefathers. Forgive us for turning aside from You (we repent) and rejecting Your priceless instructions. Please speak with us now and show us by Your word and Your will how to return to You. We thank You that Your mercies are new every morning. Raise up Your banner once again in this nation and take the full glory for it. In Jesus’ steadfast name. Amen.
I, too, have been led many times to pray for the Church for over a year now. My prayers seem to be for those who really do know and love Christ; who spend time in prayer with him and who desire to please him but who have been constantly harassed by the enemy for way too long and have lost sight of the fact that we have the power you described in your post above. It’s for those who DO understand but are so beat down by hard circumstances and have such minimal support of organized churches that they are weak, finding it difficult to find the Spirit stirred up in them to fill them with the strength they need to obtain victory. Father God, I pray for all of those believers in Christ who have been attacked relentlessly for so long and who are not only weary but overwhelmed. Restore our spirits within us! Look upon our weak prayers and see us as Jesus – righteous by his blood – and come in your mercy to bring us answers, boldness, courage and hope! Intervene, and relive these families across our nation from enemy’s attacks by the name of Jesus!! Stand us back on our feet, better able to tend to the works of your Kingdom around us! Unite us once again! We need your deliverance, in Jesus’ Name! Help us to fall in love with your Word once more and to be the lights you’d have us be so that our communities, churches, states and nations will be restored to your GLORY! Regarding this great nation, God, I ask that you bring down Goliaths by our prayers, Lord, and that the world will see your Glory and know that the one, true God is still the God of the United States of America, a vision of hope and new beginnings to the rest of the world! Come Holy Spirit! Amen!
Yes SJ, YES! So many of us, even though regarded as “church people”. have allowed ourselves to become so distracted and weakened that the LIGHT of the AGAPE of GOD is barley noticeable.
Repentance and Forgiveness is desperately needed!
YES, YES I hunger and thirst for opportunities to again be among believers who are willing to allow the HOLY SPIRIT full freedom to speak to each and to then act upon those instructions.

Lord God Almighty Praise you for your work in me to believe
Matthew 3:8 Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, means fruit like doing Luke 10:10-11
10 But whatever city you enter, and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say, 11 ‘The very dust of your city which clings to [a]us we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this, that the kingdom of God has come near you.’
Even if that city is a church I have been going to for years! or no matter how many churches refuse to receive me bringing your word!
The Bible tells us that signs and wonders follow the preaching of the word. If the miraculous is more important to us than the word, we will have neither. Let us preach the gospel and let Jesus do the miracles through us. But let the miracles not be the main thing. The power is in the word not in the miracle. Miracles did not change hearts in Moses’ day nor in Jesus’ day. But they were done out of compassion not to prove anything. Also, we probably should redefine the word Christian. Fruit proves the root.

Darrel, thank you for that good, heartfelt question I have heard many voice, in response to many issues.
First, honestly, each ‘church’, that is congregation who worships the One True Jesus, as our oldest once said, will serve its community in different ways, depending on the needs of the community and the resources Poppa God provides in that congregation.
With your question, do you mean to ask how can we, The Church, more global Body/Bride of Jesus, The Messiah, what would we do? I believe our Messiah Jesus already told us, love the Lord your God with all you got and are and love one another as you love yourself, as I have loved you, love well, much and without hypocrisy.
May we love like HIM. For His glory, honor and pleasure!
You folks are Protestants, so might totally disagree with what I am about to say. While I was growing up, Protestants would have nothing to do with Catholics which in turn prompted us to have nothing to do with Protestants. Protestants told me my parents were going to hell for being Catholics, and unless I repented and became Protestant, I too would go to hell. It became a self-serving vicious circle for all of us, both churches. For the last 10 or so years, the Lord has commanded me to forgive, and pray that we all become one Body of Christ. Christians must find a way to pray and work together, or satan will win! Our enemy is not each other but Satan, his evil spirits and human agents, or as the Bible says “principalities and powers”! Let us love one another and join together in this fight against satan and powers of evil. In Christ Jesus is our only hope, and He commanded us to be “one as He and the Father are one”!

So sadly, we frail humans have fallen for Satan’s lies! None, absolutely none of us have all of the TRUTH.

Exactly and Amen! More and more we are focused on titles, rules and regulations and ideaologies, when we should be focused on Jesus. We are the pharisees and the saducees, seeking to be right and above others to make ourselves feel better. Only when we decide to focus on loving and serving others will we be united and more like Christ. Thank you for posting, and may God grant you a special blessing this week so that you “see” and feel His guiding presence more than ever!
Come Holy Spirit and take us captive to Yourself. Fill us with a desire to be more like Jesus. Show us the ‘way’ we need to go! Help us to see the Light of this world and have us follow Him that knows the Way. Remind us often that “I love Jesus and Jesus loves me”.

Great article. Is it possible that God is using the chaos in our nation to bring people back to Him? Does this suffering we encounter watching our nation go off the rails lead us to that quiet place of surrender? Is this what it is going to take to wake us up and realize that the self is the opaque veil that hides the life of God from us? Has the church been so focused on trying to preserve ourselves, our wealth, our peace, our freedom, our happiness, that we are desperately holding on to things that are carnal rather than that which is eternal?
The church is in bad shape, but our patient God is executing His plan of redemption for His entire creation. This plan includes us, His beloved church. One-way or another we will come into this role as mature believers. Let us not fret by what what we see. For the unseen is more important than what we see. Trust God that he is orchestrating this plan. Put your hope in the eternal promises, not in anything on this earth. Surrender to Him, then step out and obey Him by loving others and demonstrating the manifold wisdom of God to a fallen world and to the very forces of darkness we wrestle with.

Yes. I believe yes the suffering has brought many to a place of surrender. Even to actively praying in the Spirit, according to the Spirit too..instead of just self serving lip service…which is what I have seen a lot of in the past ten years or so. Even done myself at times I confess. Yes, often times it took pain and suffering for God’s people to wake out of their slumber and open active rebellion against God…there really is nothing new under the sun, even our rebellion to our Savior and Lord, at times.
I could kiss and massively bear hug for that one statement, with trying to preserve our own wealth, rather than pursuing God’s kingdom….I have no doubt God cares for our comfort, but we, the American church, love our own comfort way too much. May Poppa God forgive us for not being more vocally grateful for those comforts, from HIM. And may we be more compassionate toward those who have less than we do. Why are you calling them Christians when they repeatedly show they clearly are not. Just because they sit in a church doesn’t mean they are saved believers. But take heart. I know of many who in 2020 believers that grew close to God like never before. Glory to God!

allowed me to choose to take the IF out of the way and the message works for me. My people which are called by My name will humble themselves seek My face turn from their wicked ways and pray then I will hear from Heaven and heal their land. I realize we live in a microwave society and everyone wants it right now. I can see His hand moving even now in all the midst of the evil going on in the world today. Just relate it as in the days of Noah when the wickedness of the world was a stitch in His nostrils. He destroyed the world with a great flood. He gave us a rainbow as a soon that that He wouldn’t do that again. Now look what the rainbow represents. Or Abraham when Abraham was praying for Lot in Sodom it mirrors what is going on today. He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. His wish is that all men would come after Him but knows they won’t. The signs all point to a very tough time for the world and that time is to pray not so much for ourselves but for the world. That would resuscitate the world and we would call that revival. WOW what a friend we have in Jesus.

Let’s make the main thing, the main thing. Nothing else is more important than JESUS. The church is ill prepared to be the “bride without spot or wrinkles “. Lord, we repent for allowing the rule of man, the attacks of the enemy and it’s blinding to cause us to become a mamby pamby church. We wholeheartedly repent for allowing all distractions and self complacency drive us away from the role you have granted us. We want to become the real body of Christ and as it says in Psalm 107, we repent, renounce and break all those unholy associations and consecrate ourselves to you. Forgive us Lord and restore us in Jesus name.
I pray for the church in America every day. So many congregations have fallen into one of two traps: either embracing the world with the vain hope that by being “relevant,” more people will come in and fill the seats (and coffers); or else rejecting all outsiders and establishing a “club” where the self-satisfied can look down on the sinners outside their walls. The first type is poisoned by liberalism and humanism; the second by legalism and exclusion. The first type aligns with denominationalism and corporate leadership; the second with overbearing personalities and rigid conformity. God’s church must reject all of this and return to righteousness: the love of Jesus, the Word of God.
In 2 Chronicles 7 God says: ” If my people, among whom my Name is called upon, do humble themselves, and pray and seek my presence, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear in heaven and be merciful to their sin, and will [f]heal their land: Then mine eyes shall be open and mine ears attent unto the prayer made in this place. ”

So many people here now disenchanted with the Church. It is asleep and in bed with the enemy. The churches closed down, implemented strict government regulation (including requiring proof of Vax) and the app to prove it. Pastors took money from the government. Many have left the church awaiting the Lord’s leading for raise up faithful leaders and begin a new movement in obedience.
The Lord has a plan and we are preparing!

Just as public education has been exposed for the evil so have churches be exposed and the need for many to awake and come out of their slumber and mediocrity. Many churches closed and never reopened and I believe there was no life there to come back too as the reason. Many churches compromising with Jezebel to accommodate current culture and the church is bowing down and conforming to the world instead of no conforming and being transformed by the renewing of our minds. Scripture says come out from among them and be separate says the Lord and we haven’t done that. Pastors haven’t preached the TRUTH and as one has said silence in the pulpit leads to fog in the pew and there is too much comfort and complacency in the church. I am a bit surprised by the story of “Christians not tipping”. While tipping should be the result of good food and service, I have been taught to do the opposite…to help brighten up their day by finishing with a smiling and “God bless you”. We do not know what their day was like or what they are going through. But we can show the love of Christ through our presence and support.
I received this word from Holy Spirit 4/23 “ the American church must fall on her knees & repent. The church is part of the problem of how America has come to this point. The church is self righteous & indignant to sin but offers no options . Just a watered down gospel with no power!
This is a good and needful word. I pray for my church to be committed to prayer—which is powerful because it touches the heart of God. I pray for us to get equipped as representatives of Jesus to know how to set the captives free. I pray that we will stand for righteousness, and love and proclaim Jesus even when it brings persecution.

I am grateful for this writing…more like an announcement. I can relate as the Lord spoke to me about the same time the year before the pandemic. I personally have been repenting and seeking God for Mty own personal reset and obedience to the spirit.
Led to a group of senior women, the Lord has kit us up to g o out again as we did when we first met Him. Return to our First Love. Not where I want to be yet but I trust God is continuing to draw us. At 80 one woman was praying for a neighbor she was walking with in her community about her health and saw God heal heal. Personally, I have ask ABBA FATHER to forgive me for taking two doses of the vaccine. Now all 3 arteries in both legs are totally blocked. And the vascular surgeon has advised against surgery to open them. All we can do is to continue to depend upon the collateral vessels that have formed to keep my legs adequately alive. And to avoid any bruising or injuries.

Very well said. The church does need to reset itself. We need to work on personal weaknesses, sin in our life, and put Jesus truly first. Need to live Sunday mornings everyday. Besides trying to win souls Christians need to do the basics of loving God first and, through our love of him love others. These stories are a painful reminder that many Christians are struggling how to treat their neighbors, co-workers, friends and own families. While I have not been blessed with a wife and kids my efforts to treat others as I want to be treated, stay in God’s word and work on those things that need work to make me a better example of Jesus’ hands and feet on earth motivate all my days on earth. If we can’t show ourselves as his worthy workmanship than how can we expect the “world” to come to know Jesus?
Lastly politics alone won’t solve our problems. The best solutions are found through the love of Christ; the only way to solving personal and national problems. The start is as basic as following John 14:6-8 from whence demonstrating the love and conversions in Acts 2:38.
