At the beginning of the year, IFA launched America’s Spiritual Heritage Project (ASHP) as we approached our nation’s 250th anniversary on July 4, 2026. Many state leaders and intercessors put their boots on the ground across their states and rededicated entities to the Lord. Some states saw answers happen almost immediately after rededicating. IFA Florida State Leader Anita Lynott shared an amazing story of how God used their intercession and rededication to unlock something powerful in their state. I pray this encourages you.

“On April 25th, Florida intercessors gathered in Naples for the Gatekeepers event. IFA CEO David Kubal asked us to pray and make the proclamation over the county. As I prayed, I felt strongly that God had taken off a cap that had been keeping His Holy Spirit from moving freely in that area.  Donna Tolliver, FL Co-State Leader, and I also did our ASHP proclamation and rededication of the county. Little did I know then that what I sensed as a release would also be followed by the exposure of so much evil across our state,” Anita said.

Since we kicked off ASHP, we have seen many rededications across our state. Then, especially after we held the IFA FL Gatekeepers event in Naples, we began to notice a significant shift. One of the most prominent things we have witnessed has been the arrests of individuals involved in human and sex trafficking rings and predators. I don’t know why these arrests began happening after the event, but it has been phenomenal to see God exposing people who have been committing these horrific crimes against children.”

Here are some of the testimonies Anita shared. 

• About a week after Florida’s Gatekeepers event and rededication, twenty individuals were arrested in an undercover sting against child predators, including a gentleman who had been playing Santa at a mall and community events for many years in Polk County.
• On August 28, 2026, Florida news reported that 163 children were recovered across six states, Puerto Rico, and 12 countries as part of Operation Statewide Shield, the largest child recovery effort in Florida history. The children were victims of abuse, exploitation, and human trafficking, and were exposed to criminal activities. The children ranged in age from 2 months to 17 years old.  The rescues include 46 children in Tampa Bay, 41 in Miami, 32 in Jacksonville, 21 in Orlando, 12 in Fort Myers, 8 in Pensacola, and three in Tallahassee. 
• A doggy daycare owner in New Smyrna Beach was arrested when it was reported that there was a hidden camera in a restroom for several months, watching women undress; one subject was a child. 
• A man was arrested after sexually assaulting a four-year-old girl at Lowe’s.
• In Clearwater, Florida, a young man, later identified as a Pastor, said he was meeting to bring people closer to Christ when he met with a 14-year-old girl. 
• On September 7, 2026, a couple was arrested for allegedly confining four children inside a tractor-trailer cab, starving them, and sexually abusing them for over six years.
• Most recently, 15 men were arrested in Pinellas County during Operation Cyber Shield, targeting online predators who intended to meet and engage in sexual acts with minors. 

“For years, IFA Florida has been praying about the human and sex trafficking issue in our state. We rank number three in the nation for trafficking, so this has been a significant prayer point for us and something we have been faithfully praying into. I truly believe that we are seeing a shift that began when we rededicated our state to the Lord. To me, these developments represent a significant answer to prayer.

I am very encouraged by what we are seeing and believe this is an important time to continue praying, standing in the gap, and asking God to bring hidden things into the light. I believe we are witnessing the power of prayer, repentance, rededication, and the proclamation of God’s truth. What has unfolded since that time has been remarkable, and I believe it is important to document what we have seen and experienced during this year of ASHP,” Anita said.

Even though the date July 4, 2026, has passed, we are technically still in our 250th year. AHSP wasn’t about a moment; it was to create a movement. A place for intercessors to gather in faith, put boots on the ground, and use their God-given authority to speak, declare, and proclaim His goodness and promises, and His name above every other name. What God is doing in Florida is proof that our intercession and obedience are not in vain. What God has done here, He can also do in your state. 

Father, we give thanks to You, for You are good and Your mercy endures forever. Lord, we pray that You will finish the good work that You have begun through the ASHP proclamations that took place across the nation. We know that every intercessory prayer, every declaration, and recounting of Your Presence in this nation’s history was not in vain. We know we have a promise: Your Word will never return void, but it will accomplish and prosper where You send it. And we come into agreement with that word. We pray for the fruit of answered prayers, the spoils of intercession, to continue across the nation, just as You are doing in Florida. Lord, do it in my state too. Give us divine strategies and show us how to pray with insight; reveal anything that is hindering a move of Your Spirit, in Jesus name, amen.
