Today, we’re praying for worldwide peace along with intercessors around the globe. As we pray, IFA is helping to host a Global Day of Prayer for Peace webinar. We’ve also launched a companion prayer guide, which is linked at the bottom of this article. The following text is from a compact version of that prayer guide.
Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you. And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising (Isaiah 60:1-3).
Praying for peace in the midst of conflict
In a world facing ongoing conflicts—war in Ukraine, tensions in the Middle East, and rising global unrest—the Church is called to intercede for peace. Join us on June 21, 2025, for a Global Day of Prayer for Peace, seeking God’s presence and wisdom for nations and leaders. Use this guide to pray during the event or as a framework for ongoing intercession. Pray for a powerful time of intercession, breaking spiritual strongholds and uniting the body of Christ (Eph 6:12).

Iran’s aggression through proxies like Hamas and Yemen, coupled with rising antisemitism, fuels conflict with Israel. As missiles fly and alliances shift, pray for God’s protection and peace.

I use my own prayers inspired by the Holy Spirit but sometimes after days of praying on a topic I can expand my prayers by joining with yours. I also like to know I’m part of a larger force bringing concerns and praise to the foot of the throne of God. What an honor. Dear Heavenly Father. Today is a holy day of prayer around the World.
I Thank IFA for putting this on and bringing people across the World as
one in the Spirit of Our Lord. We are asking for PEACE to come into the
many lands that are fighting in a War now. Please Bless and stop the
War of Ukraine and Russia and now Israel and Iran. There will always
be Wars and Rumors of Wars until Christ returns. It is really a War against
Good vs. Evil. I pray that all Christians alike will come together and pray
against the dark forces of evil that try to take over on a daily basis.
I ask that God intervene when the evil one is trying to take over in Countries,
families, work places and the Military. Lord you are the one who has already
written our books and the books of each Nation. It is our duty to turn the page.

I joined into the call via “audio” today! Dave Kubal shared the Scripture “Jeremiah 1:10” at the start of the webinar: “I’ve given U a job to do among nations & governments-a red-letter day! Your job is to pull up & tear down, take apart & demolish, & then start over, building & planting.” Look what happened so very near the time of the global prayer call: three of Iran’s nuclear sites were taken out making the world a safer place for people around the globe! YHVH, since Yeshua clearly said, “There will be wars and rumors of wars” during the acharit hayamim – the time of the end – I will pray that Your peace beyond comprehension would grip the hearts and minds of those who trust in You in the midst of these conflicts. I pray that You would use whatever circumstances You allow – whether war or peace – to further Your Kingdom by drawing people to salvation through faith in Yeshua’s atoning sacrifice. You are not limited by war or peace, because nothing is impossible with You. Where there is war, we ask that You work to bring just resolution to the conflict. We ask that You would protect non-combatants, innocent civilians, and Your children. Where You are allowing war in order to bring peace, by judging evil regimes and bringing them to destruction – may they succeed quickly with as little death and destruction as possible. Where there is peace, may the ekklesia make use of that blessing to evangelize and disciple – redeeming the time. And may times of peace not be times when we are lulled into apathy or complacency – enflame us with a fire that cannot be extinguished!
We look forward to the day of Your millennial reign, a time of enforced peace – for You will rule with a rod of iron! And we look forward to the heavenly Kingdom where there will be permanent and complete peace. Hallelu-Yah!

Lord, we pray fri peace, unity and love all across our world. May your people intercede on behalf of the wars, unjust, evil regimes, and destruction. I pray for children living in these countries would not be anxious or traumatized but you would raise them up as warriors for you God.
