Netflix has just released a “gay Jesus” Christmas special called The First Temptation of Christ.
The Brazilian comedy group Porta dos Fundos (which literally translates to “back door”) appears to have a real hang-up about our Lord and Christianity in general. Last December the group released The Last Hangover on Netflix, a movie that blends Christ’s Last Supper with his disciples and The Hangover into a night of drunken debauchery where Jesus disappears.
This year, in this new Christmas special, Jesus turns 30 and brings his gay boyfriend home to meet Mary and Joseph.
Already, 1.14 million Brazilians have signed a Change.org petition asking Netflix to remove the movie.

The setup is that Jesus (Gregório Duvivier) attends his 30th birthday surprise party with his boyfriend Orlando (Fábio Porchat). The party, thrown by José (Rafael Portugal) and Maria (Evelyn Castro), has a number of high-profile biblical guests, including God (Antonio Tabet), which prompts plenty of debate about parental rights and responsibilities as Christ grapples not just with his parentage but with his own spiritual journey.
The real story here is how Christians are reacting… Some are signing petitions, others are praying for the souls of all involved, most of us are rolling our eyes and moving on with our lives — because that’s what Christians do. We don’t lop off people’s heads, which is why it is always open season on us, which is to our credit.
If you’re a satirist, you satirize everyone equally. If you’re a bigot, you single certain groups out for mockery and place others off-limits.
[Christians and Christianity seems to be an “acceptable” target for these kinds of things. But we don’t expect to see a “Gay Mohammed” special for Ramadan from Netflix anytime soon.]

Beautifully written and articulated as the essence of praying for God’s enemies. By the exposure of this film may God’s divining rod of truth peirce the hearts of the uncommitted Believers who call themselves by His name. Give them a revelation of right and wrong, truth and justice and a spirit of discernment to sift the lies from enemies of truth. Then clothe them in righteousness and arm them with God’s sword of truth to stand before their enemies with the full strength of God’s army declaring the word of our Lord. Sound the alarm.
I know from the Bible what God’s heart is like for all of us. Perfect love because He gave His son Jesus to pay the penalty for our missing God’s mark for living. Jesus was not a drunk or gay He was God!
But God is perfect justice which he cannot change or He would not be God. He is not pleased with our implying his Son was a gay person. This goes against God’s standard from His Word the Bible.
But…God forgives when we come to Him with a repentant heart realizing Jesus died for us. John 3:16
Why are we Christians dropping our image as solders for CHRIST (2 Tim 2:3&4 & Eph 6)? We can and should ask GOD to rebuke Satan and his demoniac angels for pushing this abomination toward humanity. Let us stand strong for CHRIST every day in our prayers and with our words ( backed by scripture ),not in anger, but in a teaching manner. GOD declares boldly in all HIS WORD how and what we should teach and proclaim to the world. We call right-right and wrong- wrong ( according to scripture) by both our actions and our words. May GOD forgive our lack of HIS great strength. Praise GHRIST JESUS always!! Bobby Clements
Father, in Jesus’ name, I ask that the Holy Spirit minister somewhat strongly to everyone who watches this disgusting film. No one would be willing to waste their time viewing this garbage except for the fact that their minds have already been jacked by Satan and his demons. They need an extra measure of love, your wonderful, grace, and an infusion of truth. So I ask you to use this film as a boomerang to convict the hearts of viewers so they can know they are being stained in their souls. Make it a seed that leads them to search for truth. We already know that Satan and his demons will throw up lots of distractions for those who might have a weak and momentary desire to search for truth. So I pray that you will cause some measure of binding on the abilities of Satan’s troops to deploy distractions or temptations. Then I ask that you send tracts, good internet Christian sites, and strong and loving disciples into their lives. I even ask you to keep Christians with condemning religious spirits away from these confused people as they often do more harm than good.
As to those who created this stupid and wicked film I pray for their ultimate redemption, and that your perfect will be done in their lives.
