Wow.  Sometimes it takes a song to capture a thought.  Garth Brooks new song, “Mom” is a song going viral for its pro-life message, featuring an unborn child talking to God.  Take a listen.

From Life News:

County music legend Garth Brooks has a new song out that is bringing listening to tears because of the sweet and delicate way it handles the issue of abortion. Brooks appeared on Good Morning America recently to perform the song the and video of the performance has gone viral on social media.

garthbrooksBrooks says the song is “a conversation between God and this unborn child about ready to go down to earth. And when God describes what a mom is – whew, it kills me.”

During the tune, Brooks sings to an unborn baby who is worried about leaving Heaven for Earth:

“So hush now baby, don’t you cry,” Brooks sings in the video below. “‘Cause there’s someone down there waiting whose only goal in life / Is making sure you’re always going to be all right / A loving angel, tender, tough and strong / It’s almost time to go and meet your mom.”

The country music star said the new song rivals one of his other personal favorites, his 1990 hit “The Dance.”
