Expressing shock and disappointment that some presidential contenders, such as socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (Vt.), support abortion on demand, no restrictions, and Marxist ideas such as nationalization of industry and Cuban-style health care, Rev. Franklin Graham urged Christians “to pray for our nation” and the “upcoming elections.” He added that Americans need to register to vote, “otherwise we will lose our country.”
In a Feb. 12 post on Facebook, the evangelical leader said, “The Democratic Party has changed so much that it’s hard to believe. Just a few days ago Bernie Sanders declared that ‘being pro-choice is an absolutely essential part of being a Democrat.’ That’s shocking and disturbing.”

“He also vowed, ‘I will never nominate any person to the Supreme Court or the federal courts in general who is not 100% pro Roe v. Wade,'” said Graham, son of the late Pastor Billy Graham.
“He went further to write, ‘We have got to codify Roe v. Wade into law and significantly expand funding for Planned Parenthood,'” noted Graham. Where is the voice of those in the Democratic Party who disagree? Where’s the outcry against this and the acceptance of socialism?”
“This is an example of why it is so important for people of faith to research who you vote for in every election and understand where they stand on issues that are important to you,” said Rev. Graham. “I urge Christians to pray for our nation, our leaders, and the upcoming elections, from local to national.”
“Make sure that you are registered to vote, otherwise we will lose our country,” said Graham.
Senator Bernie Sanders, 78, is an independent who caucuses with the Democrats. For decades, Sanders has described himself as a socialist and he has praised aspects of communist/socialist regimes.
In the 1980s, Bernie Sanders praised the Marxist Sandinistas in Nicaragua. In 1988, Sanders went on a 10-day honeymoon/business trip in the Communist Soviet Union. In 1989, Sanders visited Communist Cuba.
“For better or for worse, the Cuban revolution is a very profound and very deep revolution,” Sanders said in 1989. “Much deeper than I had understood. More interesting than their providing their people with free health care, free education, free housing … is that they are in fact creating a very different value system than the one we are familiar with.”
An estimated 73,000 people were killed in Communist Cuba for political reasons.
Sanders supports abortion without restrictions, “gay marriage,” and a national, government-run health care system.

My daughter is a professional advocate. She asked if i had been following the political campaigns and how much research I’ve been doing. I had to admit it was limited thereby subjecting myself to her anger.
I went to prayer and heard he Lord say, “you are no longer a child. Put sway childish actions and assume your adult responsibilities.” HE then led me to verses like Isaiah 5. Those who call evil good and good evil. Also, Deuteronomy 8, 28-30.
The Israelites wandered on the desert because they were a stiffnecked, unrepentant people. Think what this country will be if we continue to ignore the one who sustaines our very breath.
Can’t happen? When you start coughing will you then pray?

Pray this prayer Lord. Lord I owe this amount $$$$$$$! Of money to a lender.l confess I did not ask you when I was getting this loan
Nor get wise counsel but l need your help now and l ask ask you to help me take this debt away so l can have peace of mind
I ask in Jesus Name. If you get on your knees say this prayer. And say before you get up Father l thank you for answering my prayer. When finish praying as you are getting up God will have given you a strategy, solution answer.. A plan you have not because you ask not.
Thank God Franklin Graham is standing up for what is right and not afraid of making a political statement. May Bible believing pastors join in droves. It’s time for pastors to get bold and wake up the church. No more hiding out.
Amen and amen! Thank you for stating this. Absolutely! Father God, we pray that You wake up the church! We thank You that You are waking up the church, to be a part of the solution. We pray that You continue to expose the lies and reveal Your truths. We pray that each registered American will vote Your values for our nation. We are, and forever will be, “One Nation Under God”. Has anyone else noticed how mean and hateful the party of “tolerance” is toward anyone who says anything conservative???? I read the recent blog from our local Christian radio station and the manager of the station was prolife in his blog. The vitriol and hate that came from people against him was terrible. They wrote that he needed to stay away from politics and stick to Christian music. Some even wrote that they would not support the station financially anymore. Others wrote that they would be deleting the app from their phones. I can’t believe that Christians could write such hateful and nasty things to a Christian radio station. God, bless Franklin and surround him with Your protection.

Our Heavenly Father, Arouse in us a passion for righteous government. You have told us to pray for those in government, in authority. Awaken Your people to rise up in prayer that those without a fear of God would be dispossessed from office and those who have a fear/reverence for You would take their place. Thank You for unprecedented prayer for our President and all You are doing through him, his team, and faithful warriors to return our nation to You. May we not just be registered to vote, but may we rise up in fervency of prayer to pray for the great awakening You are bringing upon our nation. We are humbled that You heard our prayer of 2 Chronicles 7:14 before the last election and we beseech You to return the USA to a nation that honors You for the sake of Your glory.
Father, awaken your people to live in righteousness and to pray for our country. We cannot survive unless your people turn to you in repentance and a desire to live for you.
Amen. II Chronicles 7:14 says, “If My people, who are called by My Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My Face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sins, and heal their land”. Revival starts with me, my marriage, my family, my church, my city, my state, my nation, my world. Thank You Lord for bring revival. Let each of us continue to choose to be a part of what You are doing. All for Your glory, and for our blessings.
