If you believe Snopes is an accurate fact-checker, don’t read this article. However, if you are one who seeks to know and understand truth, these four steps of a coup d’état will awaken you to what has been underway in America.
Present-day “fact-checkers” are working hard to deceive the American public from historical facts of past atrocities because they are being re-enacted right now before our eyes. The media’s denial is loud and strong, removing articles from public view branding them as “conspiracy theory,” “goes against our community standards,” “debunked,” and “false,” in regards to history and facts which warn us of what is really happening.
In the midst of all the confusion, the question many ask is, “If all of these ‘fact-checkers’ are saying the same thing, surely they can’t all be wrong?”
Yes, they can. Especially when that is their role in the attempted coup to overthrow America. It is an age-old strategy of four important steps.
A coup d’état is a “game of uncertainty where people tend to choose the side they believe most other actors support.” According to author Naunihal Singh, in his book, Seizing Power: The Strategic Logic of Military Coups, it becomes a game of “numbers” to create the illusion that all power and support is on the side of the attempted takeover. As they work to create that illusion, they are simultaneously working to remove all opposition to their plan. This is where we are today.
Step 1. Manipulate Information (Take over the media)
In a coup attempt, this is called the “Coordination Theory,” in which it “is mandatory for the rebels to take over the main TV and radio stations, in order to create a fait [accompli] (The feeling that something has already been accomplished and cannot be changed.)”
We see this strategy in play by liberals who insist that Biden is leading in the polls in numerous battleground states, despite the fact that he hasn’t been out campaigning, he can’t put together a cohesive sentence, and he could barely get a few hundred people to show up to his rallies when he did campaign. Yet we are told daily that polls show Biden winning—via the coup accomplices—the media.
But according to Singh, it’s not enough to take over the media. It is the content of the information delivered which is of paramount importance: “The conspirators do not need to waste time rumbling about their righteousness. Instead, they have to hammer home the idea that they have already won, and that most important actors have already pledged their support for the coup (p.29).”
Joseph Goebbels, the Propaganda Minister under Hitler in Germany from 1933-1945 (yes that was his job title) stated, “It would not have been possible for us to take power or to use it in the ways we have without the radio.”
Step 2. Defund the police
Police are always targeted for removal in a coup attempt to remove opposition. This was done in Hitler’s day by his military leader, Hermann Goering, who helped pave the way for Hitler’s success. In 1933, Goering quickly rose through the ranks and set up concentration camps for political opponents to crush any resistance. (Just as we see happening in China today.)
Named Prussian Minister of the Interior and Commander-in-Chief of the Prussian police, he was then able to remove hundreds of officers and thousands of ordinary policemen, replacing them with Sturmabteilung (literally Storm Detachment, the Nazi Party’s original paramilitary wing) and SS, who took over the policing of Berlin.
So why have multiple “news sources,” including Reuters and Politifact, gone on record claiming this is false although it is completely true? They don’t want us to notice the comparison.
Instead, we are told defunding the police is needed for “reform,” tying the action to the politically correct Black Lives Matter and social justice movement. But I believe it has absolutely nothing to do with reforming the police. It has to do with taking them out.
Step 3. De-arm the citizens
Our freedom and right to bear arms have been under attack for years. If citizens have no guns, then resistance to a takeover is gone. While the Democrats work to convince Americans that our society would be “safer” if citizens were forced to hand over their guns, history proves otherwise.
Charles Van Wyk, author of “Shooting Back,” has spoken out to warn others of what he witnessed personally in his country of South Africa as citizens were de-armed and strict gun control measures implemented. Now, 26 years later, South Africa’s crime statistics reveal over 20,000 people murdered last year alone–the highest number the country has ever recorded.
“Gun control precedes genocide,” Wyk stated, and history proves his statement true. According to case studies of major twentieth-century genocide, once gun control became law, minority groups were targeted and murdered by the governments that implemented the laws.
Once “gun-free zones” are in place, they are then able to dominate and control citizens, who have been stripped of their guns and ability to protect themselves:
Step 4. The Removal of Statues and History
Hitler understood the importance of removing statues and with them the history connected to them. In the book Hitler at Home (Yale University Press, 2015), author Despina Stratigakost explains how Hitler ordered the eradication of war memorials in newly occupied Belgian and French towns, which “suggests that the Nazis understood the influence of even modest monuments once they become embedded in a community’s everyday life.”
It is unknown how many WWI memorials were removed or destroyed in Belgium and France through Hitler’s orders, in his effort to recast Germany as the victor of the war.
Fast forward to America, where in the last few months, over 30 statues have been torn down in our nation and even more defaced in an effort to remove history under the guise of racism.
Last month, Speaker Nancy Pelosi ordered portraits of four speakers, Robert M.T. Hunter of Virginia, Howell Cobb of Georgia, James L. Orr of South Carolina and Charles F. Crisp of Georgia, to be removed from the Capitol in what The New York Times referred to as “the latest in a wave of efforts across the country to purge public spaces of historic symbols associated with racism and oppression.”
The media tried to make us see one thing—that all four men were part of the Confederacy. But what they hid from readers was the more important fact that all four of these men were DEMOCRATS.
Another country in which statues were toppled is Venezuela. Formerly one of the most prosperous democracies in Latin America, it is now a poverty-stricken wasteland. Venezuelan political activist Elizabeth Rogliani has warned Americans that we should be concerned about the toppling of statues and attempted erasure of American history.
According to Rogliani, “Founding Fathers are going to be attacked. Religious symbols are going to be attacked. And next, probably, museums. I mean, anything can be attacked if you just let it happen. If you just let the first ones come down, then [there are] no limits to what’s next.”
“It’s an attempt to change the identity of the country. That’s my opinion. And, that’s what they did to us,” she said. “Of course, it was different. At that point, they already had taken the government. But, at this point, they’re trying to change the national identity and they’re trying to destroy the system. And, if they get to the government, they’ll do it. They certainly will do it.”
The attempted coup is because President Trump stands in their way. But so do we as intercessors.
It is essential that we pay attention to history—rather than accept the present attempt to remove it. When we don’t learn from history, we are destined to repeat it. And worse, if we ignore the four steps history reveals of past coup attempts, we may find that what was an attempt, has become reality.
Lord, we continue to intercede on behalf of our country, the United States of America. We ask that You would unite us again as a country who honors You. We declare that You are Lord over our nation and that any attempt to remove You or our godly heritage will be exposed and brought down.
Lord, we ask that the spirit of deception which has blinded the eyes of many to what is taking place would be bound and cast down from its high place. We ask the eyes of every American would be opened to see, know, and accept the truth of what is truly happening to overthrow this Republic and our president. We declare that the spirit of fear, which has bound many to their homes and silenced their voices, would be cast out. And we pray that courage would arise, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love. and a sound mind.
We cry out to You and ask for angelic forces to come and help fight in the face of this attempted overthrow which seeks to not only remove President Trump, but YOU from our land.
We declare that we will link arms as watchmen. We will stand on the walls of our cities to pray and to warn others. Lord, we ask You for strength, courage, and protection as we fight for the Gospel and for freedom. Lord, please heal our land and show Yourself strong. We need You.

I am disappointed in this article because I don’t believe it lives up to the standards IFA states in its Mission Statement. One of the bullet points in your mission statement is: Effective intercession requires a prophetic perspective, hearing the voice of the Lord through the leading of the Holy Spirit, coupled with vetted, strategic information, never presented in a sensational manner.
Sensational is defined as: “presenting information in a way that is intended to provoke public interest and excitement, at the expense of accuracy.”
Do the intercessors at IFA truly believe that there is a coup underway in the US? The definition of a coup is:a sudden, violent and illegal seizure of power from a government.” Using the word “coup” to describe what is happening in the US right now is not accurate. There is no group attempting to violently and illegally seize power. This article does not seem interested in presenting facts about what is happening in our country for the sake of informed prayer. Instead, it is attempting to instill fear in order to strengthen conservative political ideology among Christians.

The lockdown measures, media hype and fear mongering are also part of the attempted takeover. The mask is a symbol of compliance preparing Americans for the vaccine which could contain pig urine, abortion extract, aluminum, mercury and a nanochip. I do not agree with Ed Stetzer. I have followed some of his stuff before. He is a part of the problem of disinformation and misinformation. We are not gullible. We are awake, but apparently Ed is not. He wants you to think he is. “professing themselves to be wise, they became as fools.” Romans 1

The History of our country and world have been removed slowly from our education systems and produced this void and removed passion from our children. They hunger for passion and purpose only see it in these radicals, along with Hollywood and their false narratives. It’s never too late for God. Since Jesus can return any minute we are to stand faithful, trust and pray no matter what we see.
Believing God will show himself in a mighty way in response to our prayers.
I know it’s never to late for God and I will never stop praying for America. I’m 78 and I really believe we will see God’s return in my lifetime. I do pray daily for God to turn all of his turmoil around and for people to turn back to Him in a mighty way.
Hosea 6:2. According to this prophecy, he’s coming back after two days(2,000 years). It’s now time to occupy until he returns.
Historically, people do not learn from their past, as an individual and as a nation. That is why it is said, “History repeats itself.” Unless we see God send an awakening, we will do the same. We must pray 2 Chronicles 7:14 through each of the steps listed in order for the promise of “I will hear from heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land,” to be fulfilled. (NLT)

Nope, have said it and will say it again, snopes is a leftist tiny outfit sitting in their living room when started and people thought it was great. It was when they reported falsely on a situation I was privy to told me they didn’t research, nor have staff to research yet somehow the public gave them importance not deserved.

75 years ago today (July 30, 1945) my uncle’s ship was torpedoed by a Japanese submarine. The USS Indianapolis (CA-35) was on its way to the Philippines after delivering the atomic bomb (Hiroshima) to the island of Tinian. My father, a naval photographer (ironically, he developed the picture of the bomb dropped on Nagasaki), was stationed in the Philippines. He knew his brother’s ship was due in port and was anxious to see him. He would never see him again. Two weeks later, on the day the war ended, while Americans were celebrating, my grandmother and grandfather were told that their son and 860+ other sailors were missing in action… I cannot speak to what other “Americans” have “learned”. I will only say that this American will never, ever dishonor the sacrifice of so many who died in opposition to god-less tyranny. I will never surrender my rights, or the rights of my children and grandchildren.. ever…

Dear Jesus, in scripture you give us an idea of how things will be before Your return to establish a New Heaven and Earth. I recall the Word saying, “As it was in the days of Noah, it will be before I return”. (Not exact words.) Anyway, Jesus, I do not believe I am to give up on America, or the world because I conclude nothing can be done to “turn things around” because “it is what it is”. Abraham kept going back to the Triune God over and over to ask for Your mercy to fall on Sodom and Gommorah. I am using Abraham’s example to determine my steps as Your servant.

At the grass roots level, I’m hearing story after story of people who are waking up and returning to God. This is hard to quantify because there is no media coverage but we can hear it if we listen to the Spirit. I believe there is a massive underground force that is largely unseen and unheard who will rise up in November and defy the polls. There is an estimated 100 million serious believers in this country. We need to pray for their numbers to astronomically increase. This last debacle with the frontline doctors is even shaking many who have bought the PC lies up to now, and they are beginning to question. We’re hearing about it on the ground. “Lord, how are they increased that trouble me, many are they that rise up against me. Many are they which say of my soul ‘there is no help for him in God.’ But THOU oh, Lord, are a shield form me, my glory and the lifter of my head!” I have to remind myself that only that which God allows can happen to us, and right now, the ball is in our court (the Church.) Rise up, Remnant!

I have been watching the signs of these times and agree with what’s been said in this article. America, the church, religious freedom, the constitution, are all under attack. Covid-19 did not come by chance, mistake or random error in genetic manipulation. It is being used to make the American People believe they need governmental interaction in their every day life to protect them. We started with a disease that, while serious, was manipulated in the news and with physicians, falsely reporting exaggerated tally’s of death and infection rates to create a panic among the general population. If the disease is as bad as they say, why are protesters not required to social distance and wear masks? Why does no one report on this? Are they dispensable, or are the “facts” they use to control us and shut down the churches simply false and created to create panic? I question the whole reasoning behind liberals who are using this covid excuse. Blue States have a higher death than red states. The more intervention in the state, the more cases there are. As the covid issue continues, the more resistance to the President. Random chance this is happening? I don’t think so. Welcome to the new normal? More like welcome to a restructured America.
Lord, Karin Hardin’s article could not be more perfect at this time. The take down of our President is called Operation Hurricane and has been going on before he was elected. I pray for George Webb, a citizen journalist, who has documented the events for over four years. He had 4000 videos that youtube took down in a day. Lord, you provided the new free speech Parler.com so he put everything there but it was taken down within a week. So he wrote a book “Awan Minutes to Midnight” and amazon took it down so he wrote “Blackberries Matter” because he wants to inform people about the coup against the president. I thank you, Lord, for John O’Laughlin whose father worked for JFK and tried to smash the CIA and he was murdered. I thank you for Harry the Greek, BrassBalls.blog, who informed us about H.B. 7120 the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act of 2020 which will defund our police department to be replaced with UN Peacekeepers.It has already passed the House and been read twice in the Senate. Not on my watch, Lord. I pray that AG Barr remains loyal to our president. He is/was CIA and he’s been in DC a long time so I pray against any corruption and that he is honest, trustworthy and loyal to our president and our Constitution. Lord I thank you for this forum that allows us to more clearly see what is happening around us but also provides a way to link arms via the internet which the enemy is surveilling at all times. May your people, called by your name, hear your voice of conscience and see your presence in the land today so that they may be compelled to give up their idols of rebellion and false worship over things that are created rather than worshipping the Creator.

I used to be a liberal, but God has shown me the truth over the years and changed my heart. I sometimes can’t believe who I am these days. Praise God for that!
That being said, besides my Christian family I still have friends sharing my old views and most of my family is very liberal.
I speak up when they let me. Most of the time I’m left feeling angry at what they cannot see or do not want to see.
It’s easy to believe God will move on our behalf when you are with God-revering, God-loving, faithful servants. But I confess being equally submerged with unbelievers make me—not hopeless but instead preparing my spiritual life for that of the upcoming and happening now, persecution. Not wanting to be blindsided as our mighty Father will not leave us or forsake us, but also not unaware that life as we know it may never be the same.
Father, prepare us individually and collectively so that we may be found faithful with our hearts fixed solely on You in whatever lies ahead.
As for those who are going their own way, I ask that You interrupt their paths with Your powerful truth as the dark becomes exposed.

This article is speaking of things, I personally have never encountered but have read much about in other countries. It’s happening today, I just read about Christians being beheaded in Mozambique.
I never want to get complacent in thinking these atrocities are not possible to some degree in the US. Christians all over the world are holding fast to their faith even at the risk of death. May I be found faithful when my Christian comforts here in America have never really been shaken.

You are the 1st to recognize that our country may be under judgement (Killing babies, pedophilia, LGBT infiltrating all levels of our children’s world, godlessness in our universities) and that people who stand for Jesus may actually have to suffer or give their lives. Sometimes I am curious to the many cliches in the christian community.
For example, “wake up church, or wake up America”, what exactly are we waking up to? I don’t mean to sound condescending but, the things you stated are all over the news. PLEASE HEAR, they gut punch my spirit as much as yours and everyone else’s!
Today, many claim to be one of God’s warriors. From what I’ve read in the Bible, God typically goes with an army on the smaller side! Is that only to show His great and mighty power?? Or could it be, more people than not are not prepared to be one of God’s chosen warriors. Could that be because they will do more harm than good(we are not right before God)? I do not claim to have all the answers, trust me I am constantly asking God all of the above!
I can say personally that I know it to be truth that His kindness and patience do bring us to repentance. But– when I thought I was ready for the battle, ‘yes God use me!'(another cliche), I experienced my own whip of cord and an overturned table. I wouldn’t change a thing over the last 7 years since Jesus bombarded me. My prayers went and some still are unanswered. Of course God heard me, yet my friends and family are still unsaved, despite 18 years of praying. However the extraordinary news is I have become rooted and grounded in Him in ways I could never have known about! I still believe God. But He said ‘wait, this first daughter.’ For this one thing I have against you… Revelation 2:4-6, Rev 2:20
Proverbs 19:2(ESV). Desire without knowledge is not good and whoever makes haste with His feet misses the way.
So, to conclude its not just the unsaved or liberals I am concerned with, but us– the body of Christ.

Pamela, I am glad you did see part of my heart cry. Most of the people who are on the other side, they are desperate for love and acceptance. God used a christian\new ager\lesbian to be the one who brought me to Christ! Go figure.

Now to Him who is able to keep your from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of His glory with great joy!

It has taken some time to pray over your email. It has several threads, and I will try to address each one.
First, what are we to ‘wake up to’? There is a great deal of lawlessness in our country today, those who would renounce God, turn us into a Marxist government, riot, burn, loot, kill, burn Bibles and our flag. Many Christians prefer not to recognize or keep informed. We need to fight for the principles on which our country was formed by praying, keeping informed, and voting our values (not for a person but a platform). This requires looking into each candidate’s values. We may yet have some time to live free.
You seem well acquainted with the Bible. You will know then, from Revelation, that there will be globalism: One world government. When I was young, none of these things were remotely possible. Now they are in view: microchipping those who will renounce Jesus in order to buy or sell. It will happen as God has said. We need to be prepared to follow Him, even to death, knowing our eternal reward and happiness is secure. For this kind of faith, we need eternal eyes as those in Hebrews 11 had. Ask for them! Ask that your love for Jesus will be so strong, that NO COST will be too high to pay for Him. I suggest you read “Imagine Heaven” by John Burke. It will take away all fear!
Concerning LOVE (for everyone, including LGBTQ, every race and color, every religion, even our enemies), we are commanded to bless them and seek their good. Let God be the judge. This does not mean we are to move away from revealed Biblical values, as many churches have done. You’re right that many in church are mean and judgemental, while others are apostate, conforming to our culture. Real love is caring enough to share truth in a caring way. For your friend, i would recommend reading “Gay Girl, Good God.’ by Jackie Hill Perry. When we turn our heart and will over to Christ, the Holy Spirit gives us the power to be transformed. We don’t conform Him to our own will, ideas, or practices, we turn from our own way to HIS revealed will. That can be a Romans 7 battle, but even if we fail at times, we keep moving forward to ask forgiveness and turn back to His way. He welcomes us with open arms as we do our own children. “Therefore there is NO CONDEMNATION to them that are in Christ Jesus” We all fail in many ways but His love remains. Dear Whitney, you are secure as His beloved daughter, forever. Satan is the accuser and will throw your past in your face. Resist him. I’m asking God today to give you peace and rest.
