Lord, we pray for the protection of President Trump. We thank you for the men and women who serve on his protection detail and ask for their protection as well.

A dishonorably discharged Marine allegedly impersonated a security guard for President Donald Trump’s Marine One helicopter and bypassed checkpoints at Palm Beach International Airport last week, according to a report.

The former Marine, Brandon M. Magnan, 37, of Naples, Fla., was charged on Jan. 6 with false personation of officer or employee of the United States, according to a criminal complaint by the United States Secret Service.

It wasn’t clear why Mr. Magnan was trying to get near the helicopter. Marine One, which is piloted and protected by the Marine Corps unit known as HMX-1, is used to transport the president for shorter trips, the Secret Service said.

Mr. Trump was spending his winter vacation in Palm Beach, Fla., at his private Mar-a-Lago resort at the time of the episode with Mr. Magnan.

Law enforcement said Magnan was asked to present his credentials upon entering Atlantic Aviation without Marine attire, often worn by the president’s security team during presidential travel, according to court documents.

The Palm Beach Post first reported that a deputy asked a colleague to verify Magnan’s credentials, which were later found to be falsified. The suspect retorted that he was a retired Marine. However, the FBI’s crime database reportedly shows Magnan was dishonorably discharged after he was court-martialed for “serious offenses.” He was convicted of “abusive sexual conduct” and is a registered sex offender.

Magnan is charged with false presentation of an officer or employee of the U.S. He faces up to three years in jail and a $250,000 fine. The former military member has been out on bond as of Monday and is scheduled to appear in a Florida court on January 27th.

  1. Thank you Lord for your hedge of protection around President Trump, your anointed servant, and around his family. Thank you for the expert security you have assigned to him. May even the selected security be protected. Hallelujah, praise your holy name, Lord God! In the precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

  2. As many have prayed, truly the Lord has gone before him and continues to do so. I’m so thankful God has set him in as a “sure peg” which can only be removed by the Lord. Thank you Father for your protection over this President.

  3. Father, we thank You for Your protecting power & Your warring angels who stand beside and cover our President and his family at all times. We thank You that his secret service members and all who serve him have ”eagle eyes” and Your discernment to spot trouble before the enemy has a chance to act, in JESUS Mighty Name. AMEN!

  4. We proclaim that we your people are on the wall every day 24/7 to be alert and pray for protection of our President and Vice President and the many others who serve. We thank you for the alert men and women who surround him. Your protection is the best!

  5. Lord, we are most grateful that our President has been protected by your hands. Let this man who impersonated his duty and status to be locked up immediately and he should have not been able to be out on bond. Let us continue to pray for our President and for this man(Magman)that he will come to know the Lord Jesus Christ, repent for all his wrong doings and salvation for him.

    1. A lackadaisical mindset/attitude must not be tolerated when it comes to the safety and protection of our President, Vice President or any of our leaders, for that matter.
Lackadaisical has a number of meanings—apathetic, passive, lacking enthusiasm or effort, no interest, etc. When it comes to our President, Vice President, we need to be alert, watchful, vigilant in all things. (This includes the judges as well)
Mr. Magman is a dishonorably discharged Marine who was attempting to invade the space of our President. He needs to be picked up and held in custody until this matter is resolved. I have prayed for his salvation as well.

  6. Amen, Amen! Thank you Lord, thank you, thank you Lord, thank you Lord, thank you Lord, thank you Lord, thank you Lord, for your Sovereignty, thank you Lord for your Mercy, thank you for your Divine Providence!!!!!!! Praise the Holy Wonderful Name of Jesus! Hallelujah!!!
