Late last month, after the killing of local Minneapolis resident Alex Pretti by federal agents working with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, MS NOW interviewed a protester identified as “Andrew” who said he flew in from Colorado to help drive the feds out of the city.

Hours later, the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) framed the killing as a “murder,” identified “Andrew” as “DSA National Political Committee member Andrew, @andrewized who “joined community members in Minneapolis today, to protest the murder of Alex Pretti. ‘We are going to beat the Trump administration.’”

Soon after, in a rhetorical stab at law enforcement officials, the local chapter organized a training on personal protective equipment to use against what “the pigs are using.”

The DSA has been using messaging like this across the nation to undermine America. And, according to Adam Sohn, co-founder of the Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI), they’re recycling the same rhetoric used to attack America abroad.

Sohn is set to testify before the House Ways and Means Committee today at 10 AM ET about foreign influence in American non-profits, and he’ll be discussing the DSA. According to Sohn, infamous China-based billionaire Neville Roy Singham has funded several groups, including the People’s Forum, the ANSWER Coalition, and the Party for Socialism and Liberation, all of which have worked closely with the DSA.

According to a recent report released by the NCRI, the DSA has been using a strategy called “narrative convergence,” advancing narratives that stoke unrest and undermine institutions, all while advancing the same talking points as hostile foreign governments. For example, the DSA last month organized a strike as part of a “National Shutdown.” While many see this as an innocent form of protest, it’s a Marxist tactic designed to force the nation into economic failure.

The DSA’s foreign ties go beyond Singham, however. According to the NCRI, the group has sent six delegations to Venezuela, Cuba, and China since 2021, involving government-linked hosts, luxury accommodations, and meetings with regime officials. These meetings would explain why the DSA tends to use the same talking points as our enemies. As the report says, the DSA, following these trips, engaged in “coordinated, time-locked advocacy and messaging that directly advanced foreign regime priorities, including anti-sanctions campaigns and electoral defenses” (emphasis added).

It isn’t surprising that the DSA has been working with foreign governments to undermine the United States. After all, our enemies often tend to work together. Let’s ask God to break this unholy alliance, and let’s pray for an end to Marxism in America.
