Please continue to oversee this hostage deal, as unjust as it is, to accomplish Your purposes, Lord. We are thankful for each hostage released, and pray that You would minister to them to bring healing, deliverance, salvation, and restoration. It is a bittersweet return, and yet a cause for great rejoicing. Help those who are experiencing this strange mix of emotions – joy & anger striving with one another. May joy and gratitude for Your grace and mercy emerge victorious! May we entrust the injustice to You, the righteous judge.
Tank you Jesus, that ALL of the Hamas hostages are being released. This is certainly a step in the right direction.
This deal does not bless Israel. No murders should be released in exchange for the lives of innocent victims. All hostages should have been returned long ago.
I agree, Mae – this is not the greatest blessing Israel could have received, because they are having to pay such a great price. But each life saved and released from the living hell they’ve been subjected to is a blessing to Israel – because they value life – and to believers – because we value life. Let’s just agree in prayer for safety in Israel from these released terrorists. May they be struck by the stark contrast in how life is valued in Judeo-Christian views and so devalued in Islam. May they desire to be delivered from that death cult, and find Yeshua.
I totally agree Mae. Murderers should not have been released in exchange for the lives of innocent victims. Our leadership in the US was way too soft. Everyone knows it. The current leadership isn’t going to take any BS. These terrorist organizations are going to see big changes in the future. They have been funded by countries who are promoting a culture of death. Life is much more valuable than that.
Lord, we thank you that you always hear the prayers of our hearts. Thank you for the safe release of hostages from a jihadist underground nightmare. Pour out your healing grace on them all and assist them in using pain to draw ever closer to your loving heart. Amen
