Families Ask President to Rescue Hamas Hostages
Many American citizens have family and friends suffering under the wrath of Hamas in Israel. What is being done to save them?
From National Review. The families of four American citizens who are missing and may be hostages after last weekend’s terrorist attacks in Israel are calling on the U.S. leaders to take action to locate their loved ones and to work for their release.
Join others crying out to the Lord day and night.
(The Times of Israel reported on Wednesday: “Asked whether US President Joe Biden is considering sending American troops into Gaza to recover the hostages being held by terror groups in the enclave, White House National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby says, “We just don’t have enough info to make decisions like that.”)
The comment indicates that the US does not know the captives’ whereabouts.
Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, Nahar Neta, whose 66-year-old California-born mother Adriene Neta was hauled off by Hamas terrorists on Saturday, said that President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken are “responsible to bring the U.S. citizens back home safe and sound. We expect nothing less from the U.S. administration.”
Rubi Chen, who grew up in New York City and whose son Itay Chen, an Israeli soldier, is missing, said he is “asking the U.S. not to take a back seat.” …
Jonathan Dekel-Chen, who grew up in Connecticut, and whose son Sagui Dekel-Chen is missing after defending his community over the weekend, appealed to U.S. leaders to “do what they can on the side of good here.”
“It seems to me that the United States, my original home and still a very beloved place for me, always wants to be and must be on the side of good. Hamas is evil,” said Jonathan Dekel-Chen …
Israel is pounding the Gaza Strip with airstrikes as Israeli soldiers amass at the border. Hamas terrorists have threatened to kill a hostage every time an Israeli bomb strikes a Palestinian home without warning. Hamas has about 150 hostages, according to reports.
Rubi Chen said that there has been no formal attempt by the U.S. government to update the families of missing Americans. “I think it is a legit request for a representative from the State Department to sit with us, update us on what they have been doing, what they are planning to do, and to be able to support us,” he said.
Likewise, Nahar Neta said they’ve had “zero communication from the Israeli government.” …
Rubi Chen said they’ve identified about ten other families of Americans who are also missing or who have been taken hostage after Saturday’s terrorist attacks.

You cannot negotiate with Hamas. They are evil. And they are liars and everyone else to them is an infidel. Period.
Israel has the been putting up with their murdering ways for too long.
MY words can be interpreted as the prayers of all the world for Jesus to help us Christians and Jewish people do what needs to be done NOW. We cannot live with this drivel, lies, denials, when what is right in front & center of our eyes. We MUST repeat, repeat & repeat the words of our Lord. Pray for the enemy. So, I pray any & all who support in anyway the devil disguised as the hamas should meet a very quick & painful death. God, please protect the Jewish people, please do not let this be another Holocaust. Please, dear Jesus, hear our pleas. Your will be done.
I pray in agreement with the petition for the hostages. Several times during the nite I awoke and prayed for the Lord to draw near to them….I life them and their families up to You during this unspeakable, horrific time…….
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
Lord Jesus I ask that the encampment of Hamas Cannibals cannot kill and eat those hostage but make a loophole for their escape out of the hands of the enemies unto safety and salvation.
My prayer for the hostages and for the perpetrators:
Rescue me from my enemies, my God; Set me securely on high away from those who rise up against me. 2 Rescue me from those who practice injustice,
And save me from men of bloodshed. 3 For behold, they have set an ambush for my life; Fierce men attack me, Not for my wrongdoing nor for my sin, Lord, 4 For no guilt of mine, they run and take their stand against me.
Stir Yourself to help me, and see! 5 You, Lord God of armies, the God of Israel,
Awake to punish all the nations; Do not be gracious to any who deal treacherously in wrongdoing. Selah
6 They return at evening, they howl like a dog, And prowl around the city.
7 Behold, they gush forth with their mouths; Swords are in their lips,
For, they say, “Who hears?” 8 But You, Lord, laugh at them; You scoff at all the nations.
9 Because of his strength I will watch for You, For God is my refuge. 10 My God in His faithfulness will meet me; God will let me look triumphantly upon my enemies. 11 Do not kill them, or my people will forget; Scatter them by Your power and bring them down, Lord, our shield. 12 On account of the sin of their mouths and the words of their lips, May they even be caught in their pride, And on account of curses and lies which they tell. 13 Destroy them in wrath, destroy them so that they will no longer exist; So that people may know that God rules in Jacob, To the ends of the earth. Selah
14 They return at evening, they howl like a dog, And prowl around the city.
15 They wander about for food And murmur if they are not satisfied.
16 But as for me, I will sing of Your strength; Yes, I will joyfully sing of Your faithfulness in the morning, For You have been my refuge And a place of refuge on the day of my distress. 17 My strength, I will sing praises to You;
For God is my refuge, the God who shows me favor.
Thank you for this prayer from Scripture. I agree with you in prayer.
Holy God, the Almighty,, we lift our eyes to the hills where our help comes from. Our help comes from You Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth ( Ps. 121). In Jesus’ Name and Blood, Lord God, touch the hearts of our leaders to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth of the Gospel…from President Biden on down…that they will do what is right in Your eyes concerning Israel and these American hostages and their families. Gracious Lord, send Jesus and His angel armies to do what our military is not being allowed to do in this situation. Jesus set these captives free spiritually , physically, mentally and emotionally. There is nothing to hard for You. In Jesus’ Name protect Your chosen people Israel and their boarders, their land, their air space and their underground systems from those trying to annihilate them. In Jesus’ Name bring mass confusion upon Israel’s enemies that Your people will be saved spiritually and physically. Let no weapon formed against them prosper ..,nor against these hostages that are fighting for their lives. In Jesus’ Name save every hostage spiritually and physically …and give them a supernatural peace from You Jesus. Hamas wants to see fear and trembling …but in stead may these hostages faces shine with absolute peace as Your glory Lord radiates on their faces. Help them not fear but pray in faith for themselves and their captors to have a change of heart and be saved by the grace of God through faith in Christ Jesus the Lord. God of all Comfort, You are the God that we need today, You are God, Israel needs today . You are the God these hostages need today. You are the God that Hamas needs today. You are the God that Gaza needs today. You are the God America and every nation of the world needs today!! ““Rain down, O heavens, from above, Let the clouds pour down righteousness [all the blessings of God]; Let the earth open up, let salvation bear fruit, And righteousness spring up with it; I, the Lord, have created it
(Isa. 45:8 AMP).” In Jesus’ Name , may all nations know that You God are with Israel . That You are God and there is no other. besides You, O God of Israel, Savior (from Isa. 45:14b). Great is Your faithfulness to us as sons and daughters of the Most High God, and to Israel Your chosen people. Your Word will not return void but will accomplish what it was sent to do…and we praise Your worthy Name. In Jesus’ Powerful Name we pray in which every knee shall bow. Amen.
Almighty God, we cry out to You for those missing soldiers and others that have been kidnapped in this attack by Hamas. You know where they are. Make a way for them to be found and rescued. We pray they are alive and well and standing strong in their faith against this evil. Give them peace that passes all understanding and hope for their rescue. Give our leaders and military leaders godly wisdom, discernment and direction at this time. We ask that You send angels on assignment to protect and rescue. Thank You that even in the midst of such horror You are with Israel and the hostages. May they look to You from wince their help comes from.
In Jesus’ mighty name,
Amen
