Facebook has threatened to blacklist the page of conservative comedy duo Kevin Hodge and Keith Hodge, better known as the Hodgetwins, on the same day that The New York Times identified them among the most successful conservative content creators on the platform.

The duo rose to fame on YouTube, where they amassed 1.4 million subscribers with viral videos. In 2018, they set up a second channel, “Conservative Twins,” focused on political content, which has accumulated over a million subscribers. . . .

Earlier today, the New York Times published an article lamenting the success of conservative content creators on Facebook, with the Hodgetwins featured as a prominent example.

The NYT complains that the two most popular posts about Black Lives Matter on the platform are videos from the Hodgetwins critiquing the movement:

The most-shared Facebook post containing the term “Black Lives Matter” over the past six months is a June video by the right-wing commentators The Hodgetwins, which calls the racial justice movement a “damn lie.” The second most-shared Black Lives Matter post? A different viral video from The Hodgetwins, this one calling the movement a “leftist lie.” (The Hodgetwins also have the 4th, 6th, and 12th most shared posts.)

On the same day that the article was published, the Hodgetwins reported on Twitter that Facebook threatened to unpublish their page.

“They are interfering with the election!” said the Hodgetwins. “Conservatives are being censored on FB.” . . .

“How is it that the social media masters allow some of the most vile people on the left to say and do anything without threat of censure or deplatforming, but conservative comedians are going to be thrown off platforms for being funny while speaking the truth?” asked Don Jr.

Former Army national guardsman Mark Lutchman, whose video was shared by the Hodgetwins and used to issue a community standards violation against them, said his video was also taken down.

Although the video was removed from the Hodgetwins’ page, Lutchman noted that it is still available on his own page, The Lutchman Report. In the video, Lutchman discusses the case of Kyle Rittenhouse, defending Rittenhouse’s actions in Wisconsin as acts of self-defense.

“I’m praying for Kyle,” said Lutchman in the video.

A Hodgetwins video called “AOC: You Crazy” was also removed by Facebook and used to issue a community guidelines violation against the page. The video is still available on YouTube:

Conservative nonprofit PragerU noted that their Facebook page of over 4 million followers is also at risk of being unpublished.

“Why is Facebook only targeting conservatives?” asked PragerU.

In a comment to Breitbart News, the Hodgetwins said that Facebook’s attempt to censor them would not cripple their business. “Luckily our main revenue stream, our store (officialhodgetwins.com) is unimpeded by this election interference.” . . .

Cancel your subscription to Facebook and join in “parler” a new social media. Bring your followers with you. Go to Parler.com and join. Who needs facebook. If some do it lots will follow. Facebook is just a link of the Democratic party and we will not get any freedom of speech from them. Parler will give us freedom of speech.

The censorship of conservatives is despicable. It is time to pray and act against injustice. “Faith without works is dead”. Our group is praying for exposure of evil and for conservatives to wake up across our nation. God is at work.

Why do they call it social media? How are they able to censor and control what we share as long as it is within moral guidelines? I think they should be forced to abide by the law of freedom of speech, according to our first amendment right, not their biased beliefs or opinons.

Uh, I believe freedom of speech is in our constitution, the good, bad & ugliest! Thank you boys for exercising your right. We need a new Facebook, who’s up for that?

O Lord, help us to remember the spiritual principle that “if you do not praise Me, the rocks will cry out.” Man cannot stand in your way, God. Your will, your ways and your Word WILL be preached! Behold, I am the Lord. The God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me? Jeremiah knew you, Lord, and believed in your power. We do, too. Christ has died, Christ IS risen, and Christ will come again. The devil doesn’t stand a chance!

Wake up, America! There is no Black Lives Matter movement or MeToo movement. There is only the “disagree with me and I am against you” movement. Clearly, the BLM movement and the MeToo movement are very selective about which black lives matter and about which women are to be “believed.” This is Phariseeism at its finest.

Almighty God, I pray for the people of this nation to see straight through the whitewash to the deadness that it is inside of the hypocrites in this nation. I do not judge hearts, Lord. I leave that to you; but, it is my privilege to come boldly to the throne of grace to ask for help for America and to pray for mercy in this time of great need in our nation. May the overriding “Movement” in America be the movement toward love, grace, forgiveness, truth, law and order, and righteousness. Lift the fog, O Lord. Expose the darkness. Send forth your light and truth. We NEED you! In Jesus name, Amen.

I love the Hodge Twins. Their commentary is hilareous. Tpheir language is often offensive, but they speak the truth.

I don’t care for their colorful language but they do speak truth. What’s ironic is that Facebook like Twitter and other big tech platforms has recently been claiming to support black live and black voices but they are threatening to deplatform the page of two black men because their opinions contradict the mainstream narrative that suggests all blacks support BLM or democrats, for that matter. Meanwhile BLM activist are allowed to post all manner of hateful rhetoric against others and against our country just proving the point that as far as the BLM movement goes and those who support it, only certain black lives and black opinions matter. I stopped using Facebook a while ago because I won’t support a platform that advocates censorship. I am praying that the voices of people like the Hodge Twins, Candace Owen, Brandon Tatum, Bevelyn Beatty, and others continue to be heard.

Father, let their voices be heard by an ever increasing audience despite the enemy’s attempts to silence them.
