From Hot Air:

Wilders was determined to see reforms enacted, [never mind] what the EU diktats were. He wanted to enact what the Dutch people had voted his party in to do.

Dutch conservative leader Geert Wilders has collapsed his country’s governing coalition after being repeatedly sidelined on immigration reform. Though he gave up his chance at becoming prime minister to keep the coalition stable, his party’s priorities were frozen out. In response, he withdrew five ministers, toppling the government and prompting snap elections scheduled for October 29th.

Following this, polling indicates Wilders’ bold move may have increased his support among Dutch voters tired of government inaction and unchecked immigration. Contrary to elite expectations, many see his stand as a return to principled leadership.

Meanwhile in Poland, pro-EU Prime Minister Donald Tusk suffered a major blow as his presidential candidate was defeated by nationalist Karol Nawrocki. Nawrocki’s victory has introduced a strong counterweight to Tusk’s progressive policies. As president, Nawrocki plans to veto EU-driven reforms, including those that threaten Polish agriculture and traditional values.

Now, with the EU-Mercosur trade deal looming, which would allow cheap, under-regulated South American agricultural imports, Tusk’s rural support base may fracture. His promises to protect farmers appear hollow, and a no-confidence vote threatens his hold on power.

Europe stands at a crossroads. As unelected bureaucracies push progressive ideology, local populations increasingly cry out for national integrity, protection of culture, and godly leadership. Christians must pray: for truth to prevail, for leaders to honor the people they serve, and for the peace of God to overcome political turmoil.

There is a reason YHVH established borders and boundaries for the nations. We need to cease apologizing for limiting and regulating immigration into our nations. There are legitimate reasons to allow immigration, but there should be a reasonable expectation also that immigrants assimilate into the nations to which they immigrate. Otherwise immigration is simply a slow but steady invasion of a foreign people(s), and a grave danger to the native population. YHVH, please bless the efforts of those who are fighting back against the globalist elite who refuse to acknowledge and honor the borders and boundaries of the nations. We continue to trust that nothing outside the scope and timing of Your Sovereign will, will happen.

Just to add a thought, political conquest is no less evil than military conquest – and eventually it will probably be just as lethal.

In the name of Jesus, we pray for truth to prevail, for leaders to honor the people they serve, and for the peace of God to overcome political turmoil. Amen.
