. . . Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA), who was a prominent Atlanta preacher before he was elected to the Senate, deleted a tweet on Easter Sunday that drew allegations of heresy.
“The meaning of Easter is more transcendent than the resurrection of Jesus Christ,” Warnock wrote in the tweet posted Sunday morning. “Whether you are Christian or not, through a commitment to helping others we are able to save ourselves.”

The comment from Warnock, who was a pastor at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, where Martin Luther King Jr. preached, landed the senator in hot water.

Father thank you that only Jesus saves and only if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and that He died for us and rose on the third day shall we be saved. We believe this irrevocable truth and know that no works or good deeds of ours can save us. May this truth be unshaken in our hearts. We know that any other truth comes from the spirit of antichrist which is present in the world. We raise up a standard against this spirit, bind it up and rebuke it out of the Body of Christ. Every deceptive spirit be bound up and thrown back to the pit of hell. Holy Spirit take control and let the light of truth of the death and ressurection of Jesus as the only means of salvation resonate in our hearts, our families, and our nation and its citizens in Jesus name, Amen.
I am chilled by the rank, blatant heresy of Warnock’s statement. Further evidence in our present reality of the demonic control being exerted over our Christian churches. Further affirmation of the demonic by the media.
Father, God Almighty, wake us up! Feed the desire inside us for Your Word so we will not be led astray by the popular notions of biblical truth, so we will KNOW what You say to us in Your Word because we have actually read the scripture for ourselves.
Father, give us courage to confront the evil in our world with your Truth.
Dear Lord, the strange blasphemy uttered by this man does not surprise me. The democrats (I will never again capitalize the name of their wicked party) have gotten into unholy alliances with literally any group, individual, or ideology so long as they will support the democratic party. To whom or what has this supposed man of God surrendered to in order to meet his ends? As Your word tells us, we will know them by their fruit. In Jesus precious name I pray O Lord, Amen.
