In a recent interview, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy revealed that states have issued nearly a combined 200,000 Commercial Driver’s Licenses to individuals who do not meet the Department of Transportation’s English standards, putting Americans at risk.

States across the country have potentially illegally issued about 194,000 Commercial Driver’s Licenses (CDLs) to foreign truck drivers who would not meet English language standards set by the Department of Transportation (DOT), Secretary Sean Duffy reveals.
Duffy revealed the alarming statistic in an interview on Fox Business Channel, stating that some 200,000 CDLs have been issued to foreign nationals and that of those, 194,000 are suspected of having been issued illegally.
“People can’t understand the English language, they can’t read signs, and they don’t know the rules of our road. That’s a problem,” Duffy said. “Americans aren’t safe.”
According to Secretary Duffy, part of the issue is “CDL mills.” These mills are taking foreign nationals who recently arrived in the U.S. and giving them CDLs, despite their minimal or outright lack of knowledge of the English language and American driving rules.
These illegally issued CDLs are endangering Americans. IFA covered two instances earlier this year in which illegal immigrants with CDL licenses caused deadly crashes. However, these licenses are also harming the American trucking industry. Secretary Duffy laments that these mills and states have driven American truckers out of business and are driving wages down.
Across the nation, these illegally issued CDLs are causing innocent Americans to suffer. Let’s ask God to intervene, and let’s pray the Department of Transportation would be able to untangle and fix this multilayered mess!

We declare this abuse of the American goodness, organization & laws is BROKEN, in Jesus’ name! We decree only drivers who are FULLY qualified to drive will be given licenses. There will be NO MORE illegally permitted drivers – in transportation, or ILLEGAL, UNQUALIFIED persons in ANY & ALL fields in this nation. We are a nation of laws & LAWFUL citizens – NO MORE disobedience, unlawfulness in the USA!!!!!
We need to revoke these CDL’s and get these illegally drivers off the road IMMEDIATELY. May Your will be done, Lord.

I pray that the cargo these people are delivering around our country be removed of any unclean spirit and that it is used for your intent. May you protect each mile of roadway that these trucks and tractor trailers drive on. May the Holy Spirit reach these people’s hearts and repent and come to Jesus. May these licenses be revoked and these people get off the roads.
Protect all of us out on these roads and grade us with traveling mercies.

Heavenly Father, we have wolves in sheep’s clothing in positions of authority. Where patterns of behavior, profits and evil plans have been used, bring them into submission of Your perfect will. How were these drivers able to read any written information and sign legal documents? Please have provided all written proof of issuance and those involved. Unmask the disguised misuse/abuse and instead establish right standing as only You can. Thank You for Secretary Duffy, his staff and all those who work in accordance with Your will. PLEASE REMOVE THESE DANGEROUS AND ILEGAL COMMERCIALAND NON- COMERCIALDRIVERS OFF OUR ROADS AND HIGHWAYS. THY ARE A DANGER TO THEMSELVES AND ALL AROUND THEM.

Stop every truck out there and if driver can’t pass the test, impound the truck, fine the company and all involved in issuing the cdl. This will cause some problems but a life is worth way more than those problems. In the long run the honest people will prevail and the roads will be safer. Our laws hold bartenders accountable for accidents caused by drunk drivers so lets use the same reasoning to make our trucking system safer.
