Father, Help us to keep our swords in our hand and coming out of our mouth. Fill our mouth with You Word and Your promises. Thank You for watching over Your Word and bringing it to completion. Amen.

I awoke to some ancient yet familiar words the day after the Presidential election.  “Do not lay down your sword.”

Over thirty years have passed since that significant morning in church. As the congregation lifted their voices in praise and worship, I immersed myself in God’s presence and peace. Suddenly, a woman beside me leaned in, her breath warm against my ear. In a hushed yet fervent tone, she shared a message that struck deep within me: “The Lord said, ‘When breakthrough and victory lie ahead, do not lay down your sword.’” Her words resonated, filling the air with an urgency that seemed to echo the promise of strength and perseverance yet to come. Those profound words have never left me; they have come to mind over the years when I faced a battle that seemed to have wrought victory.

Today, we witness a familiar struggle that resonates deeply within our nation’s soul. In the wake of the election results, a wave of renewed hope washes over many Americans, sparking a sense of optimism for our country’s future. As we prepare to reaffirm our longstanding alliance with Israel, this shift feels like a significant answer to prayer, a momentous occasion for those who hold these values dear.

We find ourselves standing on the threshold of a potential resurgence of biblical principles that have been sidelined for years. It is as if we have emerged victorious from a long and arduous battle. Yet, amidst this newfound hope, we feel God’s gentle but firm reminder urging us onward: “Do not lay down your sword.” This call to perseverance encourages us to continue the fight for our beliefs, reminding us that our journey is far from over.

I am reminded of the days of Nehemiah.

In Nehemiah 4:17-18, the Bible says, Those who built on the wall, and those who carried burdens, loaded themselves so that with one hand they worked at construction, and with the other held a weapon. Every one of the builders had his sword girded at his side as he built. And the one who sounded the trumpet was beside me.

The men were diligently laboring to restore the crumbling walls of their city, a task of paramount importance amid the looming threat of adversaries encircling them. The tension in the air was palpable; the presence of their enemies was so pervasive that it paralyzed their efforts. Each time they bent to their work, a nagging fear gripped them—a fear that if they momentarily turned their backs, the enemy would seize the opportunity to strike. Understanding the precariousness of their situation, they decided to pivot and devise a new strategy, one that would allow them to protect their city while continuing their vital efforts.

As they persevered in the arduous task of reconstructing the towering wall, determination radiated from their every action. They worked tirelessly until the wall stood complete, yet not once did they relinquish their swords, which hung resolutely at their sides.

Each day, as they toiled to fortify their sanctuary, a vigilant sense of alertness accompanied their labors. With one hand expertly maneuvering the heavy stones and tools necessary for the build, the other remained ready to wield a sword at a moment’s notice. They were a steadfast blend of builder and warrior, constructing their fortress while remaining ever prepared to defend it.

We must take to heart the significance of these words and the strategy they convey in our current times. While we can all let out a collective sigh of relief following this election, it is crucial that we do not lower our defenses. Our commitment to prayer must remain resolute. Although a significant battle has been won, the larger war continues to loom ahead. We cannot waver in our stance. While we may not carry a physical sword at our side, our true weapon lies in the timeless truths found in the Word of God. This spiritual sword is what empowers us to stand firm and navigate the challenges that lie ahead.

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. (Eph 6:17)

For the word of God is living, active, and sharper than any two-edged sword. (Heb 4:12)

The Amplified says it like this; For the word of God is living, active, and full of power, making it operative, energizing, and effective.

The Word of God serves as a mighty sword, brimming with unparalleled power. It is not merely a collection of words; it actively influences and transforms our lives, and changes nations. Its profound effectiveness resonates deeply, guiding us through challenges and illuminating our paths.

I have a strong conviction that the adversaries of God have not yet concluded their efforts. Nevertheless, regardless of the obstacles they may throw in our path or the turmoil they aspire to instigate in the coming days, we will remain steadfast in our resolve. We will tirelessly work together to construct a united nation grounded in faith, guided by the fervent prayers of our people and the powerful Word of God.

In recent years, the landscape for prayer warriors and intercessors has been filled with turmoil and challenges. Despite the adversity we have faced, our hearts continue to overflow with unwavering faith, vibrant hope, and a profound anticipation for the magnificent plans that God has in store for this nation. We stand firm, united in our commitment to seek divine intervention and uphold one another, confident that brighter days lie ahead.

How can we have such hope? Because the Word of God is the ultimate authority. And it says, If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. (2 Chron 7:14)

As we humble ourselves and pray, seeking the face of God – He will heal our land.

Dear friends, we are on a journey to build the Kingdom of God, an endeavor that requires our unwavering commitment and faith. As we move forward together, let us not forget to keep our swords at hand—sharp and ready to defend against any challenges that may come our way. These swords, the Word of God, empower us in our battles. When we boldly declare that Word from our mouths, we harness its authority, compelling every knee to bow and aligning every aspect of our lives with its truth. In this powerful unity, we stand strongly against anything that seeks to oppose us.

I can’t predict what the future holds for us in the coming days, and the uncertainty can be daunting. However, one thing I am certain of is this: God is unwavering in His faithfulness, and He is attentively watching over His Word, ready to bring it to fruition. It’s essential that we hold tightly to that Word and allow nothing else to shape our thoughts or words. Let it be the sole proclamation we share, for in doing so, we align ourselves with His promises.

Encouraging article. Staying in the Word, sharing the gospel and being in constant prayer for our nation and spiritual revival is so important especially now. Please just remember that the kingdom of God won’t come until after the tribulation and the great battle. Right now we must live for Christ and pray supporting President Trump to rebuild our country into a more godly nation.

This article is in lockstep with the words I was given during the election and after the victory. They were:
We must now pray four years ahead;
We must now pray to not become complacent;
We must watch and pray as the world will soon clamor after everything God in the near future.

Now that we have a good president and a good congress, I think we need to pray for the repeal of bad legislation; such as
1. USA Patriot Act (2001) which created shortcuts around the 4th amendment
2. Intelligence Reform and Terrorist Prevention Act (2004) which created the all-powerful Director of National Intelligence as well as the National Counterterrorism Center and strict anti-money laundering rules
3. Homeland Security Act (2002) which created the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
4. The Sarbanes-Oxley Act (2010) which imposes criminal liability on CEOs for even minor errors in accounting
5. Dodd-Frank Act (2010) which gave the SEC power to conduct trials without the right to a jury
6. various COVID related laws and executive orders in 2020-2023 which mandated masks, fake vaccines, social distancing and lockdowns, all of which were worthless in stopping the spread of the disease.

All of these acts and others were justified at the time as targeting enemies and providing tools to fight terrorism, crime and disease. Those justifications were mostly lies. There were plenty of laws on the books that enabled military officials, investigators and prosecutors to do their jobs. What these laws were about was giving government more surveillance and prosecution power, not to be used on external enemies, but to be used on internal political enemies. This has resulted in political prisoners such as the J6 defendants and trump aids Steven Bannon and Peter Navarro. It has resulted in unnecessary pre-dawn raids by SWAT teams on unarmed individuals like Roger Stone who was frog marched in his pajamas with CNN cameras invited along for the spectacle. These laws also allowed collaboration between the White House and Big Tech to censor news about the Hunter Biden laptop and the cover up of U.S. funding by Anthony Fauci for the Chinese bio-engineered virus.

I wholeheartedly agree, that this is not a time for complacency. We need to stay on point as intercessors. President Trump needs our intercession even more now than he did while campaigning for the recent victory. As many supporters as he has, he also has misguided, deceived enemies who will not stop at anything in their attempts to destroy him. Lord, I pray that You put a hedge of protection around Donald Trump, the First Lady, and all of his family. May they eagerly and frequently seek Your guidance and wisdom before doing anything whatsoever. Thank you Jesus.

Amen! The enemy may have lost this battle but he is not running away but regrouping. He knows too many in the Body let their guard down at times like this and are easy to attack. The word that needs to be on our hearts and minds is to be faithful to God as He is to us. The Bride needs to continue to make herself ready for our soon coming King!

Holy Spirit confirms this word in my spirit. Our SC IFA group brought this point up a couple of days ago. Thank you for this encouraging word.
Father, the work has only just begun. Every day we shall “dress for battle” with our spiritual armor. We will continue to work. There is some tearing down and moving away of rubble. Then, it is time to rebuild in so many places. Let the rebuilding be of holiness, righteousness, justice and most of all LIFE. Thank You!. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father: Thank you for your word. Thank you for your Faithfulness. I cannot tell you how much it means, in this world of change and untruths, to know that You do not lie. That we can stand on your Word and your word is REAL. You say exactly what you mean and mean what you say and I adore you for that. Help us all to be like David when he declares in Psalms 119:11 Thy Word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against thee. Help us to get closer and closer into your word as we wait for your Son’s soon return. Help us to be diligent in reading and obeying your word so that we will be able to occupy until then — behaving and responding as you direct us in your word. We give you all Glory, Honor, Power and Praise for you Alone are Worthy to be Praised!. We pray this prayer in the Mighty, Mighty Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Savior, Healer, Protector, Best Friend Ever — Our Everything! Amen
