Donald Trump has become the first former president to be charged with a crime. What do you think?
From Reuters. Donald Trump has been indicted by a Manhattan grand jury after a probe into hush money paid to porn star Stormy Daniels, becoming the first former U.S. president to face criminal charges even as he makes another run for the White House.

The specific charges are not yet known, as the indictment remains under seal. CNN on Thursday reported Trump faces more than 30 counts related to business fraud.
Trump said he was “completely innocent” and indicated he would not drop out of the 2024 presidential race. He accused Bragg, a Democrat, of trying to hurt his chances of winning re-election against Democratic President Joe Biden.
“This is Political Persecution and Election Interference at the highest level in history,” he said in a statement. …
Trump, the frontrunner for the 2024 Republican nomination according to polling, received support from a number of his potential challengers on Thursday including Florida Governor Ron Desantis and former Vice President Mike Pence.
“This will only further serve to divide our country,” Pence said.
While the White House did not comment, Democrats said Trump was not immune from the rule of law.
“I encourage both Mr. Trump’s critics and supporters to let the process proceed peacefully and according to the law,” said the top Democrat in the Senate, Chuck Schumer. …
Bragg’s office said it had contacted Trump’s attorney to coordinate a surrender, which a court official said would likely occur next Tuesday.
Trump’s lawyers Susan Necheles and Joseph Tacopina said they will “vigorously fight” the charges. …
From The Floridian. Moments after former President Donald Trump was indicted by a Manhattan grand jury, Gov. Ron DeSantis has denounced the prosecution and indictment, calling it “un-American.”
“The weaponization of the legal system to advance a political agenda turns the rule of law on its head. It is un-American. The Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney has consistently bent the law to downgrade felonies and to excuse criminal misconduct. Yet, now he is stretching the law to target a political opponent. Florida will not assist in an extradition request given the questionable circumstances at issue with this Soros-backed Manhattan prosecutor and his political agenda,” stated Gov. Ron DeSantis
Gov. DeSantis recently said that he would not get involved in the case, but appears to have changed his position with this statement.

Trump is not a grifter! He is not a criminal! He committed sins like I have and he repented and was forgiven by GOD, just like I was forgiven when I repented! We born-again Christians have something in common, and that is Truth! We know Truth from a lie immediately! We also have discernment to know who is for GOD and who is not! One thing the lefties have in common is that they constantly accuse Trump, but they can Never say what his crimes are, or what lies he has told! President Trump isn’t perfect, and, he is not a liar! He tells the truth even if it is detrimental to him. Some also think they are Christians though they have not the mind or heart of CHRIST! This is clearly a political ploy by the left and an embarrassment to our justice system. We know the root of this is evil and that is where the battle lies. We also know that this battle belongs to God which our Lord Jesus has won through His death on the cross and we give all the praise and glory to Him. Therefore we pray that His Kingdom comes to earth and His justice is done. We pray that as Christ followers we stand up for God’s principals through prayer, action, and love.
