The DOJ is deploying district election officers to handle intimidation, threats, and fraud. Is this an answer to our prayers?

From The Epoch Times. The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has announced the deployment of district election officers to handle reports of intimidation and threats, fraud, and other election irregularities as part of the Election Day program.

Have you taken your place on the wall?

Multiple news releases from the DOJ were sent last week for specific districts, with similar or identical wording for the respective areas’ election officers who are set to respond to alleged abuses on Election Day. It’s not clear how many have been issued so far, but the DOJ announced more on Oct. 21.

An Epoch Times review of the various DOJ releases shows that the department is naming assistant U.S. attorneys to lead their areas’ Election Day task forces.

In an Oct. 21 release announcing the Middle District of Pennsylvania’s elections officer, the DOJ said it “has an important role in deterring and combatting discrimination and intimidation at the polls, threats of any kind directed at election officials and poll workers, and election fraud.” …

According to the DOJ, the FBI will also have special agents available in each of the bureau’s field offices on Election Day to respond to allegations of election fraud or other abuses.

Last month, U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland held a public meeting of the Election Day task force, saying there has been an “unprecedented spike” in threats targeting election workers since 2020. …

The DOJ said it will work to counter and disrupt attempts by Russia, Iran, and China to “interfere in our elections,” according to Garland, who was referring to U.S. intelligence reports that foreign actors are “seeking to interfere.”

Garland also made reference to criminal cases against individuals who allegedly made threats against election workers in Arizona, Colorado, and Michigan in July and August, including an instance in which an Alabama man allegedly threatened to kill election officials in Maricopa County, Arizona. …

My response to the DOJ sending their forces to guard the election process is different from what others seem to be feeling (or saying). The DOJ is weaponized now, under the command of Merrick Garland. (sp?) All one has to do is look at the many, many protesters who are still sitting in jail, with no trial. Or look at the way the DOJ has gone to the homes of perceived enemies, breaking in with an armed force, and trashing homes and scaring kids.. Causing great emotional and material pain for innocent families.
I see the DOJ going to the voting sites to make sure conservatives have no say it what is going on. I hope I’m wrong

    I agree.

If the Merrick Garland /DOJ was trust worthy, maybe they could/might be trusted in this or any situation. They have proven themselves ‘not so’ .

If the DOJ is ‘guarding’ than no one is likely to be arrested unless someone gives them grounds while they are at an election site. During an arrest, police break in in order to avoid someone getting a weapon. Seeing that many voting sites have cameras now and some election officials are Republican, it would be hard for anyone to conceal anything.

I want to remind everyone that it should not have come as a shock that Trump lost the 2020 election. Afterall, the 2016 election was close and there were Christians who were dismayed by Trump’s behavior while in office and believed in Biden’s campaign promise that he intended to unite the country and was going to be a moderate president. So, it was not that much of a stretch to believe that Biden won. And, as the staff of IFA has admitted, their response was ’emotional.’ They ‘felt’ that Trump should had won and emotions can often deceive people.

It is a stretch; however, that Biden received millions – some say 8 – more votes in last election than Obama received in his second.

    That is the stretchhhhhhhh!

Many of the votes were against Trump, not for Biden. I think you know that.

Jesus please show Americans the difference between contesting an election, which was what Trump attempted to do and is fully Constitutional, and what the Biden administration claims was insurrection. We have all seen the people inside the Capitol walking around and none were armed. Release all who have been held for almost 4 years without bail, without clear charges, and against all the laws of this nation. Strike down the DOJ’s attempt to arrest those citizens who protest against the democrats and their rampant election fraud. Prevent the DOJ and the FBI’s weaponization of voters to aid the Dems in keeping power. They have shown they are against conservatives these past few years and the American people.

Lord, show Christians that they did more than ‘contest’ the election in a reasonable manner. There were investigations by William Barr, who was appointed by Trump as head of the DOJ because he was known by both Republicans and Democrats, to be a tough, fair-minded man who was not swayed by politics. In addition by January 6, foxnews, who was aligned with the goals of the Republican party and was ,thus, motivated to find evidence if it was there, had investigated claims and also found that much of what was reported was false. Moreover, when there were investigations by non partisan groups of mostly Republicans who put together reports hundreds of pages long and posted them online, that those claiming election fraud REFUSED to read the reports because they didn’t like their conclusions.
Convict the Christian leaders, who have continued, four years later and after more than sixty courts have reviewed the claims and dismissed them, to claim that the election was stolen.

Yes, I agree that any of the protesters who entered the Capital after the door was opened and did not indicate by something that they posted that they knew that they were breaking and entering, should be released. But any that entered through a broken window and came to Washington with arms, they should be charged.

Lord, convict those Christians who continue to stir up anger against election workers and 2020 election fraud. There has been far more fraud on the part of those claiming that the election was stolen then what happened during the 2020 on the part of both Biden and Trump supporters.

Father, thank you for blessing our elections, and protecting the polls as we vote. Keep them safe and honest this year, I pray, in Jesus name. Amen
