With all that’s going on in America, the last thing we need is more censorship.
From Fox News. Sen. Mark Kelly, D-Ariz., asked during a meeting about the bailout of Silicon Valley Bank whether social media could be censored to prevent misinformation going out that could lead to a bank run, according to reports.

Michael Shellenberger, an independent journalist … reported that Kelly asked the Federal Reserve, Treasury Department and Federal Deposit and Insurance Corp (FDIC) about censorship measures during the meeting on Sunday.
Republican House members on the call confirmed with Shellenberger’s publication, Public on Substack, that a Democratic senator asked about censoring social media companies, including Rep. Thomas Massie, R-KY, though Kelly’s name was not specifically noted. …
Rep. Dan Bishop, R-N.C., confirmed with the Public that it was Kelly who asked about the censorship. …
Kelly’s camp denied the claim Monday evening and said Sen. Kelly asked about foreign adversaries potentially trying to take advantage of the situation by spreading misinformation. …

Officers were withdrawing a million dollars a second from SCV is because they were responding to the corruption that caused them to potentially lose their funds and for many others to actually lose their funds covering up one sin with another sin is not solve a problem
Solution is to not have corruption in the banking system in the first place. There should never be censorship.. one of the main pillars of American freedom is not having censorship.
someone commented here about confidentiality agreements being violated.. confidentiality agreements are just carefully worded agreements to censor.. and people that have allowed their mind to acquiesce to that type of thinking are in the enemy’s Camp it is foolishness. That’s the same mindset that the bush Dynasty use to introduce political correctness and the first usage of the term new old order in 1989 in H.W.’s speech. The only reason for censorship is to cover up corruption
Given the breathtaking rate at which depositors were pulling funds from SVB, about $1,000,000 per second, Kelly is entitled to concerns about the instantaneous nature of social media being able to intensify the stampede effect.
Whether or not we see a need to censor messaging in general, I think the inevitable committee investigations should try to establish whether insiders leaked warnings to those who were able to get to their money earliest. I hesitate to believe in luck when things were moving that fast. Employees of financial institutions have to sign confidentiality agreements and we have a right to know whether these were being violated and, if so, whether it materially worsened the situation.
Light dispels darkness. The directors of SVB didnt follow the rules. Their greed has endangered its customers and others. I am praying that the government and all regulatory agencies will take seriously the errors of the SVB directors.
I think Michael Kelly wants to prevent Americans from finding out just how many former Obama administration people and big donors of democrats were on the boards of directors of the failed banks! Probably some of Mr. Kelly’s donors were on the boards! FATHER GOD when President Trump said he was going to clean out the swamp, I had no idea just how bad it was! Though he is not in the white house, the uncovering is still going on big time! I had no idea just how greedy, lying and corrupt our government was until Trump hit the scene! Some of the crooks hate Trump so much that they tell on themselves and others! I am grateful my eyes are being opened as corruption after corruption is brought to the light and the crooks are scattering! Thank YOU FATHER GOD for exposing every corruption to date and in the future! Let people be put out of office and held accountable and let the honorable and honest take their jobs in JESUS NAME! Amen!
